We were referred by a friend to Dr. Patel and had our first well visit to establish care. The front desk receptionist was so friendly and kind to my littles. Carmen and Holly were out nurses and they were both patient and kind to my babes. Dr. Patel was very friendly and very through. She did a great job during the visit and was interested in getting to know my babes. We talked after and she answered all my questions and provided some helpful insight. The kids Kare office is the absolute best! We absolutely love the staff especially Kara! She is the best part of coming here! We ALL adore her! Being a first time pregnant person there are a lot of unexpected things you have to know about. It had completely slipped my mind that I needed to find a pediatrician by the time my daughter is born (woops). When i was meeting with other pediatricians i was met with no warmth or kindness, just kind of a "what are you doing here?" kind of attitude. A doctor even got short with me because i asked if she had kids, made me feel really uncomfortable like i was asking a rude question or something. then i had an appointment with Dr. Patel and holy moly. What a difference. I was met with an extremely warm hello from the front desk assistant, i forget her name, but she knew it was me and greeted me by name even though this was our first time meeting. I was seen right away, Dr. Patel was extremely friendly and warm and had a really good energy about her. I didn't even have to ask any questions, which was great because as a first time mom i didn't even know what to ask! I left feeling confident about who im picking for my care team, and I'm now much more at ease about what's to come. read more

I just want to add 5 more stars for Dr Patel. We are out of state experiencing pink eye in our 1 year old and I was getting quoted $150+, $350 for urgent care because our insurance isn't taken out here. I called Kara and she had me helped out in 5 minutes! I didn't have to take my baby out and expose her to an urgent care office with sick people in it, I didn't have to pay a ridiculous copay. Before visiting this office, I called in advance to make an appointment, and the two women that helped me over the phone were very nice and worked with my crazy schedule. Then in person our first visit was amazing and the two women in the front were so sweet and so funny and the doctor herself was amazing and listened to all the concerns, My husband and I had. The doctor even talked to my four-year-old son and engaged with him. We did not feel rushed and our concerns were heard and many options were discussed. The doctor was kind and empathetic. I can honestly say I have never had a single bad visit at Dr Patels. Front office staff Kara is amazing..her positivity and joyfulness eases your worries right when you step into the clinic. Ashley (nurse?) is so sweet and you can tell loves babies/kids and her job. Dr Patel has the voice that makes kids adore her and she patiently listens and addresses all your concerns. I LOVE this office! From the receptionist to the MA to Dr Patel, everyone is SO nice, competent, and helpful. I have been in the medical field for 12 years so I am very picky about who I take my child to, and I have to say that I am so impressed. The office is clean, orderly, and efficiently run. Front desk issue there. My son is a new patient there, and one day he got eye infections with discharge. So I called for appointment, and the front desk lady who picked the phone, saying "that's because your son had the cold so the mucus coming out though the eye." I was like why you giving me the diagnosis and your are not even a doctor and not seeing my son yet. and I am confused, so did she gonna booking the appointment for Dr. or not! So I ask her " you said my son's eye got discharged because he had running nose and the mucus is coming out from the eye? So I don't need to see doctor?" So I insist and i finally got the appointment with Dr. I am not okay with the front desk lady who delivered information not professional. Parents Just be careful with that. read more

I recently moved and had to find a new pediatrician, but wanted to leave this review about our time at Kidz Kare with Dr. Patel. She and her staff are absolutely AMAZING!!! Even as new patients they were able to see us right away and was always so welcoming, knowledgeable and friendly! The office is super clean and kid-friendly and Dr. Patel has the BEST "bedside manner" and personality with children (mine are very young and always scared to go to the doctor, but they LOVED going to see Dr. Patel!). She had a way of putting us all at ease both children and parents :) and her staff especially receptionist/admin Kera Is the BEST!!! I love love love this pediatric office!!! From my initial conversation with Kara, she was very professional, she listened to my concerns and was able to get my 3 month old daughter in the next day as she understood I was concerned about what was going on with my daughter. I highly recommend Dr. Patel. She is great with children, has great assessment skills, and very informative. Her staff is also very helpful and friendly. My daughter had her 6 month check up today, I informed Dr.Patel that we ad traveling to Mexico this weekend. Dr was nice enough to give us a sheet with medications to take just in case we need them. This office was full of so much love and joy regardless the stress or discomfort of my children. The receptionist was an angel. She was over and beyond kind, helpful, and accommodating to our needs. Not sure how the dr doesn't have more amazing reviews but I won't be the lazy mommy who won't give it to her, she's absolutely amazing! Highly I mean highly recommend. From the front office to the nurses all the women are Nourishing and welcoming, you feel at ease knowing your in good hands. Today I called to make my daughter an apt I was placed on hold for a few min but I wasn't able to hold cause I had my newborn on my hands so I hung up sure enough Miss Kara ( god I hope I'm spelling her name right) called me right back I mean if that isn't the best customer service than I don't know. She then right away put my baby girl on the schedule without any hesitation. Truly made me feel very blessed to have found the right dr for my children. read more

She takes her time to make sure all of our questions are answered and I truly appreciate it. The front desk staff is friendly and helpful. We have never had any problems with wait times here, however, I don't always think of waiting as a bad thing, that means she is spending quality with her patients which I'm sure anyone could appreciate. I know I don't like to feel rushed at the doctors. Also, I know for me after shots I do breastfeed to help soothe and that probably adds to wait times as well. My children just started seeing Dr. Patel a few months ago and I have already had to see her three times with sick children. Her staff is great at triage over the phone and fit us in when it was necessary for a same-day appointment. Chino Hills location: clean, comfortable, and efficient. I never felt like she was rushed during our visit and there were toys in the room for my son to play with while my daughter was seen (smart!). Wow...is all I can say. You cant ask for a better pediatrician and staff. They are so friendly, nice, and gentle with our kids. Our kids absolutely love everyone in this office. They've really made my kids confident with other medical professionals. The wait here is minimal. They are flexible with appointments and if you need to call for help/advice or after hours they are very responsive and helpful. We've had a few scares with our kids and they've helped us along the way. I would recommend Dr. Patel and her office to anybody who is seeking a pediatrician.
