We chose this place based off of the Yelp reviews and it was wonderful. The atmosphere is great, we got there right before it got busy on a Sunday morning. It is family owned, and the servers are knowledgeable about the menu and very fun. I tried the Hawaiian Portuguese sausage and eggs, I love the flavor of the sausage, and I really like their house made potatoes. They have really big omelettes and breakfast skillets. Ugh Country Griddle was just a really great no frills breakfast spot!! It was pretty busy when we went but we were seated within minutes. The spot is pretty tiny and they make good use of the space and try to fit as many tables they can but it was super clean. Service was very friendly and efficient. The French toast is to die for and the Albondigas was a perfect servicing size. I loved that they were small meatballs, it felt like more in the soup. Stopped by Country Griddle on a busy Saturday morning for breakfast and luckily snagged the last available table. Despite how packed it was, the service was great, and we had a wonderful experience. I really appreciated that their menu had more than just the usual breakfast classics. We ordered the Local Moco and the Country Fried Steak. My husband and I love Country Griddle. It has become a staple in our trips to Arizona. We make the 30 minute drive to dine here in the morning at least once. My husband orders the same thing each time, Country's Favorite omelette, and the Country Skillet. He claims no one does it like them. So while I wanted to leave an amazing review I have been trying to call this place since I left because the girl over charged my card by like almost 14$ I'm super upset because we gave our server like a 20$ cash tip. But most frustrating because I have been calling back to back since I left and they do not pickup. That's leading me to believe they have done this before and someone said they're just gonna not answer until their shift ends and that would be that well here I am so the world can know and to keep careful watch of the place since the people might have tricks up their sleeves. I'm just saying that's suspicious that truly turned my whole experience upside down. They handled the whole situation through thoroughly reaching out to me and explaining exactly what happened and what would happen over the course of a day or so. We found this place after we didn't want to wait over an hour at Black Bear Diner on a Monday morning and are thrilled we did! Friendly, excellent service, scratch made food, even down to the homemade strawberry jam which was exceptionally delicious. My wife had the southern omelette which had some of the best tasting chorizo I have tasted.
