They tried really hard with this place. They really did. But point A just didn't quite like up to point B the way it should have here. Who doesn't love a good pumpkin patch in the fall? One of the excitements of the season is getting to pick out your own pumpkin to carve and dressing in cute outfits to take pictures. Well, that's true for a lot of people, maybe not all haha (aka me). So HarvestMoon seemed like a most rewarding venture. There is lots to do at HarvestMoon. They have games like a football and baseball toss, a jumping trampoline thing, slides and swing sets, a roping section, and a few other things. They even created a giant corn maze in the shape of the Tampa Bay Lightning logo. There's also a mini "haunted" wood walk, a "haunted" hay ride, and a petting zoo with goats, a llama, pigs and a couple other animals. That all sounds really nice, right? Well, here's the kicker: this is a pumpkin patch in FLORIDA. Hot, humid, sticky, sweaty Florida. The fall is just as relentless as the summer, so for most of it pumpkin patch weather isn't really a thing. And HarvestMoon has next to no shade anywhere. It's all set up in a giant field, and every activity is very spread out, to where there's giant spots of space with literally nothing. So you walk super far in the stifling heat to get to the next thing, and there's not even a place to get relief from the sun- no trees, umbrellas, pavilions, nothing. The closest thing to shade they have is the sad thing they call their "pumpkin patch"- it's a small spot of concrete with a roof over top where there are a couple baskets of wayyy overpriced pumpkins. The overall effect was quite disappointing. I also don't know if it was just the time of day we went or what, but half of the activities seemed to be shut down, and the food trucks or snack places were also closed. Further, besides at the front gate where you get tickets, I saw *1* worker watching the activities, and he just stood at the trampoline part to make sure no one too little went in. Otherwise all of the other activities were a free-for-all. So, a lot of the activities seemed to be very worn down, and as if no one really cared to keep them clean or maintain them. This pumpkin patch seemed greatly like an afterthought, like a half effort.

Sunflowers are my favorite flower and I have always wanted to visit a field of them to bask in their beauty. This place did not disappoint that desire. I had such a great day with my family. I liked the creativity of the Clue-like game in the Sunflower Maze. There are other options for kids to enjoy: pony rides, swings, slide, jumping trampoline, feeding goats. We visited the food truck and the crispy chicken tenders really hit the spot after a hot morning. Bring water, closed toed shoes & bug spray and you will have a great day. There should be ice cream available somewhere on site.

I loved loved loved my time here at Harvest Moon. Everyone was so nice and friendly. We came for the sunflower maze and I couldn't get over the rows and rows of tall sunflowers everywhere. It was breath taking. I was so so happy to see all of them. I've been to two other sunflower mazes in Lakeland and also in Masaryktown and this is now my favorite of them. I loved that u can climb stars to look at it from above. I loved the way the sunflowers all hovered over you. They were so big and tall. There also were red sunflowers which were really neat. They have many pictures oops, a petting zoo where the baby piglets were the cutest and the goats walk right up to you. They have a cute tree house and a huge bounce area and some games. They also have a Clue Like game as you walk through the sunflower field. Lastly you can pick sunflowers for $2 each and zinnias for 2 for $1. Don't worry if they same droopy when u go home. They will perk right up once in a case of water so u might want to bring one so it's easier to bring them home. My fave pic opp was not only the sunflowers but the huge rocking chair. I loved visiting here and so happy we tried a new place or we would have never known! I love my flowers picked right from the farm. I can't stop staring at them!

Was looking for something fun and outside to do during this pandemic that was different and didn't involve the hustle & bustle of going to the beach. A friend recently posted some great photos from this farm so we thought we'd give it a go. First of all, it's perfect if you are trying to be a #influencer - great photo ops! Second, it isn't fancy or really a day full of activity, but it perfectly fulfilled our need to do something. The staff was friendly and everyone practiced social distancing. All in all, it was a cute, little trip worth the $10 worth of flowers you have to buy...or in my case just donate the money b/c I didn't want to bring any home. Ha!

My family brought me here for Mother's Day. They had free admission for mothers with a paid admission. We bought our tickets ahead of time and my husband didn't know about the promotion so the lady working the ticket booth said for him to email once he gets home for a refund. Ok, sure we will do that in hopes of getting the refund but I still don't understand why they couldn't issue it there. There was a line to redeem the online tickets. I would think that if you purchase tickets ahead of time that you'd get in quickly but think again. Then the lady at the first window we went to was rather rude -- staring that she was cash/card only and that it was on the sign. Ok well she just said next guest so we walked up. Perhaps instead of being rude to guests she could clearly call the next guest that is paying via cash or card. Then she proceeded to talk about our mistake to the next person that walked up to the window. Really irritating and so disrespectful, especially given she's in a customer service environment and what she does directly portrays the business! Disappointed. The sunflowers are beautiful and there is a large maze of them that you can walk through. If you choose, you can also pick some for $2 each. It's very very hot so be sure to wear sunscreen and bring some water. There are places that sell food and drink and there are a few other areas for activities for the family. None of the staff we encountered was very delightful. We probably stayed a few hours then left. Not sure we will be back but was a good experience!

