I ordered a peach/ginger drink and it was strong but really tasty, highly recommend! A few non-drinking ladies were given great recommendations for virgin cocktails! The food was also really good, most people got burgers which looked really good. I got the duck pizza which was really tasty but the crust could use work, it was a bit too crunchy and flat, I'm not sure what style I would call it but I prefer either a lightly crisp crust with a chewy bite or a fluffy crust, this was neither. I am a bit snobby when it comes to pizza so I'm definitely particular but the toppings were really unique and tasted yummy! Next time I'll go for a burger for sure. The service was excellent, I had made special arrangements to bring in a group of 16 people, and, being moms to young babies, some of us showed up later/earlier, some left earlier/later and we all had separate bills, so I know it wasn't the easiest to manage but our server honestly nailed it. We all had our drinks done perfectly, food came out all at the same time, nothing was missed, and he was soo genuine and friendly. We really had such a nice time! Thanks so much HBH for making our night out so fun!!

Is the food good? For a most frightening reason, I never found out. Read on…read more My friend and I recently visited The Scruffy Duck for lunch. It's a comfortable looking pub, with a decent sounding menu. We went for lunch on a Friday around 2 pm. The place was almost empty (the COVID situation may have something to do with their having so few customers). A young lady, our waitress, seated us promptly, gave us a menu, and took our order quickly. The beer we ordered came almost right away. However, about 20-25 minutes later, our food had not arrived. Then, another woman, apparently the owner or manager, asked if our order had come yet (even though she could see there was no food on the table). She then told us our waitress hadn't placed the order, because she wasn't feeling well! So, in the middle of the COVID crisis, this restaurant allowed a sick employee to work, and to serve customers!! We asked the manager to not bother filling our order, asked to pay for the beer (to her credit she said there would be no bill), and we left. Although it's understandable that a sick waitress might accidentally not put in an order, what is TOTALLY INEXCUSABLE is that the restaurant management ALLOWED A SICK EMPLOYEE to work in the midst of the COVID crisis, and to put customers and other staff at risk! And then the manager became angry because we no longer wanted to eat there. Really?????? This is not only irresponsible, it's DANGEROUS! Needless to say, we won't return.

We were greeted right away. After we were seated, our server was over right away. Hunter was very helpful. The beer options are incredible and can be overwhelming. Hunter was really good with breaking the drink menu down. While beer isn't my thing, they cater to just about every taste. They even offer gluten free beer! Speaking of gluten free - they offer so many gluten free options. I opted for the lettuce wrapped double standard burger. It was delicious! It came between a head of iceberg lettuce (who needs a salad!). My boyfriend got the brisket burger and loved it! I tried a piece of the brisket and it was tasty. I should add, their prices points are reasonable too. All and all great atmosphere to dine in or catch a game - lots of tvs! Definitely worth checking out!
