We had no issue driving through the park to our site. Site 31 has plenty of space around it since the access road is on the left and lawn and landscaping on the right. The gravel site was fairly level and no issue with the hooks ups. The Bayview from the site was a nice touch even being behind a couple of other sites. The park was peaceful & quiet during our stay. Garibaldi is an easy walking town with a walking trail right along the west side of the park. Our two night stay was priced @ $70nite. We enjoyed our stay and will return Harborview RV park if we come back to the area.

It was not evident at booking that the property we were reserving was about 10 minutes away from the main location. There were no directions regarding check in, and that made it a hassle to backtrack to the main location for access. The main reasons we booked this rental were for the outdoor space overlooking the ocean and the hot tub. While the view was unbeatable, there was no propane provided for the fire table and the hot tub was green, so we weren't able to use either. My husband left a couple messages with the office but never got a response. When we raised this with the manager at check out, she indicated that we should have called for them to fix it and that she thought the hot tub was safe to use anyway (definitely not willing to test that theory). When we pointed out the unreturned calls, she was very dismissive. While the property itself was nice, the service and care were lacking.

We rented cabin #6 for the weekend and were pretty disappointed to have spent so much for such a run-down rental. We immediately wished we had stayed elsewhere. I was greeted by the managers growling dog. Fun! The human seemed nice though. First, the positives: Great view and access to the bay/ocean. And the fireplace was nice, but the circulator didn't work to keep the airflow going with the doors closed. Kind of a bummer. - That's it. The negatives: The couch was gross and partly covered by a fitted sheet/cover, while the upper portion was exposed and peeling. Time for a new couch! Then there was an antique upright record player (for some reason) that we couldn't get to work; just taking up space. Interesting choice. The entire back half of the cabin (bedroom/bathroom) is on such a slant that we felt so disoriented walking around. I am posting a photo of the bed, which has been shimmed on one side to account for the lopsided floors. The level of this cabins cleanliness was very questionable. Bugs trapped under the glass in the artwork, stains on the comforter, dust and sand e-v-e-r-y-w-h-e-r-e. And yeah, I realize we're steps from the beach, but it didn't feel like the floors had been cleaned in quite some time. When the evening light penetrates the windows you can see it all. Just gross. Also, each nightstand lamp in the bedroom wasn't working; turns out they were both unplugged. WISH I HADN'T SEEN BEHIND THE BED! Others had mentioned the woman who smoked. We saw her quite a few times standing in front of our cabin cigarette in hand. Not a fan of that. We won't be back.

Since we were only here one night we didn't need kitchen and loved the view. We are only feet away from beach! The unit is very clean and updated. Beautiful cabinetry, hardware, and tiled shower. There is a coat closet in the main room, no other storage. Everything inside works fine. Low water pressure in shower and intermittent cell service are my only complaints. The heat are wall units. The bathroom heat is from the fan overhead got very toasty. I thought it was a great place to stay. No body else were in the other units this time of year. There is a 24 hour market in walking distance as well as restaurants and a pot shop.

We weren't expecting much, but when we arrived we were pleasantly surprised. Things you need to know: The manager here is sweet and works very hard. She has beautiful plants/flowers on the property. We rented a "granny's vacation house" situation with a front porch, one room with a King sized bed and the 2nd room with a queen. The couch is a sectional with a pull-out full sized bed. You get DirectTV (but you shouldn't be watching TV while you're here anyway!), plenty of fresh towels, hair dryer, full kitchen with everything from a coffee maker, tongs, wine opener, microwave, strainer, etc. The kitchen and bathroom were both recently redone and had ceramic tile. They had fresh blankets and extra pillows in both closets. Board games in the bedroom closet. Plenty of hot water for 3 showers in a row (and I use a LOT of hot water). The best thing about this place is that I was able to walk to the market down the street to pick up milk/creamer, come back and make a pot of fresh coffee, and take it TO the beach for a morning coffee walk right after waking up. I returned to take a nice, hot shower, and then walked to the beach and spent the entire day there. Restaurants are within walking distance. Perfect little place for a pet-friendly beach visit. Just don't steal my reservation, or I'll hunt you down!

