The Best F#*%ing Birria Hash *

Today is my mom's birthday, so I wanted to take her somewhere for brunch. I've heard good things about Hash Kitchen, so I decided to take her here. I'd say it was a good decision. We both loved the food! Since it was a Sunday, I knew it'd be busy. I figured it'd be a good idea to check whether Hash Kitchen offers a way to join the waitlist online. Luckily, they do! I joined ahead of time and we arrived about 30 minutes later. While there were tons of people waiting for a table outside, our table was ready within minutes of us checking in. We were promptly seated and our waitress did not take long to take our order. I wasn't sure how long the wait would be after ordering, but it was surprisingly quick considering how busy they were. We ordered the Boujee Biscuits to share. Those were delicious! It comes with three kinds of butter, but my favorite was the salted caramel one. We also each ordered the Best F#*%ing Birria Hash and shared a stack of the Buttermilk Pancakes. Everything was so good, but I especially loved the Birria Hash. Once we finished eating, I was able to pay by scanning a QR code on our table, which was really convenient. I can truly say we had a great experience.

Stopped in for breakfast here with my husband and son, we were seated right away. It was pretty busy, but our waitress came and greeted us right away and took our drink order, we asked for a few minutes to look over the menu. This was my husband's first time at Hash. The music they were playing was good, not too overly loud, just enough to enjoy and still be able to hold a conversation with each other. My son and I ordered the Birria Hash, my husband had the carnitas. We all enjoyed our food and our waitress stayed on top of our drinks and checked on us often.

Service was absolutely awful today Busy as always ... which I am so happy to see! We've been twice and had decent service but this gal today was awful. I even mentioned it on the way out. I mentioned it was my Dads bday and that I wanted him to experience Hash Kitchen. Her response ..,.. ohhhhh ... not Happy Birthday just oh. My Mom ordered a Bloody Mary without ice, I reiterated, "no ice" it was so packed with ice we had to track her down for a new one. We waved her down, told her but before she left, I said "I want her olives since you're making a new one and giggled as I'm stealing the best part of my moms bloody" she brought one back without olives... I said "she still needs olives" her response "I gave her some" I said I know but since you made a fresh one I thought maybe it would have new olives" she walked away and got some olives. We asked her to bring us silverware a couple of times. We had to ask someone else. My parents both liked their food. I do love their food but today I ordered a frittata that said something about whipped goat cheese ... that sounded amazing but there were just a few sprinkles of goat cheese on top, other than that, it had absolutely no flavor and was so dry. I barely ate it. I did order 2 protein pancakes so i did have that to eat. We were never checked on, I did want to ask about this whipped goat cheese but she only came back to bring us the check. The check was also delivered without a pen so we had to wait to see her again for that. Just not the best experience on a Thursday morning and especially on a special occasion. Again, I have given this place a 5 star before but today... not great. I say try it .

everyone here was sooooo friendly! the atmosphere here was a beautiful start to our day. me and my 3 other friends got something different to try and everything was pretty great. the birria hash and omelette were both so good but my personal favorite was the banana split french toast that i got. the bread was so soft and the caramelized banana with the filling in the toast was amazing. i'm not a sweet breakfast person but i would order this again if i was ever in the area. the only one i didn't love was the matcha strawberry pancakes. the strawberry jam was too sweet for my liking personally.

Where do I begin. Let's start with biscuits and butters.... Omg - delish! Ordered the 3 appetizer donuts - so good. Waffles & fried chicken, chillsaquiles, and Bloody Mary to name a few... everything was great. Our server was perfect, very engaging, friendly and polite. Sat outdoors with our dogs under the misters, very peaceful. Thank you Hash Kitchen.

The service was great. This place gets busy!!!! The best time to go if you don't want to wait is first thing when they open. We went at 730am and were seated immediately. I did not care for the club volume music inside the restaurant. I can definitely see how others would enjoy the atmosphere though. The canoli donuts were delicious. Great flavor. The buttermilk pancakes were huge. 4 stack! Flavor wise they tasted like any other pancake. But for $11 pretty good deal. The Birria hash was very good too. Very large portion and definitely could have shared. We will certainly be back, for an early breakfast!

