Ordered fish & chips and Ruben for lunch. Two large pieces of cod were golden but undercooked.. Ruben had a minimum amount of cornbeef. Dishes included plenty of shoestring fries. The Pad Thai was just not desirable at all. It was like a pickled microwave soup mess. It was $2 extra to make it authentic with rice noodles which I found off putting. Perhaps not the type of cuisine forte at this establishment. But, pad thai is my favorite food so I had to try it. I felt obligated to eat it since the place was so pricey. The tropical smoothie was great though. My partner had the farmers salad and it was just okay. Overall, overpriced and might need some revamping to the items to make them worth the trip. I ordered the Buddha bowl with grilled shrimp. What a disappointment. The main problem was that 2/3 of the bowl was half -cooked rice noodles that were cold, chewy, and flavorless. About as appetizing as wallpaper paste. The shrimp may have been grilled, but they arrived cold, flavorless, except for an off aftertaste, that left me wondering if I was going to have gastrointestinal issues later. Fortunately, I did not. The stingy helping of chickpeas, squash, spinach, and avocado tasted OK, but hardly justified the $20.50 price of this very, very disappointing dish. read more

This is a cute little restaurant/apothocary in downtown Canal Winchester. They have indoor and bar seating available with some outdoor covered patio seating. We ate inside, and were seated right away. They had some fantastic seasonal drinks on their menu. I ordered a iced pumpkin chai. I was a bit disappointed as it didn't taste like chai at all and more like coffee. I am not a coffee drinker and did not see anywhere in the description that it had coffee in it. The drink was bitter. However, I also ordered the ruben sandwich with fries. This did not let me down. Our food came out hot and was delicious. I ended up eating the whole meal. It wasn't large portions but just enough. Afterwards we strolled through the little apothocary store. They had a variety of health supplements, tinctures, bulk jar items and drinks available. So this is the first spot I brought my wife to, finally after getting settled our new home state. What an introduction to good food, friendly service, very nice atmosphere of the downtown Canal Winchester area. We took a nice stroll of the area, and couldn't ask for more of a pleasant area to have a nice lunch. Immediately the service was very friendly, the establishment was very clean, the vibe was hip. We liked it right off the bat. My wife is a bison fan, and this burger delivered, juicy, plump, bun was soft and warm, and you could tell the greens in the burger had to be local fresh. I had the spicy chicken sandwich, and will definitely order this again on our next visit. The filet of chicken was juicy, not over the top spicy, and the portion of food was spot on. We love the outside dining area this place has to offer to guests, especially just to enjoy lunch, relax, and watch the the area. We will definitely be coming back to visit. read more

Driving back to Columbus 6 of us stopped in after a girls trip to Hocking Hills. The space is so cute! The server and bartender were super friendly. Drinks were great, we ordered 3 Bloody Mary's, 1 Irish coffee, 1 mimosa and 1 espresso martini. The single suggestion on drinks is to please offer garnishes on the bloodys :) Breakfast food was excellent, table ordered the biscuits and gravy, hash, breakfast burrito and pancakes. Would make a nice space to study/work remote, dinner with friends and we're looking forward to warmer months when the cutest patio opens back up.. There's also a small apothecary selling local and healthy products. Highly recommend! read more

Less than awesome experience. Here were some less than great examples.. Tried to order one entree and was told they were out. Then tried to order another one and they were out. Finally frustrated, I asked them what else were they out of and they pointed out yet another item that they were out of. Could they just have said welcome, but unfortunately we are out of these three items. I settled on one item that was overcooked and dry. Not a big fan of paying a fee for using charge card. I am a business traveler and I am not carrying tons of cash. Table was not steady. They could have turned up the heat. Froze my butt off. Had seasonal drink - kind if cheap on the pour. Stopped in for a quick work lunch and got this beautiful salad w/ salmon. Absolutely delicious, the high top tables are a little wobbly and the ambiance is a bit different with a vitamin store or something like that when you walk in and then to the right is the restaurant. Okay food, some unique choices. They do need to step up with some additional new items. Every time we go, the menu is small and the same things. Please do something about your Simple Salad! It's terrible! I am totally against places that serve iceberg lettuce and call it a salad. Iceberg is Crap! That being said, Harvest Moon's salad is the 180 opposite. The greens are so rough that it's difficult to enjoy. A few times I just picked out the diced tomatoes and cucumbers. Consider using something more like Butter, Boston or Romaine. One time I had a nightmare about being forced to eat their salad. I woke up from being passed-out face down on my front lawn. I had a mouth-full of grass and dandelion leaves. I mean it's so rough, Chuck Norris won't eat it. read more

