Today is my mom's birthday, so I wanted to take her somewhere for brunch. I've heard good things about Hash Kitchen, so I decided to take her here. I'd say it was a good decision. We both loved the food! Since it was a Sunday, I knew it'd be busy. I figured it'd be a good idea to check whether Hash Kitchen offers a way to join the waitlist online. Luckily, they do! I joined ahead of time and we arrived about 30 minutes later. While there were tons of people waiting for a table outside, our table was ready within minutes of us checking in. We were promptly seated and our waitress did not take long to take our order. I wasn't sure how long the wait would be after ordering, but it was surprisingly quick considering how busy they were. We ordered the Boujee Biscuits to share. Those were delicious! It comes with three kinds of butter, but my favorite was the salted caramel one. We also each ordered the Best F#*%ing Birria Hash and shared a stack of the Buttermilk Pancakes. Everything was so good, but I especially loved the Birria Hash. Once we finished eating, I was able to pay by scanning a QR code on our table, which was really convenient. I can truly say we had a great experience. read more

My husband and I visited Hash Kitchen on Sunday morning right before 11:30 AM. We were able to join the waitlist online, but their process is a bit different than what we're used to. Even after joining the waitlist, you still have to check in with the hostess upon arrival, and there may still be an additional wait. When we arrived, we were told it would be about a 20-minute wait for a table, or we could sit at the bar. We chose the bar, but honestly, we wish we had waited for a table because the bar area felt a bit tight. The bartenders were very nice, but at times it seemed like they were a bit overwhelmed, as we had to wave them down a few times for assistance. One highlight was the live DJ--the music selection was great and really added to the overall atmosphere. For food, we ordered the Basic AF and the chicken and waffles. Unfortunately, the food temperature was disappointing. The waffles were cold, and most of the Basic AF dish was cold as well, except for the eggs. The only item that was warm on my plate was the chicken. This is definitely something that should be improved--breakfast dishes should be served hot and fresh. For drinks, we ordered a Bloody Mary and wanted to add a mini Miller High Life, but they were out of stock, which was disappointing. Instead, we opted for a Corona, which felt overpriced at $7 for a single bottle--especially when it's being used as an add-on. A lower price point would feel more reasonable in that situation. On a positive note, I also ordered the Boozy Bag drink with a watermelon slice, and it was absolutely delicious--definitely a highlight of the visit. The restaurant does offer a good amount of outdoor seating with shade coverings, which is great for avoiding the sun. Inside, especially near the bar, you can hear the music much better, but it's still audible outside depending on where you sit. Our total bill for two came to about $70, so it's something to plan for in terms of pricing. One additional suggestion: we did notice bartenders and staff handling drink garnishes--such as fruit and decorative items like cotton candy--with their bare hands. For hygiene and cleanliness purposes, it would be highly recommended for staff to use gloves or some type of protective covering when preparing drinks, especially since these items go directly into customer beverages. Overall, we enjoy the vibe and energy here, but consistency with food temperature and attentiveness during busy times would really improve the experience. Also, it looks like they offer a rewards program that requires linking a credit card--we're not fully sure how it works, but it might be worth asking about for future visits. read more

Hash Kitchen is THE PLACE to go right now for breakfast or brunch any day of the week. We've been coming here for a few years now and it has definitely become our brunch spot out of all the options in the area. The prices are great, the drinks are incredible, and the food never disappoints. The tamale cakes with the hash brown cake are easily some of the best brunch items around. Every time we come, the food and drinks remind us why we keep coming back. The only reason we marked this as 4 stars instead of 5 is the service timing. I want to be very clear that we've never had a bad server--everyone we've interacted with has been friendly and working extremely hard. The issue seems more related to how busy the restaurant gets, which is almost immediately once they open to when they close, and servers being stretched thin. On our most recent visit (which was otherwise amazing), we waited over 10 minutes just to place our drink order, and my Bloody Mary didn't arrive until after our starter had already been brought out. When it came time to check out, that process took over 15 minutes, and even trying to pay using the QR code on the table didn't work because the receipt wouldn't load. It feels awkward trying to get your server's attention when you can clearly see he is struggling to keep up with so many other tables and asks. This isn't the first time we've experienced longer waits for things like drink orders or checking out, so that would really be the only feedback we'd give. We understand this location is getting more popular, which we are happy to see and hear, but we wonder if the size, space, and staff are still being considered with its growing influence. Other than that, everything else is consistently great and we'll absolutely keep coming back. If the service flow improves a bit during busy times it would be unstoppable. read more

