I was referred to Dr Sheth by a few clients -years ago. They raved about her and said she was the best Dr that ever lived. BUT ... I had a hard time getting through the phones, it felt impossible -so I tried another Dr in the area. But... I was NOT totally comfortable with the Dr we had been using since 2017, however I felt my options were limited due to our insurance and the area, I wanted to stay local and not drive too far. I was losing faith in the medical community based on the poor experiences I was having with our Dr we had been assigned to. BUT... I knew there had to be more, I knew there had to be a Dr who would genuinely treat and care for my kids. I was trying to stay with the Dr we had been using (since the previous pediatric Dr we used changed what insurance they took- which was why we had to change Drs. In the first place). Otherwise, I would have kept our previous Dr since he was with both of my girls after they were born, and we liked him. I don't like changing Drs, I usually stick with one until they retire. But I was honestly so disappointed with my circumstances for the past 4 years. BUT ... I kept trying and FINALLY I got through the phones and got an appointment with Dr Sheth!!! I'm so grateful I got through, it was definitely worth the wait. I can see why Dr Sheth has all the positive hype! She is an amazing Dr! She is personable, she greeted me and my girls with a nice smile and welcoming energy! So needless to say our first impression was amazing! During the exam - She was so thorough, she did a complete exam. Complete - I mean head to toe. Checked their height and weight (of course) Eye sight, hearing, urine, hemoglobin, she sat with them and spoke to them and let them interact with her on a personal level. She asked them questions and let them ask her questions. She did a complete exam of both of them, and didn't miss a thing. Both of my girls liked her and listened to her. She spoke to them about nutrition and lifestyle. They really soaked up all the knowledge she shared with them! She sat with them and looked them in the eyes to really connect with them. She is a DR and gave them her time and energy. She even gave them each a book to take home as a gift. The girls were so happy, she made seeing the Dr a positive experience for them. They usually dread any DR visit. Now they will look forward to going to see her! Overall, now I see why she has such a strong parental following! She is passionate about kids, she was passionate about my kids. You can feel how deeply she cares for all children and the well being of them. We've been patients with Dr. Sheth since the birth of our first child. She is an amazing doctor who genuinely cares about her patients and their families. She always takes her time with every doctor visit. Each child gets a little book or some stickers once the visit is complete. She is readily available by phone during urgent situations and returns calls promptly. We are very fortunate that her office is located close by! Second, I brought my two daughters to the office for the younger one's check up only to be told one patient per guardian according to their Covid policy. What did they expect me to do? I had to call them and ask when her next one was and they said oh come today . Really? Dr. Sheth from day one when I interviewed her as a potential candidate to be my baby's pediatrician was sweet, honest and gave impeccable answers. With a journalism background I had my list of questions and she answered all of them with an positive attitude. I was impressed with how much detail she gave on why she wanted to become a pediatrician. Most give "I love kids" reason. While of course this should be the number one answer, there should be an in depth answer and Dr.Sheth gave that. When she met my newborn it was literally a few days after I decided to go with her that I had my baby earlier then intended. Dr. Sheth came one day later after my baby was born to visit us in the hospital. This made me completely like her. Not to mention that she was recommended by my primary doctor - Dr. Ameeri (who is also awesome) so naturally I knew this would be a great fit.
