I've only ever had great meals here! There's a little something for everyone and I love that my girls can eat free until they're 3 and the rate is small and increases every year after that ($0.75/yr I think?). Much better than paying $8 or more at other places when they eat so little to begin with. The staff is very friendly and professional but are super nice and interact with my girls as well. Harvest Buffet puts out fresh food often not like some Chinese Buffets that let food sit there forever. They have a good sushi bar in the evenings never been there for lunch but dinners are very good. Hibachi chef is very good. read more

I give them 2 stars because the times I have come on the weekends it has been awesome BUT this last time I came during lunch and I don't think I will ever be able to go back after my awful experience. NOTHING was fresh whatsoever and nothing looked like it had been changed over in hours. It was around 2-3 pm and they open around 11 so it should've been changed at least 2x. But factor in the price of a dinner buffet of about $15/ adult and I won't be coming back here. My whole family loves this place. The have typical chinese buffet foods, along with fresh made sushi, and made to order Mongolian bbq. The service is always good, the waitresses are always nice and helpful, and I've never been disappointed in the quality or freshness of the food. Love coming here! It can be a quick meal or you can eat for hours. They constantly turn over the food so you know it's fresh. They have a huge selection including traditional dishes, Mongolian grill, sushi, and a dessert bar (including hard and soft ice cream!). Went to this buffet because the one closer to home was closed food was terrible the Mac n cheese tasted like anti freeze with a spice in it. The crab legs were like pulling apart a rubber band and at the hibachi or Mongolian grill the meat was all frozen and they couldn't even properly put together my order right. Very nice while I'm not big on buffets I love steamed clams and I ate a few dozen. Plus the prime rib was a surprise and was tasty.

Food is tasty however and it is always cold. Staff does not speak English so it very hard to get service. Have mentioned to management several times about the temperature of food, but it remains the same. Thinking about contacting the Ocean County Board of Health Dept. about this matter. We go here a lot with the kids. Price is great, except you have to pay additional for apple juice. My kids do not drink soda, and they say the water tastes funny. Everything stays pretty fresh, and always tastes great. The staff is friendly and they make really neat birthday plates!! read more

This place is absolutely horrible! The staff and overall place was disgusting. The food was stale chicken wasn't cooked and overall made me want to throw up! I asked to speak to a manager the women told me there was no manger or anyone in charge, then later proceeded to go get a manager. Me and my two friends expressed we weren't happy with our meals that we didn't eat anything and the place still wanted to charge us the full price but only gave us 12 dollars off a 53 dollar order that we ate nothing. Will NEVER return! Absolutely disgusting, the staff is rude and I will let that be known. They rip you off and then go talk bad about you to each other! Save your money go to a better Chinese restaurant absolutely ridiculous!!!!! Well I had to go , and see this place for myself, but was not that impressed with the food. Crab legs were small, pork fried rice was ok. The Stuffed Crab Shells had no crab meat in it. They were suppose to have prime rib but didn't , they had Roast Beef instead , and was tuff. The stuff shrimp was good, and most of all the food was just warm, and not hot. The egg drop soup was ok, and the steamed dumplings were good. The deserts were just ok , ice cream tasted watered down, cream puffs were just ok, but the cookies were better. read more

Beware of the scam! Clearly posted when you walk into the restaurant it's states lunch prices until 3:30 PM... After 3:30 PM dinner prices take affect. We arrived at 3 PM but charged dinner prices because they claim we took a dinner item from the buffet... Nowhere in this establishment is there anything stating what our dinner items... We were told by the gentleman upfront that it should have been explained to us by our waitress... Our waitress does not even speak English Because of the shady pricing structure I will never go to this establishment again! It was a decent buffet. There was an interesting selection but it was primarily seafood. Although all the dishes were pretty good there was nothing that stood out besides their buttered shrimp dishes. Also there was not many Chinese dishes at all and for being a Chinese Buffet that is never a good thing. This used to be our go-to place for a Chinese buffet, but after a recent visit, it went downhill so fast it is unbelievable. They are looking like their old buffet that closed down in Lacey years ago... just a matter of time before this one is done also. It's okay, decent variety, low meat quality but what do you expect out of a buffet. I LOVE THE CHINESE DONUTS AT ALL BUFFETS BUT HERE. they let their donuts go cold without a heat lamp. Once I asked them to heat some up and they did, today when I asked the server came back laughing with nuked Chinese donuts that looked like they were in the microwave for a minute...she thought it was funny, we didnt. They used to be good. Not anymore. I go there for the crab legs but last couple of times (last time was Thursday of last week), they weren't refilling the crab legs and when they do; there are barely enough crab legs for two people to eat. Most of my time there the crab container was empty. Then people were lined up waiting to get them. I felt I was paying too much when you can't eat what you want and waiting or asking for it became a nightmare since all of the sudden nobody understand the language. My husband and I go here at least 2X a month and last Sunday we went for lunch with my son and daughter-in-law. We each got up to get our food and when we went up for seconds, the foods we had either had a 'Dinner Item' sign in front of them or they were replaced! Was not happy about that....so now forced to eat items we didn't want.....my husband then went up and got a couple of crabs, not the legs or claws, and as soon as he sat down girl came over and told him that was dinner item! My husband told her there was no sign there and told her to take his plate, which she did and tossed them in the garbage! She could have told him ok, our mistake and let him eat them....but I guess throwing them out was ok!!?? Needless to say we won't be going there anymore..besides the fact that 3 of us got extremely nauseous....maybe from dirty utensils handled by everyone!! read more

Best buffet in Ocean County! You will not be disappointed! The sushi is fresh and they have quite an assortment. There are many desserts to choose from. The Chinese food is refilled often- I never had to wait for something. Soda is crisp, and seafood is fresh at dinner time. read more
