We were here catching up with a friend, it was cold for patio weather but warm for inside but we still chose inside cos the interiors were fun and colorful. The staff is quick to service you, not just in terms of seating but also orders and service. We got the trio dip to share with a question blanco, street corn guac and a dirty queso - loved them all, the dirty has a nice kick to it. For mains, I ordered 3 tacos - yuzu butter shrimp, Korean bbq and purple haze, husband ordered a burrito - easy pleasy. Of the tacos I loved the Korean bbq the most the purple haze was decent too, the yuzu butter shrimp was disappointing cos the shrimp seemed overcooked. The husband found his burrito pretty decent as well. I had also ordered a mocktail - mango mint jalapeño was pretty good with a slightest of kick to it. New review. 9/6/2024. We celebrated with lunch for employees and I ordered the new burrito . I ordered the big Papas flower surf tortillas layered with bacon beans and stuff with a Tex mix ground beef. Homemade tater tots cheddar cheese, Romain lettuce, pico de gallo salsa and a southwest salsa and tortilla chips. I had the sauces on the side because I was taking it out and back to work within just a few minutes. The Romain got a little soft still. It was supposed to have cool wrench tortilla strips. But I didn't see it taste them. It was OK butI don't think it would again. I just get the nachos and have everything on the side and that's probably what I'll get next time overall I'll probably still go back because it's one of the restaurants next-door to where I work. read more

Strolled in a Sunday afternoon, got a table quickly. Tall sized margarita was like the serving of 3 margaritas. Nice variety of draft beers. If it wasn't winter time there is a fire house style door that can roll up to allow nice breeze / outdoor feel. Tacos were around $5 each. Visited Condado again with my wife. After our first visit, we were uncertain if we wanted to visit again due to the heat index of their food. We like a little heat, but I guess when it comes to Scoville units, we're wimps. On this visit, upon arrival, we were promptly seated. Our friendly waitress arrived and took our drink requests, which consisted of draft beer. Looking at the menu, we noticed a little fire icon next to 75% of the tacos on the menu, indicating that they're served spicy. Our waitress said we could have the spicy ingredients removed. Instead, I opted to avoid those tacos altogether. We're not a big fan of heat in every bite. As an appetizer, we requested plain old guac (the one without the fire icon next to it). When it was served, it was spicy. It had chopped up fresh jalapenos in it. I would expect the one without the fire icon to have no heat, but that was not the case. I wouldn't say it was hot, but I would say that it had a little heat on it. For dinner, I requested three tacos - the pork taco, the brisket taco, and some midwest taco primarily because they didn't have the fire icon next to them on the menu. When my tacos arrived, they were not spicy. And I was happy about that. They were very tasty with the pork and brisket being my favorites. The midwest taco wasn't lacking ingredients, but it was somehow flavorless. My wife said her tacos were spicy, which she didn't enjoy. But she finished them nonetheless. I think you should have to opt in for spicy tacos, not opt out. The quality of the food and service are excellent. read more

Big difference between Bario and Condado. First, at Bario, you are generally greeted with a basket of chips and a salsa. Condado nothing unless you order something. Next the basket of chips that came when we ordered chorizo quest, came pre crushed (tons of small broken pieces). Next, my wife's taco came out so small. She added rice to the taco (upcharge I believe) and there was hardly any rice (excuse me, how expensive is rice again). She also had barely any of the sauce that she chose (cilantro aioli). Last, the peach flavored margarita didn't taste like peach. And for $10.00 for the drink, this should have been corrected at first mention. I will try Condado another time and I will try a different location than Strongsville, to see if things are different and it was just a fluke at this location. read more

