This was the coolest camp site we visited on our trip up the coast! Unfortunately, we arrived late but check in was super easy and we were some of the only ones there, except for all the bunnies... There were SO MANY BUNNIES, at this campsite! More than I have ever seen in any one place. I assume that people feed them because they were not shy about coming right up to the camper and smelling us. There is a little market right at the front of this campsite that was fully stocked and had everything you could possibly imagine. It was $10 to buy a bundle of firewood and we enjoyed building a fire outside at our site. This place was definitely a little pricier than some other nearby areas, but in my opinion it was well worth it. The showers and bathrooms were clean and the views of the beach right from the site were spectacular. Give them a shot! read more

Oh Hell no. This whole town is a joke. Overpriced for nothing but noise and bar food at ridiculous prices and waits of an hour on a weekday. This is like paying for Disneyland for one 3 rides and 3 restaurants. We eat at Michelin Restaurants sometimes, because we cook better than most restaurants. The food here was laughable. The campground is so run down for the price. There are so many screaming (AND I MEAN SCREAMING) kids in the pool. Are they simultaneously passing out Adderall and sugar cubes for breakfast? read more

We camp a lot across the country, and we've camped at many places in this area of the coast. We paid extra to stay at Harts Camp, mostly because of the proximity to the beach as well as the advertised aesthetic, swimming pool & hot tub, and WiFi. It was definitely not worth the convenience, as many of the promised perks were not accessible, and the photos online were not realistic. WiFi was nonexistent. We paid $156 per night with taxes & fees - almost $800 for 5 nights for a short, pull-through gravel site. Cons: - Road map / signs are backward (if the provided map is correct, the signs literally mark the wrong road - the signs face perpendicular to the road instead of parallel like all city streets), front desk person also drew our entry coming in the wrong way on a one way road, and it would have been impossible to get into our site had we not noticed the mistake before going down the road backward. - The host at the front check-in seemed annoyed when people entered; very helpful but not very friendly. - Most of the roads are one way but not marked - you don't know you're going the wrong way until you need to turn around; the painted arrows on the roads have faded and need to be repainted. - Exit should be better marked. - NO WIFI!! It says you have WiFi, but in the 5 days we were there, two of us were able to get logged in once. There was no service, and we did not have 5G in the area. Even on Sunday through Tuesday when the campground had cleared out and there were very few people, still no WiFi. The only place we had internet was on the actual beach. - Pool was always packed, so we never swam. - Communal play area with yard games was occupied each evening by big group parties. - Campground does not look anything like the aesthetic photos online - the 2 best aerial photos have photoshopped green grass. We visited in mid-July, and I will post photos of the brown, dead grass everywhere. - There are multiple bathrooms, but the one nearest us only had two stalls, and if someone was in the shower the toilet was not accessible if they locked the main door. I showered once - the bottom 12" of the shower curtain was coated in mildew & mold (see photo). I will also upload photos of the condition of the interior & exterior bathroom doors; they are really dirty and need repaired & painted. Pros: - Plenty of space in our pull-through spot - Short 5-minute walk to the beach, climbing the dune at Cape Kiawanda, Pelican Brew Company, the couple coffee shops at the north end of Pacific City; long walk to the community center & a REALLY long walk to downtown / main city center (probably not actually walkable). - Okay putt-putt course - preteen liked it, better than anticipated. Really packed together holes (nowhere for people to stand who are not actively putting), but in good condition. Long walk from the registration office (where you have to check out clubs & balls) to the putt-putt course in the very back corner of the property. We do not have small children, but there is a nice little playground (like a large wooden residential set) with sand underneath back by the golf course. Many families were enjoying it. - Can borrow bikes (older, rusty - we only ever saw 4 available) and sand dune boards for free. - 3 arcade style games in the registration office in a tight space in the back - they were free to play, but the pinball machine doesn't work 100%. - Shower water was nice & hot, and there was almost never a wait (teenage daughters showered most nights). The bathrooms need a code to enter, so that safety was appreciated. - We were here for Dory Days 2026 and enjoyed the parade and BINGO at the community center. read more

Pacific City is a great spot, the beach, dunes and dories are all well worth the visit, this RV park on the other hand oversold itself and we were disappointed with many aspects. We booked many months in advance requesting to be close to other spots we rented in an effort to keep our group close and were told that had happened, in addition to being nowhere near one another both sites were tiny and dirty, lacking any shade or privacy. Site utilities functioned but water and sewer lines had to cross and both hookups were below grade, improvements to entire site are needed.My patient wife was in tears seeing her careful plans dashed. We survived thanks to the beauty of the surrounding area and people but feel grossly overcharged. Definitely returning to the area, certainly not staying here. read more