Had a great time. Service was awesome. Alex was our server right on with suggestions quick, friendly professional! When I arrived, it was busy Mia at the hostess stand quickly, greeted us with a smile and welcomed us! As the restaurant became busier, I couldn't help but notice how both managers Tyler and Josh were both on the floor assisting the servers, turning tables, and checking in on everyone! Josh explained to us how the loyalty program works and we're very excited to join! Will definitely be back and recommend to others!

Super cute restaurant. Trendy with lots of seating. No waiting area so you're stuck waiting outside under umbrellas that don't save you from the heat. Lots of fun drink options. Love the Mexi fusion twist on all the food. ALL the staff were very kind. They turned off the mist outside for a few minutes which made the experience miserable but as long as they keep the misters on, it's good to sit outside.

The food and atmosphere is great, but you can't enjoy a conversation because the DJ's music is deafening. A very cute place. I heard it's not too bad during a weekday. The service was good as well.

Pet friendly. Great Breakfast and Bruch spot, worth plenty of variety of options. The chilaquiles are enough for 2 ppl. The Mexican Gorditas were very mushy and not the best texture, okay taste. Great service and very clean/ presentable.

We came in here on a Saturday and I was happy to see they had a waitlist online. After entering in our requested time we arrived at the restaurant during peak breakfast hours and did not have to wait. Upon entering they had a DJ playing which normally I'm not ready for that early in the morning but the DJ was playing good music so it definitely amped up the mood. Our server was very polite, informative and helpful with selection choices and her thoughts on each. They were passing out breakfast shots after we sat, since it was a Saturday we figured "why not". We both ordered the mimosa flight and I was pleasantly surprised on their different choices, they all tasted amazing. Our food came out relatively quick and tasted great. I had the huevos rancheros skillet and it was put together beautifully and was definitely worth trying again. My girlfriend enjoyed her plate as well. Overall this is a great place with a full bar and attentive staff. I'll definitely be back again.

Do you have a gluten free menu?

    Their menu is on yelp

Is this a good breakfast spot to take my kids (4 and 10)?

It can be. It is loud with a DJ most days. Lots of adult options for drinks. Plates are pretty big and can be shared.

Does the restaurant close at 2 or is the dj done at 2?

    yes

Any vegan options other than the drinks, vegetables, and fruit?!

There are a couple of vegan options: an açaí bowl and a warm oats breakfast.

Do they take reservation for large group?

No they don't and the whole party has to be there before they will seAt

Could we call ahead for reservations?

No reservations can be made. One person must be present to request large group services and all persons of the request must be present before a table is seated.

Is it possible to get a reservation?

No. The only way to get a table is to register is person at the restaurant and then wait for them to text you that your table is close to being ready.

What is the average wait time on a weekday?

We went on a weekday and it was an hour and 15 minutes

When is live music? Im hoping to bring out of town guests to hear some music when we come. Also- Is the bloody mary bar open with covid? Im hoping so but betting not :(

Friday saturdy and Sunday, start 9. As far as I know the bloody mary bar is open

Is there a patio area where we can bring dogs?

I've seen diners bring their dogs.

Anyone know why this location doesn't have the option to join the waitlist? I noticed the other locations have that option in Yelp.

Hi Netta! We do not plan to have yelp waitlist at this location. Thank you!

What are you peak times on Sunday's?

    All morning. Very busy.

    My place in line?

Quick food service and although we had to wait 30mins for a table, it was well worth the wait!

Where can I put my name down for the waitlist here?