Had a very good lunch here. The guac was good and the tortilla chips it came with were delicious. The nachos were very good, we got them with steak which was spicy but good. We had a variety of tacos. Highlights were the baja shrimp, chicken bacon ranch, pulled pork with cilantro lime aioli. Took my girlfriend out to Condado's, as we love to try different restaurants in the area. Food was good, but I have to say the service was outstanding. David was our server and from the second we arrived, he welcomed us and was making us laugh. I recommend this specific Condado to go on a date to simply because he gave us conversation pieces and made us feel extremely comfortable. This is a super cute restaurant! We got the pineapple guacamole, and the first few bites were pretty good, but after that the pineapple flavor continues to be super strong. Which isn't necessarily a bad thing, but this guac was so sour. I'm used to having guac that is a more mild flavor and is super creamy and would soothe your mouth from other flavors. But this was just way too sour for my liking. I did really like the chips though. They're a lot thicker and harder than any other tortilla chips I've had but I liked them and they were salted nicely. We also ordered rice and bean bowls that are very reminiscent of Chipotle. But the sauces are so important because I ordered one sauce and it kind of got lost in the bowl. I couldn't taste it much, or anything much really, there wasn't that much flavor, and the bowl overall was kind of dry. Just walking into this restaurant you are completely mesmerized by color, imagery as well as bring it down to earth grays and industrial type design. Of course my first question to the server - How long did this all take to paint all of this? Our server stated that they had a team of people painting the walls and it took them about a year. Even looking up at the ceiling I like that it had that open ceiling with that industrial style feel. Our server/hostess walked over and of course took our drink order. As we scanned the menu I quickly knew that it would be difficult for me to choose a meal. We almost walked out as my husband realized that a Mexican food type restaurant would not be a good idea for me. I wanted my husband to enjoy the food. The waitress came to take our order. I let her know what I'm allergic too so that she could check to see if there is any of those ingredients in the food. My husband built his bowl of food. He was able to choose his base, protein, etc. I decided to stay safe and ordered plain nachos. Our food came out and my husband thoroughly enjoyed the food. I ate the nachos and I was perfectly fine. Big SHOUT OUT TO CAMBRIE!!! She was our waitress and was absolutely fantastic. She was concerned about my food allergies and made sure to give me all information requested. She seemed very happy with her customers. So polite, fun, professional and kept everything flowing smoothly. She did everything possible to make sure that we were taken care of. Although there were more customers, she made us feel that we were the most important guest in the restaurant. Sooooo good, I inhaled the food before I could take a picture! Ordered the Bud Box, with a Lucy Fire and Sweet Heat taco. Came with a side of chips and queso, and a Muddled Jaleoeno margarita. Added a Mango margarita because I could. Ordered the whole thing online, was ready in 12 minutes. Walked in and it was ready to go. Very well done. Also, ordered the smoked jalapeño cheddar queso. I was excited to try out Condado Tacos, but I didn't have any expectations. I'm glad I didn't because the food was honestly a bit plain. I created my own tacos with their flour tortillas and steak. The steak did cost a dollar extra, but honestly that was probably the most flavor I had the entire meal. I also ordered rice and chips as sides. Rice was just plain white rice and the chips are super hard without any salt. Kinda disappointing. I will say, when I entered to pick up my takeout order the hostess was very nice and greeted me. This place is a bit overrated. They really sauce up the tacos and you kind of cannot taste all that is in the taco. The guac is good and queso is good too. The drinks are good and I prefer sitting at the bar except for the chairs are too close together. No room to breathe. The service is good and everyone seems friendly. Kicks Barrio's Butt! I've been a fan of Barrio for quite some time, but after experiencing Condado, it's my new spot. The ambiance of the slightly eclectic collections of work by various artists on the walls is awesome. So colorful and fun! You have a choice of bar seating, high tops, or low tops so that should appease everyone. The bar is very well stocked with all kinds of tequila and whiskies. I'm a HUGE fan of Asian whiskey and they have a few to choose from. The service is always very helpful and attentive. We had a trainee being shadowed by a veteran and they took exceedingly good care of us. The his time we tried a queso special that was amazing as well as corn salsa that was great. I normally love Condado and I will continue to be back but my recent order was just okay. I had the make your own bowl, salad version. Everything was really fresh and was served very quickly. My only issue was there was hardly any pulled pork on my bowl. I had 3 medium sized pieces but that was essentially it. Corona Premier and Bud Light are also available from the tap. Other import bottles/cans include Pacifico, Tecate, Victoria and Dos Equis. During my last visit, I was joined by my girlfriend and her daughter. We shared some chips and dips to start with. For a group of our size a half-order of the "Three Buds" option provided us with a nice sampling of guacamole, queso and salsa, along with plenty of chips. We then each ordered a single taco following our appetizer. I was considering ordering two, but figured I would start with one taco and go from there. I'm glad I went that route. One taco following my share of the chips was plenty for me. Condado is a cool place to grab a beer or margarita, and have a taco or two. It can be a little bit loud at times though, so if you're looking for a relaxing meal this might not be for you. Hubby and I stopped in because we wanted to try it. It wasn't bad but was mediocre. We started with drinks, I ordered the Pineapple Express hubby ordered the Mexicalita. My drink didn't really have any pineapple flavor and was very tart. Hubs really enjoyed his drink it was to spicy for me but he likes the spicy stuff. For an appetizer we did the half size of the 3 buds and ordered the Queso Blanco, the pico guacamole and the dirty queso. All of those were delicious and we highly recommend! For dinner we each ordered 2 tacos, I ordered the plain Jane chicken taco which was good, but the Kewl Ranch shell was extremely salty. My second taco was a build my own, I had a hard shell, tequila lime steak (which was kinda spicy), lettuce, tomato, cilantro and onion with the cilantro lime aioli. In the middle of me ordering my taco our waitress yelled to another waitress and lost track of what I was ordering, which I found to be rude. My husband ordered the Lucy's Fire and the Bad Habit. He enjoyed both of them however the Bad Habit had chorizo and that had a lot of cinnamon flavor which paired well with the chimichurri sauce but if you didn't get a bit with a lot of sauce it was a odd flavors. The Lucy's Fire taco was an average specialty taco, nothing underwhelming or overwhelming about it. Overall the experience was good, but we wouldn't make a special trip to eat there. read more