Overall experience is a bit patchy (and will explain thoroughly by what my means are) for adults. However, for young kids age, passable. If using a GPS, the location is a breeze to locate. Parking was a little misleading. They had someone up front directing people left, but no further. So we were a little confused how they wanted us to park. We picked a spot at random in the grassy field. From the lot to the front desk is a little walk and that's where it started to get really confusing. Let me explain. Once my friends and I reached the front desk, we saw two lines. We hopped behind one line on the farthest left and waited. Wait time was slow in the lines. It was boiling hot and no shade until you hop right up to the counter. We pulled our groupons up on our phones (it was two tickets for about $16). Once we reached towards the front of the line, we noticed a sign on the far right saying groupons here. So we left our line to go into that lane, but the window was shut. After a minute or so, the officer working a shift nearby said that lane was closed. (No sign or indication that it was). So we followed the officers instructions to hop back into the lane we just left and waited several more minutes. Once reaching the front, the lady said she couldn't take our groupons since we were in the wrong lane. So for the third time, we moved lanes to the middle one. At last, we were able to "pay" and get our wristbands. We walked towards the mazes entrance so we hoped (which wasn't super clear where it was at). Once we reached inside, the nice man we super friendly and excited to tell us the monopoly game you can play and the story to follow. (We did both). Through the corn maze though, I was disappointed to find not a single ear on the stalks and the growth was pretty patchy, almost bare in some places. Nevertheless, my friends and I made fun of it. We even got an applause from a small crowd from completing the monopoly since few families have that season the man said. Afterwards, we walked about the premises, went into the tree house briefly and watched the animals for a minute or so before leaving. We couldn't figure out where the bathrooms were and decided to leave a little bit earlier to find a restroom at another facility. Overall, some of the staffing was friendly, but some were not so much nor informative. They should have clearer signs as for parking and checking in at the ticket desk to avoid confusion. Tip: bring a hat or some source of shade. Very hot! Also, bring water. They do offer some drinks and snacks for a price, but for the apple drink was about 4 dollars. And wear closed toed shoes, your feet are covered in dirt when you walk out. Great for young, little kiddies. Had much to do for their age. Adults: not so much. But very, young family oriented.

After a Google search, I have came across Quail Ridge Farm. I called the place and inquired about Bob White Quail. A very polite gentleman informed me that I can come by on Tuesday. When I arrived, I was literally in shock! INFORMATIVE:: A very cheerful lady with a big smile welcomed me to her sanctuary. She showed me the tiny baby quails that I intended to purchase in her garage. Then, we talked about a bit, since I wanted to purchase more birds in the future, but because I am very new I did not even know where to begin. She full full of very useful information. She welcome to call her at any time if I have any questions and then she escorted me to the bird inclosure (aka bird farm) BIRD HOME: I went inside of fenced-in inclosure with the birds. The enclosure was well protected. I knew to predator could get in. My jaws dropped right at the entrance. For it was not just the bird farm, it was a bird sanctuary. The place was spotless clean! I mean, How one can have a such clean place with so many birds? But yet it was!! It was a way cleaner then any zoo! The place did not smell of bird waste at all. Inside, I saw cages with birds and tons of birds just free ranging. The huge snow white peacock screamed loud to welcome me. The birds looked very healthy and not stress out at all! I was followed by a curious Turkey. It was like visiting a fair tale. Immediately, I wanted to purchase more birds! And I did! I did not even planned to! PRICES: Very affordable! I have purchase 4 pheasants. I would have purchased more, but I did not have the inclosure built yet to host more birds. But I will definitely return to get more birds from Quail Ridge Farm! As soon as I build more homes for the birds! What an incredible experience! I highly recommend

Which I assume treehouse farm would be the partner farm. On instagram we saw beautiful farmland and huge yurt like tents as cabanas with the layouts described on the website. The website not having any photos should've been the first red flag. After making an over 2 hour drive from Orlando we are greeted by someone who had clearly already had a long day, asking us to sign waivers. We ask when the pizza will be served because we are incredibly hungry and it was going to be a hot day. They tell us after 1pm because the pizza comes from this amazing pizza place. We are told where the bathroom is and then led to our cabana. What a HUGE disappointment. It's a tailgating canopy with 8 seats and 2 blow up chairs even though it's advertised to sit 12. We were expecting an enclosed private space but we were just in a line of 5 other canopies the exact same size and decor. The only difference was the number of seats. We got to feed baby cows and they took Polaroids of the experience. That was pretty cool. We then got to feed animals and hold baby goats. That was awesome. Around 1:20pm the super Awsome pizza arrived. 2 dominos pizzas. Was this a joke? Dominos??? The pizza was cold and one of them tasted off. 5 minutes after we got the pizza we were asked if everything was okay and I said no, it's cold and it's dominos. The attendant stated that they got dominos because WE said we were hungry. And that they knew for a fact the pizza was hot because it was so hot on their arms. I was taken aback at the rudeness. The attendants then went to a different party cabana and spent most of their time there drinking alcohol with those guests and ignoring us. No one even wished me a happy birthday. What was supposed to be a full 11-5 day, we left at 2:30 it was so bad. I really hope Cowabunga refunds my mom her money. At least half if not more. DO NOT TRAVEL FAR FOR THIS "EXPERIENCE". It's only worth it if you live local and actually know what you're paying for. First photo is what was advertised. Other photos is what we got.

The tour begins with brief introductions while attendees feed the farm's chickens. Next, the tour enters a fenced in enclosure and guests form a circle. The juvenile alpacas are familiar with these procedures and eagerly approach and eat from the palms of your hands. Another worthwhile moment is having visitors being introduced to an adult llama.