When we opened the windows of our rented airstream, all we could hear was the ocean and nature. Wild animals were everywhere, cool places to explore and great places to hang out. Hello Glamping world!!! I am no camper, never have been and probably never will be... So I was glad to come across Hart's Camp on my fb feed, otherwise I would have never know this place existed! I had a lot of vacation time (thanks Covid-19) and so I took a week off and randomly looked into staying somewhere within driving distance and that was dog friendly. I reached out to Hart's Camp with some questions about kitchen amenities and dog policies and they responded quickly! So I went ahead and booked a couple of nights in one of the airstream "hotels". Hart's Camp is located in Pacific City, OR and right across the street from Cape Kiwanda, and... Pelican Brewery and restaurant!!! There are only 7 airstreams and I imagine all get booked up pretty quickly during the summer months. I was glad to find that 5 of the 7 are dog friendly! Now about the airstreams! They are UBER cool! Each site has it's own private yard and individual parking spot! There is a personal fire pit with adirondack chairs (they will also provide a starter kit for the fire pit and S'mores), picnic table, a gas grill, and ours also had an outdoor shower with living plant wall! The airstream itself is well equiped, including a propane stove and small oven and most kitchen amenities, an inside flushing toilet and hot shower. Although the knives weren't sharp, everything else was fine. We had such a good time here I just might make this an annual trip! read more

I have never written a negative review before, but this stay warrants one. We are campers and were not expecting luxury, just a clean unit that looked like the one on the website. The arrowhead unit was overall unclean. It smelled musty and mildewed. There were stains and black mold on the walls and by the windows. The kitchen faucet was literally a trickle of water. The outside door latch appeared broken and could not be locked from the outside, as well as a duct taped window outside. Unable to stay with my granddaughters, we ended up driving home that night. At almost $400/ night - be warned. Reached out to customer service, hoping to be refunded for at least one night and no response. Don't waste your money or time. We have stayed at the hotel and the RV park many times over the years. It's always been a great place. Clearly something has changed. read more

Really great place to stay in pacific city. We stayed in airstream #2 for two nights to celebrate my 30th bday , and it was such a treat! The airstream was in perfect condition, nice little outdoor area with a grill, fire pit , Picnic table & outdoor shower. The location couldn't be beat as you're only 2 blocks from the beach & the insanely gorgeous Cape Kiwanda. Staff was quick to respond to the 1 issue that came up (our bbq was out of gas/not working right )- which was greatly appreciated. They have I believe 8 airstreams available to rent and then an area for RV's. Definitely would stay in Hart's Camp next time find myself in pacific city . read more

We were very disappointed to drive 2.5 hrs to have find our cottage was already occupied. They had given the current inhabitant the incorrect check in text. We had specifically chose this cottage as it had a separate sleeping area for our adult Son. It wasn't cheap! We were given two choices: kick out the current renter and have a dirty unit or use the unit the other person had reserved, a much lesser unit, At full rack rate!. No concessions, no "I'm sorry", nothing. The Staff seem very unconcerned about the mix up. We chose to get a refund and drive home with a ruined weekend. They did process the refund. We had hoped that this was a place we could visit regularly, but I wouldn't recommend it to anyone at this point read more

What a great find. The camp is clean and well maintained. The beach is literally right across the street. There's a coffee shop just outside of the gate. There is a pub restaurant across the street on the beach. Lots of adventuring to be done in nearby Beach towns! It was too bad we were here during the worst rains in recent history. At times it was like a monsoon. The only problem with all the rain was there was flooding on our campsite. Which made it challenging. The camp store was closed the whole time, so I cant speak to it. Rented an airstream at $301.00 per night. Waste of money. The airstream was super dirty. Floors were disgusting. Gas grill dirty. Be sure to wash the dishes and silverware before using. I found a lot of them with stuck on food. The countertops and table needed a good wipe down as well. Came with metal dishes and cups. How would you use the microwave? Only 2 towels for 4 nights. Wanted to leave after 1 night but no refunds. To much money to lose. Not to many positives: close to beach, store was OK. Go somewhere else. Don't waste your money. read more

