Granted we did get here within 30 min of restaurant closing so they ran out or didn't have the boba pearls available. So we'll try this again later when we have more time. If you're a fan of ramen you definitely need to check out Haru Ramen. You've got a varied selection of broths to choose from as the base of your ramen. I went with curry because I love the flavor. Along with what they put into the ramen, you have a selection of add-ins to choose to accompany your soup. The appetizers don't disappoint either, we ordered a few items. The 5 piece chicken is really amazing! I think alone you could come in just for that, but of course theres more food to enjoy! We also ordered the steamed pork buns which I thought were pretty good. I suggest eating the whole thing in one bite so you get a mouth full of flavor. I choose to go with the curry ramen, it had the perfect amount of flavor that I like especially when it comes to curry. I enjoyed every bite! For my beverage I ordered the honeydew boba milk tea, it was my first one, I liked it. I was throwed off by the boba balls but the taste of the honeydew was sweet and succulent. I highly suggest checking out Haru Ramen, they do a good job on food and service is very nice. For the price you really can't go wrong either so come see for yourself! I will say that even though I've had better ramen, I had a very pleasant experience. It's an awesome place to eat for our family since my child is a bit picky. My issue was that the broth tasted more like soy sauce and like they didn't play too much with the flavor. My fault for getting the basic option. Everything is great good and amazing. You come in to a gentle, bit dimly lit atmosphere with some calming, almost gibli sounding music. Their waiters and waitresses are Always nice and quick to recieve your order. I always open up with their fresh gyoza, which comes steamed to perfection, and to drink, a refreshing Thai tea boba. If I'm feeling down, I'll get their shoyu ramen, picks me right up after a tiring day or about to do something I don't want to do. If I'm looking to be satisfied, their Tonkatsu Ramen never disappoints, a flavor overload! And if I'm hungry, I'll get their beef bowl. That never fails to be my favorite! We got the chicken Ramen which was excellent the chicken was flavored with a natural richness, noodles were tasty, and the eggs were "boiled to perfection" (my wife's words) and yes I would agree they complemented the Bok Choy nicely. Spent $55 bucks for two entres and an an appetizer to be delivered. One entre and the appetizer arrived. The refund was issued, but my wife was without food. My ramen was okay at best. So, came over here in the rain, looking for something warm after Anime Banzai. I will say this place can get cold during inclimate weather. But that's fine, considering the warm food we were going to eat. Hubby got Tonkatsu Ramen, I got Curry Ramen, and we shared some Calamari Salad and Takoyaki. Gotta say, great food for a great price! This place has the best Tonkatsu ramen I've had hands down. It has the right balance. Definitely add the egg! The pork was tender and delicious. I can't really see why I would give this place fewer than 5 stars. I've come here 3 or 4 times now and each time it has been consistent and good. I've ordered the same thing every time too. I get the bbq pork ramen. The broth has a good deep flavor and the ramen noodles are cooked perfectly. Service is usually pretty good. They have plenty of veggies that come with the dish or you can order more for an additional cost. Also the table has different sauces you can add for additional flavor. Im pretty happy that the northern area of Utah is finally getting some Asian food, it use to be that there was only one Asian restaurant in the area and that was Kim-Long so Im excited about the new pho and ramen places popping up. I was driving from Roy City and I was just trying to satisfy my ramen craving, I ordered a Shoyu ramen to go, I kind of wish I stuck to the Tonkatsu ramen which is usually what I always get, not that the Shoyu didn't taste well, but Tonkatsu is my absolute favorite. The good about Haru Ramen is the excellent pork slices they give, ramen places usually have a habit of just giving you only pork fat with no meat so this was a huge plus for me, egg is hard boiled and not poached like most people like, but I actually prefer boiled. Shoyu broth was nice and clear which is my favorite, Ill be honest I was surprised it wasn't the miso one since thats what the broth tasted like to me, No complaints though cause it tasted great to me, if I were to give any critique I would say I wasn't a huge fan of the noodles, they were a bit chewy for me but it wasn't something to completely turned me off, overall I would make another trip here If I am ever up north visiting family. Met my wife for lunch and ordered the miso ramen and she ordered the shoyu ramen with the tebasaki as an appetizer. Very comparable to the ramen we had in Okinawa. So good! Was in and out about 40 min.. but that was taking our time. Our server was very polite and attentive to us but not too buggy. Great little ramen place if your in the mood. The tonkatsu ramen is amazing. It's rich, creamy, and porky with the right amount of salt. The pork itself is full of flavor and just falls apart. The chili oil is good, and is more chili than oil. I highly recommend it. Well worth the 10$ read more