We just moved to the area and saw they had live music. The music was very good the service excellent and my food was great. We sat at the bar and had a drink then ordered sandwiches. I had the veggie burger with fries and my husband the Reuben with fries. I don't eat meat so can't speak as to the quality of his sandwich but he said it was good also remarking that the slices of meat were a bit too big. Our fries were crisp and hot. My Kentucky Mule was great. The selection of local brews is good and we will need return and try them. We learned the owner of the restaurant also owns a local brewery. Jo, the barista was amazing! I stopped in to grab a coffee and noticed the Sugarplummed special. She told me that it was a house made syrup and even let me taste it before I ordered. We went for lunch, on a Wednesday, and had the absolute worst service we've ever experienced at a restaurant. We understand busy and we're good to always consider that with an inattentive server. This was not that. Luke warm mediocre coffee (no refill on our "bottomless" cup of joe), only one of us was awarded silverware-after we asked for it, our simple salad (not good) came 20 minutes after we ordered, our server never checked back with us once, we had to go ask another server for our bill, and she was less than pleasant. Big thumbs down on service! Big thumbs down on the coffee (and the dumb mugs they use). Two thumbs up for the food. The Rueben and Fish and chips were delicious. If you're in a hurry this place isn't for you, very slow service. I ordered traditional breakfast, my original order came with a hair in the eggs, the toast was cold. Pretty darn good! I was in canal Winchester and my boss lives there so he decided to treat me to breakfast. The place looks small from the outside but it's actually quite roomy. I sat in the back and was a bit floored when I noticed my server wasn't wearing a mask. I look again and all of the staff is without a mask. So that's why they're getting 4 stars. Aside from that, the food was great! I had a 3 egg omelette with mushrooms and onion. Black coffee served in a tea pot is brilliant and cute. Service was great, server was great, food was great. Got a side of Brussels sprouts and they were not seasoned even slightly. Used to love this place and the quality was just not there this time. This is exactly the kind of place I would love to see in downtown Hilliard. It's cute, quirky, and has a fabulous menu. They serve 3 meals a day and have a bar. We were in the area for a gymnastics meet Saturday night and wanted to find a place for dinner afterwards. A Yelp search led to 3 options on N. High St. in Canal. We walked into Shade on the Canal and it was pretty busy. We were not given a wait time, but were told to check out the menu because it was limited. They had some sections marked off. Weird. It was pretty much bar food. We left to walk down the street to Harvest Moon. There was a wine place across the street and that would have been our next stop, but we were seated immediately in Harvest Moon. It was busy too, but there was a table for two ready for us. Great timing. A cool server took our drink orders and brought waters. The hibiscus cosmo was a first for me. It went down easily. There were so many great options on the menu that I had difficulty deciding. Veggie burgers, chicken dishes, flatbreads, salads, vegan pad thai...I narrowed it down to the Turkey Pear & Brie sandwich with a side salad. Delish. My husband got his side salad to start, then the fish & chips. He loved it all. I so want to come back. It was our kind of place. read more

This is another place that made me wish Yelp would allow half stars. It's not quite a 3 star, but it isn't quite a 4 either. The menu was good with a lot of healthy options and a scratch kitchen. It has a health food store attached to the restaurant and you can get a discount if you share your receipt. I enjoyed the Brussels sprout and pear salad. If I came again, I'd try the black bean burger that sounded equally good. It's a little small and the service was okay, but not great but overall not a bad spot for a quick lunch. read more

It is a cute restaurant and all the staff were pretty friendly, however, our experience was terrible. We arrived around 1pm on a Saturday afternoon and there were about 4-5 tables empty the entire time we were there. It took them 30 minutes to ask for our order and another hour to get the food out. I ordered the chicken and waffles and it was extremely dry. The flavor of the chicken was good, but there wasn't anything to go with it so it felt like I was eating saltine crackers. My husband ordered the pulled pork Mac and cheese and felt like they used sweet baby rays bbq sauce. Nothing special about it. Also they didn't give us an itemized receipt so we didn't know what we were getting charged for. We wished we picked a different place for lunch. read more
