This rating is only for the quality of the coffee, not for the ambience and all that jazz. They pull solid shots and they know what they are doing. You can taste it in the coffee. Unfortunately, this was one of the worst lattes I've had in quite some time. Their "syrup" was just granulated sugar which sunk to the bottom of the cup. The photos posted are exactly how I received the drink after walking out (you can see the chunks of sugar). I even went back in to confirm this was their vanilla syrup (and not stevia or some other raw sugar packet that was dumped into it) and the barista said yes. Would not ever recommend getting their iced vanilla latte. Not to mention the fact that the coffee just tasted like milk. Very disappointed. read more

This has become my new go-to coffee shop! Fast wifi, enough seating, good lighting make it a nice wfh spot. The food isn't their strong spot (not the most flavorful), but does the job. However, their drinks are great! The coffee is good, but I personally come back for the chai and matcha. I agree with the former reviews that the matcha was too milky/barely green, but I tried it again and they've definitely improved since then! The oat milk they use is also so creamy. To refer to a potential vendors food to their dog's excrement is beyond disrespectful and very unprofessional. The owner didn't stop there. They continued to berate this potential vendor by harassing them after receiving one star reviews for the establishment. Blaming the potential vendor for their bad service. To the owner. Word of mouth travels fast. No one should stay silent when being mistreated. So if you didn't want people finding out the truth about the way you treat people. Then you should find a way to be accountable and apologize to the community. Your outlook and attitude towards people is horrible. We love the quality of the product here and have had a reasonably good customer experience in the past, so this is more a criticism of the management: Please -- augment and train your staff! Husband ordered a breve latte with 4 shots. Was charged for this plus a single shot, which came out in a separate cup. I ordered an Oxford Haze, described in menu as black and gold tea "with sugar and a cloud of textured milk," which I think most literate people would assume meant foamed or steamed. Tea came out in a 12-oz cup with a giant iced-tea size bag left in, bitter and over-brewed with no milk and no sweetener. Took it back in and explained I had ordered an Oxford Haze but this had nothing in it, and the barista, who seemed to be in her own haze, said "oh I'm sorry, it just said black" and dumped in a sugar packet and some oat milk straight out of the carton. I asked, "Isn't it supposed to be steamed or foamed?" and got "No, we don't do cold foam or anything like that in those." This was a quiet Sunday afternoon with no crowd and no line, so there was no excuse for this lack of service and attention to/knowledge of the menu. They should have remade both our drinks or refunded us, but neither was offered. Call me Karen (I'll call you clueless), but this poor-to-nonexistent customer service is typical of businesses in college towns with student staff and a captive market. I could more easily overlook the shortfalls if I felt that the business was helping students by giving them jobs, but Harvest could help them more by teaching them sufficient skills to at least be employable at Starbucks -- and hiring more of them. Service and staffing levels have deteriorated with the installation of self-service ordering terminals since the first time we visited Harvest in 2023. I would much prefer to interact with sentient humans who know and understand the menu. Shame on management for what feels like a bungled attempt at cost-cutting. read more

Stopped by on a Sunday morning with a friend. Our lattes were good. I was excited about the avocado toast but it was pretty mediocre. Usually at other spots, the bread is some sort of hearty seeded or artisan bread. This felt like toasted normal wheat with avocado spread. Fruity, nutty with a thin, crispy, dark chocolate shell on the bottom - will definitely buy that again. The coffee, though... I can only give that one star. It's all about the espresso for me, and Harvest Coffee bar pulled some very nice espresso shots for me recently. Good coffee is vital when I am on the road, and Harvest hit the mark. Parking was convenient, the baristas were friendly, and my quad latte came out quickly and well-prepared. Harvest is a step up from the usual Starbucks or Dutch Bros in quality. If you care about the beans and the espresso (and aren't just ordering a sweet milkshake type drink), then this is a great spot. read more

I really like this place I come almost every day either morning or lunch. The cappuccino and drip coffee are excellent. Additionally for lunch I always get the pesto chicken sandwich or the chicken salad sandwich which are reasonably priced (7-8$). "Coffee is the best way to start your day!" Yeah not if it's from harvest. I could get better coffee from 7-11.

My favorite coffee shop by far. The best atmosphere with the kindest employees, who began to know my name and order after a semester of going there. Not only that, there hot coffee is *chef's kiss*. The lattes are served at just the right temp and perfectly frothed milk. The cortados (love me some butterscotch cortado) are actually served correctly - in a shot glass/small mug, and, also, have perfectly frothed milk. {I am no coffee expert, but I know what I like & it is far from Starbucks} Then, don't even get me started, on the food. The chicken pesto sandwich is delightful, as is the chicken salad (served on top of salad or as a sandwich) and the breakfast sandwiches. My cousin LOVES the avocado toast with the onions (possibly pickled?) on top, but I have yet to try that since I have other favorites. The harvest in Bryan is where is at, being that it is in cute, historic downtown bryan; the one in century square is a whole different vibe (more modern), that is not so much my taste, though the food/drink are still good there. I went once in early September and my coffee was half full and had no flavor. The double chocolate danish I had was good, but not worth the price. I had decided to never come back, even with how charming atmosphere, but gave it one more chance in early November. Do not support this business. Please also alert your college students to not work for Harvest Coffee. The owner has an unstable personality. He does not pay employees within legal parameters and lies to them about what their pay rate will be when they are hired. The owner also keeps the tips that the employees earn through credit card payments. Some of the employees have worked there 2 months without receiving any payment at all. The employees (who are broke college students) are treated disrespectfully and get taken advantage of. The wife of the owner seems unaware of the way her husband unethically manages their business. The food that I got there was subpar!!!! Overpriced, over cooked and cardboard would have been tastier. Coffee was good, however over priced. The staff was friendly and helpful. I just wasted my money eating "New Orleans" inspired taste, Louisiana would be embarrassed with that claim. I have better tasting food at McDonald's and I can not stand that food. I didn't even finish my dish. I spent over $50.00 and all I got was heartburn. If you see this place just go across the street to Freddy's. At least you can get a shake. One of my favorite local coffee chains. They are not afraid to experiment and it's always an experience I won't find boring. Some drinks might be an acquired taste but I keep coming back after a while of not getting anything like it anywhere else. My favorite it's the Honey bee coffee but I also liked some of the other specialty coffees available. It is my favorite coffee place, but I will rate 4/5 as I feel some of the flavor profiles won't have the mass appeal as other coffee shops. It means something to me though, a Latina forever disappointed by most lattes, that it could never be bland. read more

This is one of my favorite coffee spots in College Station! The staff is the nicest and coffee is always good! It is one of the few places that doesn't over sweeten their drinks. I also HIGHLY recommend the adult grilled cheese. I have tried multiple times to replicate this at home and it is never as good. They also have lots of seating options and decent WiFi.