ugh! I wanted so bad for this place to be great. the photos in the website really oversold the luxury aspect. I've seen many deluxe airstreams and this was not one of them. The trailer wasn't level, it was filthy, full of mildew and mold. The shower curtain was broken and the outdoor shower didn't drain. the Fire pit bench was broken and they refused to address it. They never gave us the bikes code. The check-in staff did not say two words to us. Also, the amenities were run down and dirty. We complained and got nothing but a shrug. I booked an Airstream (Arrowhead) for four nights based on the description and photos on the website. Hart's Camp advertises themselves as "offbeat luxury" -- no luxury there except for the price, a whopping $1,500+! The airstream looked nothing like the photos. It was run-down and dirty, like someone had spent 5 minutes cleaning it. Plus, there was MOLD everywhere (a health hazard), BUGGERS by the bunkbeds (ugh!), CIGARETTE BUTTS in the patio, the shower curtain was ripped, the grill dirty, the bench broken... The airstream wasn't even level so one has vertigo the whole time. We complained to management but no response. A total rip-off -- I've traveled around the world for 25 years. I have never experienced anything so shamelessly overpriced, dirty, and rude. Don't bother! read more

As somebody who stayed in the Hart's Camp Airstreams, we definitely thought this was a hit! Preface the review with the fact that you should focus on the Airstream hotel versus the RV park if you're looking to stay with just your RV's. Yes, it literally is just a gravel field with firepits, picnic tables and plug-in's etc. for the actual RV's. It definitely isn't glamorous but it isn't a dump. The airstream hotel is tucked into the corner though. Overall location is perfect. We stayed in Knapsack/Airstream # 8 which is No Pets. Pros: Bunnies...need I explain more? Fully stocked kitchen (to make a basic meal, don't plan to make a gourmet meal or anything) Outdoor showers (super private and the water is nice and hot) Free bundle of firewood and firestarter BBQ Good price (we paid $298 including taxes/fees for two nights, not bad considering the novelty) Bed was super cozy Heating and air conditioning Towels/toiletries provided Everybody was super friendly Super private Cons: Wifi sucked No entertainment as far as movies are concerned - you can rent them from the front desk at the Inn, but they're only DVD's. So, be sure to bring some if you want The RV park is ugly (literally no trees...at all) and a weird contrast against the modern Airstream camp, but it's clean and that's what matters Do yourself a favor and have a little weekend away! As soon as I saw there was an Airstream hotel in Pacific City I was already channeling my inner Matthew McConaughey - I absolutely had to stay here. Initially the website said it was booked up so I put my name on a waiting list and a few months before we were coming they called and said airstreams were available. I booked one online immediately. The check in is at the hotel on the left when you pull in. Be sure to bring your license plate number because they will ask for it. They have you sign some rules and then you get your key and are good to go. What are the rules? Oh, the usual...no smoking inside, clean up the campsite, quiet time at 10pm (a bit early if you ask me). Each Airstream has one parking spot for a car. Your airstream is mostly enclosed by a fence (except for the front where you enter the yard). Some Airstreams have a gate opening between the two so that larger parties could open up the area and have a larger yard. The airstream itself was, of course, super fucking cool. It was a one bedroom, shower and toilet were in separate little rooms, a fully equipped kitchen, nice seating area, bluetooth radio, etc. Outside were two Adirondack chairs, fire pit, and a picnic table. Off to the back was an enclosure with a door that contained your outdoor shower. Yes, there's an outdoor shower with a nice rain head and hot water - and much more roomy than the small one in the camper. The campsite is right beside a market/gift shop and across the street from the Pelican Brewing and the beach. So it is easy to pick some things up like marshmallows for cooking on the campfire or beers for washing it down. We built a fire (they give you starter wood but we had to drive to the gas station and pick up a pack of wood to really start a fire) and sat outside until late. It is really quiet out here except for the roaring of the ocean in the background. I would DEFINITELY stay here again....we have already discussed that this is a place we would come back specifically to stay here again. Thanks Hart's camp!! read more

This is smack dab next to the beach where they do a bunch of fishing. Boats are lined up ready to head out in the early hours. You check in and get all info to the park through a text. This campground is very basic first of all, no real landscape, spots are close to each other. They have one shower in the ladies restroom for the entire park which was odd. You def need to shop for food and bring b4 u go to Pacific City as there are only little market places with limited selections and inflated prices, unless u want to make the 30 min drive to Tillamook. Wi-Fi was great, hook up's all good, and site pretty level. The noise is the worse part tho, I get it's summer- yeah and ppl are out vacay all over but respect the quiet hours there is another campground that butts up to Harts and the ppl are not respectful at all, two of the three night stay was kept up till after midnight with the kids screaming and yelling and playing loud music it was horrid. Ppl were checking into spots at 10:30pm also which was off putting due to them being loud, and the lights and truck noise. It was a nice to have cooler temps and the coastal town very cute but sadly I will not go back to the area as it seems to be a very young group of folks who frequent the area. For those types it's a great hang out, ppl that like peace and serenity when camping this ain't it. read more

