First, let me say that the bartender was amazing. She was sweet, attentive, and very helpful. I also really liked the dance floor. But that aside, two sodas and two meals was over $50 before the tip. One of the single worst dining experiences I've ever had, ever. We went for the AYCE crab legs and it was apparent from the moment we walked in that they were woefully unprepared for such an event. People were coming in and no one from the restaurant were greeting anyone or telling us where to go, sit ect. We had to go to the bar and ask along with everyone else coming in. We sat for 20 minutes before anyone even came over, some tables sat for over 30 minutes before anyone came to the table. Almost every table was complaining about wait times and lack of service. They imposed a 2 hour limit for each table which would be fine however we, along with every other table were waiting over 30 minutes for each refill. The crab was overcooked, very salty and cold. I've eaten a lot of AYCE crab and this was by far the worst I've ever had. None of the meat would come out in full pieces and it was more trouble than it was worth. We got no drink refills and had to go to the bar for our drinks. They automatically added a 20% tip for the server and a 5% convenience charge to use a credit card. The whole experience was highly disappointing and felt like a scam. People started talking among tables and it was clear the vast majority were very upset. They could care less that my family and I were there. Grouchy service, mediocre food. Came in on a Sunday late afternoon during playoff football. Sat right down at the bar, but took forever to get a drink. 2 or 3 bartenders, none very attentive and no one smiling or acting like they're happy to be here. Eventually ordered a burger and fries. The burger was decent, but the fries were cold to the touch. They took them back and after about 10 minutes (burger was gone), the fries returned. They were hot, bit not crisp. Tonight we came to see our niece play with her band for The School Of Rock. Our experience was absolutely awful. The place was crowded, which was to be expected. We were there not even 5 minutes before a bartender rudely pushed passed my 8 YEAR OLD DAUGHTER cussing about her being in the way. (we had just got to the table and we were trying to get situated and sat down) I was blatantly ignored for over 15 minutes waiting to just ORDER drinks at the bar. Wished we had read the reviews on AYCE crab legs before we went last night. Crab legs were very small and they gave us a two hour window to eat them. This place seems to be very hit or miss on their food quality. I've had some incredibly delicious wings here, and other times they are rubbery or not sauced very well. Fries are average and most other dishes I've had also fall on the average range. Stopped in for a lunch with friends and the place was next to empty on a football Sunday. We sat at the bar and had a group of younger guys (early 20's) that we're loud and obnoxious but hey what ever it's a bar right. The bar tender was nice and got our drinks quick and gave us menus that were very sticky kinda disgusting. She gave us good tips on the what food was good and such, the burgers are good not going to lie I was not expecting that tasty of a burger from this place and the sandwich was very good and was presented well. Poor management is bad for business! The so-called manager has a sense of entitlement, is cocky & rude. I understand a cover charge, but when he knew the band was done in less than a half hour, why not half price or even free also, let the patrons know before taking their $10 (x3). I personally know the band & even they were surprised we were charged. This band has a huge following, packed at every venue (most don't charge a cover) but because there weren't many people there, maybe 60, they needed to charge $10 hoping it would pay for the band! Harvest Saloon (formerly Cleats) is one of my go-to neighborhood bars, primarily out of convenience, and for one of the nicest bartenders you'll ever meet, Amy. I had a hard time scoring this place due to my own attachment to it, but honesty has to take precedence over bias. During my four years living in the area, Harvest Saloon saw a great decline when it was Cleats, but has recently been renamed, is now under new ownership, andI I can only assume they're looking to make a resurgence to compete with the other local bar down the block in essentially the same strip mall. This will be no easy task, but I'm rooting for them! The new ownership faces the basic chicken or the egg conundrum. Should they gut the place and completely redecorate? Should they offer more drink specials to bring in the crowds? Live music? Game night? Karaoke? Unfortunately, I don't have those answers either. What I can suggest, however, is that they find an identity. Here's what I mean: The domestic beers are just as cold as the domestic beers down the street. The liquor behind the bar is the same as well. So what's different? Identity. Define what sets this place apart from the other guy's. This hasn't been done yet. When you're in a competitive business, such as a bar or restaurant, having an identity is key. For now, Harvest Saloon is just a bar. They've changed the menu, which is a start, but it's still lacking refinement and an identity. Unless this changes in the near future, I'm afraid it won't last very long. I'll keep going as it's convenient and I root for the underdog, but as it stands right now, I couldn't recommend Harvest Saloon to anyone else. read more

I can't stand this place. My girlfriend and I both like country music. This is the only watering hole around marketing itself as a country hangout. The food is alright. The beer is the same as anywhere else. The prices are not terrible. Live entertainment is usually alright. The service is downright terrible. The main bartender must have had a rough decade or two because in my several visits she's never smiled. And believe me she's down to argue about anything. The service is not exactly on-point. If you don't mind waiting 15 minutes for a bartender to acknowledge you, even when there's four other customers in the bar, then I highly recommend this place. Service was friendly and attentive. The steak philly was really good and they have great fries! The kids meal was a good portion as well! I would definitely return and eat here again someday. Cleats is a typical sports with tons of tvs and a huge bar. I order boneless wings and tots, which were relatively decent but over cooked. I ordered 2 beers and to my surprise it was more expensive than the food. Cleats has a lot of specials (i.e. Burgers and brews on Monday, boneless wing and regular wings Tuesday and Wednesday, Rib night Thursday, and Fish Fry Friday). Living in Lima, I was beginning to think Buffalo Wild Wings was the best Ohio had to offer in the way of buffalo wings. Cleats changed all that. Their six-pepper wings are a welcome departure from overly saucy wings. They're spiced in a dry rub with a bit of buttery goodness and allow you to taste Cleats' quality chicken. The mild wings don't carry the overly sweet sauce most restaurants use to drown their chicken. Instead, it's a wonderfully tangy coating of magic. The servers fall into two categories: hot and super-friendly. I saw some young ladies who outspiced my hot wings and met some older ladies whose kindness packed more buzz than the ice-cold Miller Lites I was pounding. The restaurant itself is a bit darker than most Buffalo Wild Wings, and the clientele skews a bit older, so expect better behavior and a touch more family-friendliness. Everytime I give this place a chance, I regret it. If your just going for drinks and to catch a game, this place is sufficient. However, I constantly have issues with the food. Not only do they go through cooks left and right (which explains why my food is never prepped as on the menu), but every time I stop in there is a new manger as well. At my most recent visit, I got the steak tacos and the steak was so gross I could not even bite through it. Then, the manager would not even come over to apologize! I came to this Cleat's location with my wife before a movie the other night. We weren't expecting much considering it was a bar with some booths scattered around it. Our last experience came at the Cleat's location in Parma Heights, and quite frankly it was a joke. We walked in and noticed the setup was completely different to the other Cleat's we had been to. The atmosphere was very warm and nice. They had some type of trivia game going when we got there, so we had some fun trying to figure out the answers. The food was very good. We ordered the nacho tower, and it was a heaping plate of nachos with loads of cheese. I was impressed with how much you got for the price. Had to add chicken for 2 bucks though. The rest of our food was good as well. My burger was cooked just right and tasted great. My wife got the buffalo Mac n cheese and enjoyed it. A very good experience overall.
