Blackened Salmon and Caesar with a Bahama Mama! Excellent!

Continues to impress! Love this place. Food, service and camaraderie are second to none! The Chef's Caesar dressing and the secret blackened salmon spices are awesome! We enjoy this place every time we come!

We've had some good meals there over the years, however our recent visit might be our last, unfortunately. I ordered fried scallops, which is one of my favorite meals. When the meals arrived I couldn't believe what was put in front of me! The fried scallops looked like salmon croquettes or jalapeño poppers. They were dark brown and oddly shaped. I took my fork to cut the first one in half, and the batter just fell off the scallop. The layer of batter was around 3/32 of an inch thick! The "New Bedford scallops were light gray in color, not very appetizing. That's all I will say about the scallops. The fries were good. They have two choices, train or find another cook.

This is our go-to when we are tired as hell from work and just want to go to a place nearby that A. We can get a seat quick B. Offer a home cooked-esque meal . There are some great items on the menu! The burgers are excellent, as well the fish and grilled steak. The salads are terrific too, even my meat N' potatoes husband loves the salads especially the casear which he claims the dressing is legit! I usually get the House Salad with either chicken or steak, either way delicious. Sometimes I get the Chick Pea Saute which is delicious and I order with a side of feta cheese. Also the baked fish with the Ritz crackers are great too. Parking in the back and across the street. Nice friendly service. Reasonable prices.

I got the spicy ramen and my partner got the chicken non spicy one, please refer to pics as I forgot the name... highly recommend getting the chicken ramen, the broth is light and savory, additionally lots of protein and veggies to make it the perfect ramen bowl. The spicy ramen was okay, I love spice but this one was a bit starchy as if too much starch was used to thicken the broth. The noodles were also way too soft; and there's very little protein. I got beansprout as an add on and that was $2; a bit much if added onto the bowl.

Our food arrived fairly quickly as well. All of the staff are very friendly & attentive. The space is cool, very relaxing & open. As for the food, it was very, very SALTY. The mussels were good but once you reach the bottom of the bowl it was salty. The flavor of the wings were good but also salty. The ramen was also extremely salty as well so it seems like everything they make here is just overall on the salty side. If they just lessened every dish on that part, it would be perfect. But especially the ramen was very hard to eat without drinking 5 cups of water. The shirley temple was delicious tho! Food is 3/5 but service is a 5/5. So I will say the service definitely saved the rating from 3 stars.

With the rain and wind outside, we hoped the restaurant might be a little quieter than usual. That thought disappeared the moment we turned into the parking lot. We grabbed the first open space we saw and headed for the door. Score! We snagged the last window table just as another party was leaving. Choosing the first pizza was easy. Their Polpette (meatball) pizza has long been my perennial favorite. Since it was Two-for-Tuesday, though, we decided to branch out and try their Eggplant Pizza as our second pie. Our waitress was friendly and attentive. Waters appeared almost immediately, and despite the restaurant already bustling, both pizzas arrived surprisingly quickly. Perhaps that's because Volturno bakes its Neapolitan-style pizzas in a 900° wood-fired oven using dried oak, where they cook in just 60 to 90 seconds. Both pizzas arrived piping hot with tasty thin crusts and were cooked perfectly. There was just one problem--the Eggplant Pizza was so good that it ended in a dead heat with my preferred Polpette. That's high praise. More than half a pizza came home with us, but little was left by the end of the night. If you haven't tried Volturno you're missing out on some great pizza, whether it's Tuesday or any other day of the week.