I stayed here to attend a close friend's wedding, but instead of celebrating, I was forcibly removed from the hotel while trying to travel with my medical service animal. During the eviction incident, staff members filmed me on their personal devices while aggressively claiming my dog did not 'look like a service dog.' For context, I live with a severe, invisible cardiac condition (SVT) that causes dangerous heart rate spikes. My dog was trained to track my physical distress to ensure my safety. Under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), service animals do not require a specific breed or a mandatory vest. Management went so far as to hunt down my personal social media. They found a lighthearted, sarcastic inside joke I had posted for friends pretending to sneak my late mother's puppies into another while she was battling colon cancer, and tried to weaponize it as evidence of a 'history' to retroactively justify their real-time discrimination against a disabled guest. Being recorded in a moment of medical vulnerability, forced out during a wedding weekend, and ultimately cyberstalked by hotel management was way too far. It was absolutely devastating. I am sharing this so that other individuals traveling with service animals or invisible illnesses are aware of how this establishment treats its guests.

Peaceful Stay with a Great Host…read more We had a wonderful stay at Raines Resort and loved Cabin C2. The cabin was clean, cozy, and very well equipped, with a comfortable bed, a full kitchen, a fridge/freezer that was especially useful for our fishing trip, Wi-Fi, and bathroom essentials. It truly felt like a home away from home. The river right outside the cabin was beautiful, and the dock was easy to access. Hong even provided fishing poles and bait, which made it easy to fish whenever we wanted. We also enjoyed meeting other guests on the dock, which added to the warm, relaxed atmosphere. The resort is close to the beach but still far enough from the crowds to offer the peace and quiet we were looking for. Hong was an outstanding host and made our trip even better with his local tips and recommendations during Dory Days festival that was happening the same weekend. He was always available if we needed anything, even after my partner forgot the door code and accidentally set off the alarm. This place was recommended by the charter company we booked our fishing trip with, and I'm so glad we stayed here. I highly recommend Raines Resort for a relaxing, stress-free getaway, and we'll definitely be back.

My husband, our little girl dog and I decided to stay at Raines Resort for one night before we drive up to visit the Tillamook Creamery (which is ~ 35 minutes away but is cheaper staying here than some of the other hotels closer). If you make a booking online directly through Raines Resort's website, it is cheaper and there is also a small discount if you stay 2 nights or more. We stayed in C3, one of their cabins that has a wonderful view of the river (just steps from your balcony). What is really nice about this cabin is that there is also a kitchen, which is something we really wanted so that we could cook our meal and also a meal for our little girl (yes we primarily cook all of our meals for her). It is nice that the kitchen has dishware, utensils, cookware, coffee, etc. But you would have to bring your own cooking oil and seasoning. There is also a full size fridge that has a freezer, which is greatly appreciated because from other hotels that we have stayed in, although there is a mini fridge, the mini fridge doesn't have a freezer and we have things that we would like to freeze (ice packs and also like to freeze bottled water to keep our food items cold in our cooler). There is a parking spot that you can park right in front of your cabin, which makes for easy loading and unloading. The bed we had was nice and comfortable. The place itself was clean. The bathroom was small though but was fine for our stay. Prior to our stay, Hong (the manager and possibly the owner?) contacted me via text message to ask me if I knew what time I would be arriving. I had told him that it would most likely be after the office is closed since we were on a road trip. He told me that it wouldn't be a problem and gave me the door code to get in and also said that he was going to be out of town so that most likely we would not meet him. But he was very good at checking in with me via text message, which I greatly appreciated. Overall, we all really enjoyed our stay and would stay here again when passing through this part of Oregon.