For the third time in a row, I was ignored at the host stand while the staff checked in someone who arrived after me. I'm not sure what that's about. I'm done giving this spot chances I'll be making the drive to the Arrowhead location from now on where this has never happened. read more

Stopped in for breakfast here with my husband and son, we were seated right away. It was pretty busy, but our waitress came and greeted us right away and took our drink order, we asked for a few minutes to look over the menu. This was my husband's first time at Hash. The music they were playing was good, not too overly loud, just enough to enjoy and still be able to hold a conversation with each other. My son and I ordered the Birria Hash, my husband had the carnitas. We all enjoyed our food and our waitress stayed on top of our drinks and checked on us often. read more

I've had mixed feeling about hash for sometime but I went again on a whim for brunch yet music is a bit too loud for the morning but the server Jose was FANTASTIC, really enjoyed his service as crammed as he was he did great in answering questions and taking care of us . I mentioned it was my Dads bday and that I wanted him to experience Hash Kitchen. Her response ..,.. ohhhhh ... not Happy Birthday just oh. My Mom ordered a Bloody Mary without ice, I reiterated, "no ice" it was so packed with ice we had to track her down for a new one. We waved her down, told her but before she left, I said "I want her olives since you're making a new one and giggled as I'm stealing the best part of my moms bloody" she brought one back without olives... I said "she still needs olives" her response "I gave her some" I said I know but since you made a fresh one I thought maybe it would have new olives" she walked away and got some olives. We asked her to bring us silverware a couple of times. We had to ask someone else. My parents both liked their food. I do love their food but today I ordered a frittata that said something about whipped goat cheese ... that sounded amazing but there were just a few sprinkles of goat cheese on top, other than that, it had absolutely no flavor and was so dry. I barely ate it. I did order 2 protein pancakes so i did have that to eat. We were never checked on, I did want to ask about this whipped goat cheese but she only came back to bring us the check. The check was also delivered without a pen so we had to wait to see her again for that. Just not the best experience on a Thursday morning and especially on a special occasion. everyone here was sooooo friendly! the atmosphere here was a beautiful start to our day. me and my 3 other friends got something different to try and everything was pretty great. the birria hash and omelette were both so good but my personal favorite was the banana split french toast that i got. the bread was so soft and the caramelized banana with the filling in the toast was amazing. i'm not a sweet breakfast person but i would order this again if i was ever in the area. the only one i didn't love was the matcha strawberry pancakes. the strawberry jam was too sweet for my liking personally. read more

I did not care for the club volume music inside the restaurant. I can definitely see how others would enjoy the atmosphere though. The canoli donuts were delicious. Great flavor. Had a great time. Service was awesome. Alex was our server right on with suggestions quick, friendly professional! When I arrived, it was busy Mia at the hostess stand quickly, greeted us with a smile and welcomed us! We came in here on a Saturday and I was happy to see they had a waitlist online. After entering in our requested time we arrived at the restaurant during peak breakfast hours and did not have to wait. Upon entering they had a DJ playing which normally I'm not ready for that early in the morning but the DJ was playing good music so it definitely amped up the mood. Our server was very polite, informative and helpful with selection choices and her thoughts on each. They were passing out breakfast shots after we sat, since it was a Saturday we figured "why not". We both ordered the mimosa flight and I was pleasantly surprised on their different choices, they all tasted amazing. Our food came out relatively quick and tasted great. I had the huevos rancheros skillet and it was put together beautifully and was definitely worth trying again. My girlfriend enjoyed her plate as well. Man I wanted to love this place. But everything about the dish was wrong. From the chicken being to dry to the waffle being flavorless. Only thing good from what was ordered was the mimosa flight. Decided to come here for a quick breakfast before errands for the day. Service was fast and the man who was my server was really good at his job and was fast. The salmon Benedict was okay. When I was checking for nearby restaurant and found "birria bao bun" on their menu, I had to go there! First of all, what a cute vibe! I love that they had a live DJ with my kind of music!
