Not a bad spot. This was a good cup of coffee. Flavor was good. Aroma of the coffee was really good. Vibe is average I would say, but not bad.

I LOVE this place. I come as often as i can to sit and do a quiet time. The coffee is consistently good. The use homemade sugar infused with flavors instead of over processed syrup which i appreciate. Great service, great coffee, great place atmosphere. Couldn't recommend more

"Coffee is the best way to start your day!" Yeah not if it's from harvest. I could get better coffee from 7-11.

Their onion rings are superb -- they've got that bulkiness you look for and were very fresh when they came out. There's an up cost to change certain things but nothing crazy. The best day to come for a burger is probably Tuesday's because they have a couple bucks off then. Other than that they've got some drink specials but we don't drink. We brought our kids and they both got the flatbread pizza which is a great option for kids, but they couldn't eat it all. They also have a kids menu and said they'll try that next time. All in all, great little place with a good atmosphere. It's a bit small and I'd imagine it gets super busy on game nights and when kids are in full swing for the semester. But this is the summer time. The waitress was ok... we told her it's our first time here and she offered zero feedback. I was a little surprised but she was attentive enough keeping up with our refills that I kinda got over it. They also have some lunch specials I'll consider coming back for.

If you worship at the Altar of Sourdough, I have found the Gates of Bread Heaven…read more I have sourdough across this Land from Florida to California and THIS is the best flavored sourdough I have ever had in my decades of eating. The crust has a chew to it that is firm but gives way soon enough after biting. What it gives way to is a crumb that is soft, textured and smells like a double dose of sourdough yeast. The starter is at least 25 years old and boy howdy, it really packs a punch. So much so, I asked an employee there if they sold starter. I would have bought some to use and grow at home. Enough about their star item ... let's go over the lunch I enjoyed there yesterday (15May26, got a free cookie on their birthday). I had their Crawfish Mac and Cheese in a bread bowl. The pasta was curly and cooked al-dente, as any pasta should be. The pieces of crawfish had a slight, very slight dusting of bread crumbs on them that added a nice texture to the forkful of pasta and creamy cheesiness that is a hallmark of mac n cheese. Needless to say, I managed to finish the contents of the bowl (the plug of bread removed is also served) and about half of the wonderful bread bowl before forcing myself to just stop. The remains were dutifully doggie bagged and brought with me as a snack to be enjoyed on the drive home. I will be in College Station many times over the next four years and when there, Blue Baker is definitely on my list of places to get great bread and a good lunch. There are three in Aggieland, so try them all if you are nearby. Ciao, Darrell

We were BLOWN AWAY by the number of college students, dressed in their Sunday's best, openly praying over their food before enjoying some awesome chicken. It was SO NICE TO SEE! We ordered a family meal (20 pieces), 2 sides of fries and a chicken sandwich meal. We paid around $40. Great value! The food came out quick and arrived hot and fresh. I had a slight "issue" where I thought my chicken wasn't fully cooked and the manager reassured me that it was just breading but happily remade my sandwich to give me peace of mind. I REALLY appreciated that. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meals, literally leaving "not a fry left behind." The size of my chicken on the sandwich was HUGE- had to be hanging off the roll by 2" on each side! Staff were phenomenal. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. Love the laid back decor. Plenty of seating inside and some tables outdoors as well. Definitely recommend!

The Cookshack has a different vibe and feels more like a lunch or dinner spot, while Mess is the perfect breakfast place. Alright, who am I reviewing again? Right. The Cookshack has some great options, and my wife and I went for the Chicken & Waffles. I chose the hottest seasoning they had--pretty sure it was ghost pepper--and yeah, it was spicy but didn't make me miserable. There was a lot of food, and it definitely filled us up. My wife got mac n cheese with hers and really enjoyed every bite. The cashier was nice and attentive. The atmosphere is great for a lunch or dinner date. Plus, they have large booths, which we really appreciate.

Brookshire brothers is a beautiful grocery store that is so enjoyable to shop in, wonderful staff who are so cared for- their stories of employment there are so beautiful, it causes me catharsis every time I BB comes to mind. They have a wide selection of everything you need grocery wise. From the general unhealthy foods and snacks that most Americans won't sacrifice, to the ultra clean, minimal ingredients products me and all my mom friends prefer. The fresh cut meat looked so good today that I felt regret for my last purchase of meat proteins (from HEB). Their sirloins were so beautiful they stopped me in my tracks. Will definitely be buying my meat there next time. I almost didn't wanna leave this review because, selfishly, I don't want the masses to find the golden gems (lol), however, I would not be settled in my integrity if I were to gatekeep the glory of BB. Lastly, the culture of BB is "pro-kids". They host amazing events for kids. I'm so proud of them because they are taking action to end the old narrative of "children should be seen and not heard". As a business professional, I know you can only cultivate that type of environment when the core energy has a high moral standard. I see that standard reflected in all parts of their establishment. They have earned my respect and have earned my business. Brava Brookshire Brothers! Amazing work, thank you!
