My wife and I have very similar names, which likely contributed to the confusion. I calmly explained this to the front desk and was completely respectful throughout. The administrative assistant then went back and cried, even though I did not raise my voice or insult her -- I was simply stating the facts about the scheduling error. After that, Dr. Middlebrook approached me aggressively, gave curt one-word responses, blamed my wife for the error, and spoke to me in a condescending and unprofessional manner. No apology was offered, and no attempt was made to accommodate me despite the mistake being entirely administrative. I would not recommend Dr. Middlebrook or this office for advanced dental care. I was able to secure care at another office the same day without issue. No patient should be treated this way.

He doesn't hurry and is what could be said is a "sweet man" in a non-pejorative way. He takes care of my grandchildren and they look forward to going to the dentist. Unbelievable. He also takes care of the rest of my rather large extended family. I'm 76 years old and have had a lot of work done on my teeth. I had a particularly difficult time with some of my upper back teeth that were about half eaten away. I'm very reluctant to spend a lot of money on teeth at my age. Two other dentists have tried to fix me up but we're only marginally successful. Dr. Takkar filled those puppies with some high-powered amalgam with a smooth finish and problem solved. He did this job flawlessly. It's been fine for over a year. His office staff are as nice as he is. There is a very "family like" atmosphere. My trips have been very reasonable in price. He took my insurance and has a plan of his own to offer. The place is really clean. The office is about a mile from where I live and is easy to find. He's in a strip center off of the north side of White Street (FM 455) near The Anna Disc Center just east of the Walmart complex.