Cons: Chinese decor, dark lighting, ramen does not have much flavor, very bland, noodles were over cooked and doughy, stuck to your teeth play doughish. Inconsistency of the cutting or Naruto. Some really thin pieces and some thick. They don't know how to peel and egg, it was very ugly. The takoyaki was VERY undercooked. Staff didn't seem to enthused with customers. No drinks on the menu. The ramen came out before the appetizer, pretty much half way through our meal, we figured they forgot or didn't hear us order it because the girl taking our order didn't really confirm what we ordered verbally. I really hope they fix these issues it seems like it would be a nice place. So if making top ramen is too much of a chore, come here. Won't be coming back anytime soon. read more

Been wanting to eat here for awhile now because I love ramen but sadly it didn't live up to my expectations. First location is great lots of available parking. The interior is large and feels clean and put together. They have larger tables on one side of the restaurant which is great for bigger groups. They seems to be understaffed. Things take longer and the waitress was also the hostess which is a lot of work when the restaurant is full. That being said she was very nice and friendly. But also extremely busy. I drink a lot of water and to keep my glass full is a huge deal to me when I am at a restaurant. I ended up drinking my husbands water as it took way to long to get mine refilled. The food was not for me, lots and lots of oil. We had the Gyoza for an appetizer and they were nice and crisp on one side but weren't very warm when they arrived at our table, also lots of oil. Next up chicken udon noodles, the noodles were a great thick noodle but they must have cooked fish in the same pan before the noodles as they were way too fishy tasting for me to eat. The udon noodles were also a very small serving for what you pay. Lastly the miso ramen, compared to other miso soups I have had the broth was very grainy and salty. The ramen comes with basics and they have additional items you can pay to have added which makes your ramen more customized if you want added items. read more

I have never really had Ramen and I was told to come try Haru Ramen. I walked in with a couple other people inside the restaurant. The inside was extremely clean and very upscale, it looked a lot nicer than some of the Pho places I have been to in the past. Service was quick and very helpful. I didn't know what to get so the waitress recommended I try the Miso Ramen. Its a pork based broth and what they claim is pork meat. They brought it out and it made sense why I didn't see any stray animals around, the meat looked very questionable. However, I tried it, and it was honestly fantastic. The bowl was large with noodles, sprouts, and boiled egg. Next time I come I will ask for the spicy Miso. I put about 5 scoops of the chili sauce and it really brought out all of the flavors of the broth. I will 100% come back to this place, this huge bowl only cost me $12! Just get past the scary meat and you won't regret it! read more

Interior was nice design. It was pretty cold inside the restaurant. We order two appetizers: Steamed pork buns, and pork gyoza. For our entrees we got Vegetable Udon stir fry (with added tofu and seaweed), and Chicken Katsu Ramnen (with added egg, and extra chicken katsu). The food came out slowly- assuming everything was made to order. I liked it like this because instead of all food coming out at once, since it was slower the food stayed hot while we ate one dish. The prices were all right all things considered and we got free macarons for checking in on Yelp. The decor was cool. The main problem is that everything was "just okay," from the edamame appetizer, the service (server was slightly distracted), and Hunny's ramen. My ramen on the other hand... My shoyu ramen contained some of the sweetest broth I've ever tasted, and it was not pleasant. I may, unfortunately, have to say that it was the worst shoyu broth I've ever had. I would much rather say that about a chain restaurant than a local business, but there it is. We are not terribly convinced we'd like to return. We're not against it, but we'd rather go to Tosh's in SLC to get our fix. The Ogden area has not been kind to us when it comes to ramen. read more
