This was the cutest cottages ever! Super clean, spacious and cloud like bed. The pressure in the shower was so good I didn't want to get out. The rooms are beautifully decorated in beach decor, spacious bathroom, plenty of towels, friendly staff. This place is in walking distance to everything. Stores , food and the beach. Highly recommend if you need a place to stay.

Record player, inn keepers personal picks of local sights and eating places.

Stayed there last night, met Justin who was one of the inn keepers, very nice young man, explained how everything worked, probably for the umpteenth time, lol. Great place to stay, room ambiance was great as well as the amenities. The bath had a nice mat inside the tub that is a step up from a chain motel, as well as the bath mat outside. All in all a charming stop on the road!

Cozy and adorable hotel suites! Very comfortable and fully loaded. The staff here is beyond hospitable. Location isn't far from Pelican brewery walking but far enough away to avoid the crowd. I fell in love with the fact that they have record players in every room and a plethora of albums to choose from. I would recommend this place over any in Pacific City!!!

My friend and I stayed a night and we were really surprised how cute the room was. Everything was clean, not a stain inside. We really appreciated how the kitchen was stocked with pots, pans, cups, plates. I've never stayed anywhere where those were included. We didn't use them but we sure would have if we stayed longer. They are also dog friendly, I brought my hefty side kick on our stay here. I saw that they cleaned up after the guests quickly and washed the sheets. That's something I'm glad I saw that because not every hotel does that.

But to miss this unassuming little spot would be a mistake. Located in the heart of Pacific City, the Pacific City Inn is just the ticket if you're traveling with a dog. We checked in later than we had hoped, due to some unexpected automotive excitement, and we were disappointed that we didn't have more time to romp on the beach. Check-in eased that pain. We were given a complimentary baggie with a cleanup bag and dog treats, and directed to head right to the beach for sunset -- as soon as the owner met Marley. It was great to get out of the car and tear around on the sand for all three of us. We returned to find a room fit for a dog. Simple, comfortable accommodations. No carpets to worry about, doggie cleanup towels in the office for beach trips and an expansive lawn out back, abutting our cozy patio. We ordered shrimp salads from a place the owners recommended. Delicious. A request for ice brought us ice, two glasses and cocktail napkins on a tray! She seemed disappointed when I declined the offer of straws. All three of us slept like we had not slept in days, thanks to comfortable beds and quiet surroundings. Pacific City Inn used to house a bar and restaurant, but no more (another Covid casualty). But no matter, because there's lots of food options nearby. What it is: a friendly, pet-loving place with all the things you need and nothing you don't. What it isn't: fussy or precious. After this stay, I'm certain we'll be back.

My husband, our little girl dog and I decided to stay at Raines Resort for one night before we drive up to visit the Tillamook Creamery (which is ~ 35 minutes away but is cheaper staying here than some of the other hotels closer). If you make a booking online directly through Raines Resort's website, it is cheaper and there is also a small discount if you stay 2 nights or more. We stayed in C3, one of their cabins that has a wonderful view of the river (just steps from your balcony). What is really nice about this cabin is that there is also a kitchen, which is something we really wanted so that we could cook our meal and also a meal for our little girl (yes we primarily cook all of our meals for her). It is nice that the kitchen has dishware, utensils, cookware, coffee, etc. But you would have to bring your own cooking oil and seasoning. There is also a full size fridge that has a freezer, which is greatly appreciated because from other hotels that we have stayed in, although there is a mini fridge, the mini fridge doesn't have a freezer and we have things that we would like to freeze (ice packs and also like to freeze bottled water to keep our food items cold in our cooler). There is a parking spot that you can park right in front of your cabin, which makes for easy loading and unloading. The bed we had was nice and comfortable. The place itself was clean. The bathroom was small though but was fine for our stay. Prior to our stay, Hong (the manager and possibly the owner?) contacted me via text message to ask me if I knew what time I would be arriving. I had told him that it would most likely be after the office is closed since we were on a road trip. He told me that it wouldn't be a problem and gave me the door code to get in and also said that he was going to be out of town so that most likely we would not meet him. But he was very good at checking in with me via text message, which I greatly appreciated. Overall, we all really enjoyed our stay and would stay here again when passing through this part of Oregon.

Anyway, Donna checked us in and she was so lovely and very welcoming. Our room was medium size and with plenty of room for two. Our room was decorated in an appealing retro 80's beach theme. The room was very clean and had everything one would need: towels, microwave, TV, WiFi, storage, and a large comfy king size bed with lots of pillows. Neskowin is a state beach park and the Inn conveniently has a couple of restaurants and a general store on the same property near the entrance and even a food truck (ice cream and waffle cones) and this place is only a minutes walk to the ocean and the famous proposal rock and ghost forest. This place is a bunch of independently open condos that go on a "rental program" so you never know a) how it will be decorated or b) what will be in the individual unit above and beyond the obvious features, bed, etc. Our unit was decorated in full beach decor, in fact, it appears that every time someone in the owners family bought a them a gift it was a shell or a picture of the ocean because the place was covered in them. (smile) All in all that added to the charm of this place. It was a condo so it had a full kitchen and we took advantage of that some of the time. The rest of the time we were hanging at the Hawk Creek Inn. In fact, one night while we were there, a friend that lived nearby had been out angling and gave us an entire crab to eat and a fresh (caught that day by him) salmon. There is a community barbeque grill that we were able to use in the parking lot are of the condo complex. Fresh salmon for dinner with a side of crab, well that couldn't be beat. The owners had a selection of currently released dvds to choose from so when, I unfortunately became ill with a horrible head cold and wanted to rest up a bit I could watch a dvd in the master bedroom while taking cold medication. All in all a good weekend.