The only way to put your name in is to show up in-person. It is EXTREMELY busy on weekends and you need to be prepared for a wait, as they don't take reservations nor do they allow waitlisting.…

So when we drove past it during this weekend's trip to Peoria, AZ, I knew this was where we would be dining for at least one morning! Turns out we loved it so much that it turned into day 2's morning selection and our last meal before heading home! First I must say that the service was amazing. Our 2 wait staff members were adorably personable answering all my questions and returning several times to ensure we were well supported. Second, I loved the coffee latte in the mason jar. So good I got it both days. First morning was the Beast Eggs Benedict for me and the Chorizo omelet for Mr. Would definitely order both again. Mr. got biscuits with his omelet. OMG! These biscuits are the right biscuits--you know the difference if you've ever had good and not so good biscuits. These are the right kind of Southern style biscuits so good, make you wanna slap yo mama!! But that's not all. The homemade strawberry jam! It's everything. Just the right amount of sweet. One thing to note: the fried potatoes on my plate and the bell peppers on Mr's plate were both a tad al dente. Might be the style of the chef on the line. Both were enjoyable. Another thing to note: incredible portions. Go hungry. I had to ask for a box both mornings. Second day: I had the Monte Cristo which caught my eye the first day and the waitress assured me was a solid choice after the Beast. Y'all! So! Good! I have ordered many a Monte Cristo in my day. This was unique to the Biscuit cafe with one layer of beautifully cut ham and Swiss cheese nestled lovingly between two thick pieces of perfect french toast slices and dusted with powdered sugar. On the side was the famous homemade strawberry jam along with dijon mustard. The mix of all these flavors was perfection. Everything I dreamed it would be. Mr. got biscuits and gravy to try the sausage gravy and it was super! Really good seasonings and sausage flavor. Not too much pepper which is a frequent risk with white southern gravy. One more thing I absolutely must call out. If you're like me and love the idea of a flight so you can test out many flavors--mimosas, margaritas, cinnamon rolls, donuts, bacon, french toast, are just a few of the flights I remembered from the menu. This place has a minimum of one flight per category. This calls out to my "try everything" spirit. Hope it calls out to yours too! This is definitely staying in my Phoenix/Chandler saved places and we will definitely go back.

There is also some black paper along the windows, which looks pretty tacky. The place also had an unpleasant stink to it. I was slow to be greeted by a server after being seated despite the fact that the restaurant was less than half full. The coffee was fair and the service was slow. I was hoping my breakfast would make up for it, especially since the prices were a bit higher than average. I got the pork chop and eggs. The pork chops were very thinly sliced and deep-fried but had an almost jerky like texture. My over easy eggs were also well done. They do have some interesting looking southern dishes on the menu that I was really curious about, but it's very unlikely that I will return. Are too many other good breakfast spots in the area. Coleslaw changed from normal coleslaw to a spicy coleslaw. Since my go to's are no longer on the menu I tried something new. I went with the shrimp tacos. This includes two tacos. Each taco has two corn tortillas, spicy slaw, shrimp, avocado, jalapeños and sauce. Sides offered are typical side that go with burgers: baked beans, French fries onions rings, salad etc. The first taco I attempted to pick up and eat. It fell apart immediately. The flavor seemed a little off. I narrowed it down to the coleslaw which tasted like a mix of vinegar and chipotle. It does have spice but IMO it is not good. The second taco I deconstructed and ate just the shrimp, avocado and jalapeños. My fries were good but they didn't go with tacos very well. My son had the fruity pebbles French toast. He said it tasted salty he made it a griddle for $6.50 more. Seems a bit steep for two eggs and a sausage but what do I know? The service was on point as it always is. The restaurant wasn't very busy but it was early evening. Based on the menu as it is now, I will continue to visit as my breakfast go to; however, for lunch/dinner there are other options available for me.

Server was on her "A" game! Kept our soft drinks and tea full and made sure our food was perfectly cooked to order! *Our party ordered the Brisket Piggy Plater with Ranch-Style spicy beans (jalapeño or poblano) and mac n' cheese; two (2) BYOB (Build Your Own Burgers; Angus beef cooked to medium-well) and French Fries; TAB (Turkey Smashed Avocado and Bacon) w/ French Fries; and a Kid's All-Day Breakfast (Scrambled Eggs, Bacon, and White Toast). The food: SOOOOOOO GOOD! Cooked to perfection! Absolutely ZERO complaints! Thank you, Haymaker for an enjoyable experience!
