Considering going here until the attached BOH reports were posted. They have never passed a routine BOH visit. The latest report Nov 2025 had 9 violations so very serious issues including cross contamination of raw products to unacceptable holding/warming temps. As a person who spent 40 years in the retail grocery business, I can tell you these reports are no joke and could get someone really sick or worse. Many of the poor reviews cited uncooked or cold food on the buffet. This would fit with the report attached. Quite honestly, the BOH in many counties would have closed this place down until corrected but in Ocean county the BOH is very forgiving sometimes at the public's expense. I would think twice about eating here especially if food is cold or looks like roadkill. read more

I went here with my daughter because she loves buffets. We walked in, were not greeted right away but instead had to speak first. The manager was not personable or friendly but seemed to choose with whom he wanted to smile and interact with. Our waitress was fantastic. She was nice and the restaurant overall was clean. The food was basic . Nothing was hot and it was barely warm. Absolutely no seasoning whatsoever even on the chicken. We went for lunch so dinner could be completely different. Overall it wasn't a terrible experience but still an experience I would rather not repeat. The 3 stars are for the waitress and the rest of the staff. read more

From the outside looks like a dive, but it is the buffet you remember from years ago. Service was great, nothing was ever empty or cold. The waitress was practicing her English skills and was very happy. The food was delicious, chicken, fish, and beef was cooked several different ways and everything was delicious. Price is just about the same as feeding the family at McDonald's This is a traditional Chinese buffet. It's a hidden delight for anyone who finds it and has a healthy appetite. read more

Food is good, but the service is HORRIBLE! Most, not all, of the employees seem annoyed with the customers they serve. One waitress got upset with my Mom after leaving a tip that she didn't approve of. Very unprofessional for working in customer service. Better service= better tip. read more

Food was great. Dinner selections start around 3:30 and since everything is fresh you may have to time yourself. But there's the Sushi and salad stations and the raw bar. There's also the hibachi grill where you can choose what you want. We were not hassled by waitress for a tip and the head hostess was wonderfully pleasant when we paid our bill. We usually choose either hit or iced tea unsweetened so no comment on soft drinks. Spent 90 minutes there and we go on weekends walking in at the start of dinner. Traditional dishes, creative seafood as well as a kids buffet. Quiet, relaxing. The raw bar selections were ample: crisp, fresh and clean. I did not see crab legs but soft shell crabs and colossal shrimp old bay seasoned. Desserts are plenty including awesome soft serve ice cream in cones or cups and hard ice cream in variety of flavors. read more

OK, so the first time I went here it was good but the second time it wasn't too good there was a hair in my food and everything was so bland. One of the desserts was good, but that's it would not recommend this place bad service. It was pretty nice in there, though I like the statues. read more

The worst Chinese buffet I have ever been to. We have tried it perhaps a hlf-dozen times. The hot dishes literally have a chill to them. A CHILL! The soup was tepid to the point that the texture was mealy from the chilled oils in it. I feel like eating there is a "crapshoot" for food bourn illness. Overall okay. I ordered a lot of food The sushi was fresh and delicious! Egg rolls were okay, but not too bad. Just wasn't as tasteful as I had hoped but a nice size and crispy. The service here was very kind, BUT for the love of god can y'all be more vegan/vegetarian friendly? There were literally no tofu items, which I feel are a staple at most Chinese restaurants. My option was to have sautéed mushrooms or string beans and rice, and when I picked up a "veggie spring roll" it contained meat. I haven't eaten meat for years, and while I tend to be flexible and can work around the lack of vegan food items at certain places, I think it is unacceptable for meat to be in a VEGGIE spring roll, especially when consuming meat or dairy now gives me digestive issues. Call it a pork spring roll or something. My mom also complained about her pork dumpling being undercooked. read more

The harvest buffet in Watertown deserves 1 star but I'm leaving 2. Tonight I went to The buffet with a couple of my friends right off the bat it took them a chunk of time to seat us when there was barely any people there. As we sat down she took our drink orders, my friend ordered a coke a just gonna carbonated water without the coke syrup and charged my other friend for a sprite even know she brought him a water. As we went up to get our food there was food all over the floor and they didn't clean anything up. The chicken was still raw, the steak was still raw and the pork was still raw. After we finished our first plate the waitress rushed over with the check and fortune cookies and said have a good night but we still stayed and ate for another hour. As I went up to get another plate I watched an old man tell his grandson to tie his shoe as he went down to tie his shoe he farted in his face and started laughing not ok. When it came time to put the waitress hovered over us looking at the tip amount we were leaving. We paid with separate checks, I paid for the meal on card and tipped in cash she then came back and asked me to tip on the card as well horrible service so not recommend this buffet the food is disgusting the service is even worse. I was there for about 1 1/2 hours and the whole time I was there I watched the same pile of French fries and ice cream sit on the floor, watched several employees pick there nose and touch the food overall not a good place to go for a buffet Tom's river is a lot better. read more

