Robin is a staff member at this business and was amazingly helpful and kind!…read more I absolutely loathe going to laundromat, but I never place my comforters and/or bedspreads in my own machine, therefore, the need to visit this establishment. Robin made my visit very pleasant! This establishment does quite a bit of drop off laundry service, three staff members were busy folding and ironing laundry for customers. For individuals who opt for self-serve washing and drying, they have a variety of different sized washing machines, and an entire wall of new dryers. All the machines are wiped down after each load and appear super clean. The cost is reasonable for the self-serve washing/drying. I did not inquire about the drop-off service so I am unable to provide insight on that service. They offer two coin machines, as well as vending machines and an ATM. The staff informed me that they are completely remodeling the business, they are adding six new big washing machines (60 lb and 80 lb load capacity), they are putting in new flooring, painting, closing off the back right section (which is where they will be performing the drop-off service tasks of folding, ironing, and bagging laundry. They are also going to add a patio table outside of the entrance and changing the name to "The Laundry Room". The remodel should be completed by the end of June 2025. When I need external laundry services I will definitely return to this business.

Price is always decent ($1.25lb) Recently got a upgrade outside and name change (The Laundry Room) so it's pretty modern outside but looks the same inside. Same great service now even more efficient with online payment. Loved it!

Basic cleaners- nothing spectacular. I came here for alterations. I have visited Newport cleaners…read moretwice. They were conveniently located to where I needed to be and open early. For my first visit I had some pants that needed altered- cost $12. I dropped them off and they were done a week later. They looked awesome no issues. Which I why I returned a second time. Now my second visit went quite differently. I dropped off a top to be Hemmed. Same thing should be ready in a week- cost $12. So when I arrived and they told me 14$. I asked why it was more than $12 and got a very vague answer of well it took longer.... but no complete reasoning. The two young ladies kept talking to someone in the back who should have come and spoken to me about the issue but didn't. (yes I get it $2 not that big of a deal to some people but it is to me.) but I thought it was weird I had $12 written on my ticket and they added notes to their copy making it $14. Don't quote a price if you're not going to honor it- then over charge when the customer arrives to pick up. If you have issues with something or a price changes - call the customer before hand to make sure it's ok. I am giving a 2-star bc the quality of work is good as far as I can tell. But the shady business practices with over charging and lack of customer service have definitely deterred me from coming back. All I can say is check your receipts!!!!! I only wish she hadn't kept the receipts so I could post the photos.

I have been using Chase Cleaners for over 2 years now. It started as convenience due to my…read moreproximity to the location- but now they are the only company I trust to clean my clothes right. Here's what I feel they do really well: Pricing is really fair for standard cleanings. I typically come out of the store paying less than $50 unless I'm bringing really large pieces, specialty clothing like leather, or have more than 6 pieces to be cleaned. They are also very timely on service. If you arrive by 9AM (I think) you can drop off your clothes for same day service- but even if you don't make the cutoff time for same day service I can typically get my business clothes back in 24-48 hours. I know they have a third party cleaner for leather - so that will take longer. Bedding took 4-5 days but was well worth the investment for the comforter that I needed cleaned (it had a nice dog smell to it). The only thing I can say they could do better is setting up a website for informations/Q&A. The absence of that is part of why I think writing this review is important for a local business in the neighborhood. I did not expect to be so particular about a dry cleaning place, but here I am traveling for work and deciding that I will just wait to get my suit cleaned between work trips this week and next week just so I can take it to people I trust. Thanks to the kind people at Chase Cleaners for always taking care of me :)

I came back two weeks later to find that they had not been cleaned at all, and apparently didn't have the resources to do the cleaning that needed done in the first place. The owner claimed to have called me to notify me, but that was not the case. I asked if they could do anything for me to offset my disappointment so I could hopefully justify using them again in the future and they denied my request. The people at the desk both when I dropped off and when I went to pick up were very polite, but not actually helpful unfortunately.

This is the worst dry cleaning location in America in my opinion…read more The staff is AWEFUL and the person overseeing all locations is worse. I use to use them and spent about $400 per month. The staff was always put out that they had to take my clothes and write a ticket. After being treated like I was dirt I finally called into the district or regional manager to complain and it became clear real quick why the staff was so rude and uncaring. They followed their boss and provided the service they were taught.