Super accommodating, they provided everything you need including firewood and even bikes to cruise the town on. Everything was super clean and everyone was really nice. Two TVs, a stereo, big grill outside and everything you need to cook in the little kitchen area. AWESOME outdoor shower. Can't wait to come back! read more

Spent last night in Hart's Camp Airstream #5, a first, and we loved it! The entire experience was awesome. Our Airstream was comfy and warm, and everything from the the shower to the bathroom were just the right size. The little yard was great for our campfire, and The Inn at Cape Kiwanda provided extra wood. The 6:00 pm wine tasting was nice too. We can check that one off our bucket list...and we'll be back! read more

This place welcomes Sprinter Vans but told me on the phone my regular-sized camper van was not allowed. Because my vehicle wasn't a certain make and model it was banned from the park. I was not given a reason why other than it was "the owner's decision" based on who they wanted to attract. Is vehicle discrimination a thing now? read more

We rolled into Pacific City without an RV reservation on Labor Day weekend and luckily they had one spot left for the night! The lady behind the counter was very friendly and accommodating! We needed to wash some bedding and they had a laundry facility on site and I felt comfortable leaving our laundry drying and we walked across to the beach. Our kids loved the bunnies and now we don't have any vegetables left in our coach! The RV Park isn't anything fancy, but the location is ideal! We look forward to staying here again! read more

This review is long overdue. My husband and I stayed in the airstreams with our three dogs for a 10 year anniversary. We stayed in February. Our first night was freezing and for some odd reason the heat was not working properly and it kept turning off and we would wake up freezing every few hours and have to restart it. Needless to say our sleeping was horrible. I called the office first thing in the morning and they were beyond kind. They completely understand and gave us breakfast on the house at the coffee shop ( amazing food) They explained that the maintenance guy who works on the airstreams would come by and sort it out. I wish I remembered his name, he fixed it up quickly, brought us lots oof firewood for the evening and was beyond kind. We were not expecting this but our whole trip was completely comped Because they felt bad about our first night. Beyond grateful!! We will be back for sure! We ended up staying at Hart's Camp, in our own travel trailer. The camp is close to everything; huge plus for us and the kids. However, I think what would make this place more appealing is if they had an option to have an RV space that was identical to their airstream rentals. They are much more appealing, cozy and would def make our experience here much more enjoyable. read more

We stayed here, at the RV Park (not the Airstream Hotel), over 4th July weekend. The location is ideal. You are just across the street from the beach and Pelican Brewing. They have a laundry on-site, there is a convenience store next door, surfing/boogie board rental and a pizza place all close. There are also games such as horseshoe and giant jenga available for guests to use. That all sounds great and is, but the downside and for us, is a big one - the campground; it's essentially a gravel parking lot where they have crammed as many spots as possible beside each other. There is zero shade/privacy and you are literally 4-5 steps away from the next RV. Had we opened our awning, we would have been touching the camper next to us. Would be okay as an overnight stop but we probably wouldn't come back here to stay for a couple of days or more which is a shame because this place does have the perfect location. They also have an employee parking lot beside the RV spots so you have about 15 cars parked right in front of your camper which ensures you have a tight squeeze when leaving with your camper. 5 stars for the location. 2 stars for Hart's Camp RV Park. Great idea poorly executed. read more

I will start off with the positives...extremely convenient location and their airstream area looks nice. However, all the pictures you see on social media and online are EXTREMELY misleading. We brought our own airstream and the camping area for people with their own RVs is a basically a gravel parking lot. No privacy, no grass, spots on top of each other, and your view is a bunch of trashy looking RV's. The WiFi is also terrible and doesn't work. Our trailer is 30ft and we could barely get it in and out with the required turns since it's in kind of a funky location. Not impressed especially for the price. We drove through the Cape Kiwanda RV park which is right next door and it was MUCH nicer, better rates, and a whole lot more amenities than Hart's camp (which is none by the way). If you're staying in one of their airstreams...sure, knock yourself out. Bringing your own, don't bother and go to Cape Kiwanda! read more