My son pulled a black hair out of his mouth after eating some rice. After telling the waitress she came back and said it could of been from a customer a lot of people eat here. I said what difference does it make my son and myself have lost my appetite. Then she went to the Manager and she came back to me with a $4 discount. I told her it was unacceptable and I went to find the manager who said the same thing many customers and said Mexicans have black hair too and it's a buffet and we ate already. Then after a few minutes of going back in forth that I should not have to pay because we both lost our appetites he charged me for one out of three and I settled. Food is tasty, but lukewarm at best ... it's frustrating. You need to watch when they put out fresh food and grab it. But, even with the place empty, they put out too much of a dish so it gets cold. Hibachi guy making food always tries very hard and is pleasant. You can see stream coming out around chafers, but it mustn't be hot enough. They never have even ONE spicy dish. The staff is very quick in removing finished dishes and filling your drink cup. The sushi looked good but they put spicy Mayo on most of it and im allergic to it so I had to skip that. The amount of food i spit out was unreasonable!! I spit out more than half my plate. I usually love Chinese buffets but this was the worst one I've ever been to. The food may have begun fresh but it ended up prepared poorly and served beyond freshness. Clearly those in attendance aren't seeking top of the line fare, but for a busy weekend night the tray turnover should have elevated the quality higher than it was. Perhaps low attendance on weeknights is causing food inventory to be held longer than it should in order to protect profit. This is a shame, for we looked forward to enjoying it. This is definitely the best Chinese buffet in the county. We live in Toms River and this is usually our go-to if we're looking for a buffet. The food could definitely be warmer but the hibachi grill is great and their crab legs are significantly larger than any other Chinese buffet in the area. Unfortunately it takes them a while to restock and people act like vultures. They stand at the empty tray and attack and then you're stuck waiting all over again. For some reason, their crab legs (while better and fuller than elsewhere) often don't agree with my stomach. Slightly concerning. To begin my first experience, a few of my friends and I went to the harvest buffet and we had to wait 5-10 minutes even though there were many of open tables. While we were waiting some Chinese dude started cursing us out in Chinese (I understand Chinese so I knew what he was saying). According to my friends the coke did not have any syrup and was just dyed sugar water. The sprite tasted like sugar water. No carbonation just sugar and water. On my 3rd plate my fat friend gio juked a little kid out and there was food all over the place. French fries, jello and tons of pizza. Someone started throwing jello at the people at our table. The food area had plates of ice cream all over it and the floor. I saw the hibachi guy pick his balls and not wash his hands. Then I saw a waiter seduce a couple and try to slide into the wife's dms. Total we got 35 plates then we left. The waiter hovered over our heads as we were tipping and we could not pay in cash. Right before we left we got a cone of ice cream to pose for a pic outside, as I was getting my ice cream I heard some old dude fart really loud and really fucking wet. The bathrooms were really wet and there was a cum shot on the mirror, it could have been spit but I don't know. There was a packet of tartar sauce in the bathroom that was in the toilet bowl. There was also a fat shit inside of the other toilet bowl. After we all left we went to ShopRite across the street to get sparklers. We fired them about 150 feet away from the restaurant, as we were leaving one of the sparklers started lighting up again. It was the ghost of Genghis Khan that lit them up again, the people at the Chinese buffet have the power to bring back a dead dude, make people sick, make bad food, then light sparklers again. A few hours later me and a few friends were throwing up after this. Their food sucks and made me and some friends sick. Might come back because of Genghis Khan though. read more

Chinese buffets are meant to be filled with high sodium, fried food and lots of crab legs, shrimp and dessert choices. Right? Well, afternoons here are just full of the traditional buffet stuff minus the crab legs and hot food. Stuff was warm, reheated possibly and lacking in any sorta variety. This place is amazing! First, when you walk in, it had all these cool trees and Chinese lanterns. Secondly, you can get food quicker because it's a BUFFET! Third, the food is AMAZING! Fried Shrimp, Pizza, Steak, French Fries, Rice and Noodles, you name it! Lastly, there is a whole dessert bar! Some of these desserts are Jello, Cheesecake, and soft and hard ice cream. My daughters always get the crab legs said they tasted odd. When my husband complained to the owner he blew it off. Had our waitress bring our check immediately.