Unanswered letter to Concord Custom Cleaners:…read more I am writing to let you know about some profoundly unprofessional treatment I've experienced at the hands of your management staff. After more than two months of stressful back-&-forth, I am hoping to resolve my issue directly with you, as the owner of Concord Custom Cleaners. I truly hope that you will make things right on behalf of your company, & help me once again believe in your website slogan... "People You Can Trust." In mid-June, I dropped off seven items for dry cleaning. Among them were a men's designer two-piece suit & a coordinating designer dress shirt. This was my fiancé's first & only suit. He was planning to wear it at our wedding, along with the dress shirt. Of the seven items, only two were returned in acceptable condition in June. The other items were returned in APALLINGLY BAD shape: dirty & wrinkled, with multiple creases in the lapels & trousers, as well as discolorations that looked burnt into two of the garments. They looked worse than when we'd dropped them off! This was clearly the work of plant employees who weren't being properly managed. To my surprise & dismay, I was refused a refund by the clerk at Bellerive; however, she did offer to redo the clothing. Unfortunately, based on the first attempt, I didn't feel comfortable leaving the garments for a second try. In the store clerk's presence, my fiancé & I took digitally time/date-stamped pictures of the clothing (this was the evening of June 21, 2013). Then we took the items home. The store clerk had told us to call Mike Hunter for a dispute resolution, since Bellerive manager Mike Webster was on vacation. I then had one conversation with Mike Hunter before he stopped returning my calls. I left him voicemails for two weeks, with no response. Finally, I got ahold of Mike Webster & learned that Mr. Hunter had been fired. No one had bothered to follow up on my issue in the wake of Mr. Hunter's dismissal. To make a long story short, I have been bounced back & forth between Mr. Hunter, Mr. Webster, & Mr. Brad Jennings throughout more than two exhausting months & several botched attempts at cleanings. One employee was fired while the other two were rotating vacations, it seemed. At this point, I have only gotten four garments back in what I consider to be "sort-of acceptable" condition. The fact that it would take two or three cleanings just to press & clean some of these garments tells me plant staff are not paying adequate attention. One of these stains was red lipstick on a white shirt - NOT very hard to notice. I shouldn't have had to point it out three times to get it cleaned. Mr. Webster & Mr. Jennings have become successively RUDER & LESS PROFESSIONAL with every interaction, especially when I reexamined my June 21 photos & found an additional discoloration, which had appeared on the back of the blazer after the first cleaning. Up to that point, I'd been so worried about the overall sloppiness & the numerous discolorations, which I feared were permanently burned into the garments, that I had somehow missed this additional problem area. However, the photo clearly proves that it's been there since cleaning #1. It is a dark splotch about 2-4" in diameter, with faded color inside it. The Bellerive desk clerk who was working on the afternoon of August 3, 2013, acknowledged the discoloration & agreed that it was bad. Both Mr. Webster & Mr. Jennings have admitted that (a) there ARE discolorations that were created by the cleaning & pressing process at Concord Custom Cleaners. They have also admitted that (b) the discolorations CANNOT be removed by plant staff. Mr. Jennings even stated at one point that if the cleaning process had damaged the suit, he would replace it. Yet, in direct contradiction to those statements, both men refuse to admit that this scenario adds up to a damaged suit. The discolored garments were designer pieces that were only three months old & had never previously been dry cleaned. They had only been worn a few times, we had entrusted their care to your company. My latest communications with both Mr. Jennings & Mr. Webster have been SHOCKINGLY INSULTING. Mike Webster told my fiancé & me flatly that he "doesn't care whether we're satisfied or not." Mr. Jennings & Mr. Webster have cast aspersions upon my intelligence & my character. When I finally mentioned my rights to seek restitution in this matter, after enduring two months of unprofessional nonsense, I was accused of blackmail. Patently absurd!!! We are simply asking Concord Custom Cleaners to replace the items damaged by its staff, so that we can move forward with our lives & our wedding plans. Although I was eventually refunded the original cost of the dry cleaning, my fiancé has no suit to wear to our wedding. The blazer & dress shirt are damaged & discolored. The pants are a spotted, wrinkled mess --- I was eventually offered less than half of the replacement cost of the suit. Not good enough!
