Look, I'm a firm believer that breakfast is the most important meal of the day and you will find me choosing breakfast for any meal of the day. I love all things breakfast. So when we drove past it during this weekend's trip to Peoria, AZ, I knew this was where we would be dining for at least one morning! Turns out we loved it so much that it turned into day 2's morning selection and our last meal before heading home! First I must say that the service was amazing. Our 2 wait staff members were adorably personable answering all my questions and returning several times to ensure we were well supported. Second, I loved the coffee latte in the mason jar. So good I got it both days. First morning was the Beast Eggs Benedict for me and the Chorizo omelet for Mr. Would definitely order both again. Mr. got biscuits with his omelet. OMG! These biscuits are the right biscuits--you know the difference if you've ever had good and not so good biscuits. These are the right kind of Southern style biscuits so good, make you wanna slap yo mama!! But that's not all. The homemade strawberry jam! It's everything. Just the right amount of sweet. One thing to note: the fried potatoes on my plate and the bell peppers on Mr's plate were both a tad al dente. Might be the style of the chef on the line. Both were enjoyable. Another thing to note: incredible portions. Go hungry. I had to ask for a box both mornings. Second day: I had the Monte Cristo which caught my eye the first day and the waitress assured me was a solid choice after the Beast. Y'all! So! Good! I have ordered many a Monte Cristo in my day. This was unique to the Biscuit cafe with one layer of beautifully cut ham and Swiss cheese nestled lovingly between two thick pieces of perfect french toast slices and dusted with powdered sugar. On the side was the famous homemade strawberry jam along with dijon mustard. The mix of all these flavors was perfection. Everything I dreamed it would be. Mr. got biscuits and gravy to try the sausage gravy and it was super! Really good seasonings and sausage flavor. Not too much pepper which is a frequent risk with white southern gravy. One more thing I absolutely must call out. If you're like me and love the idea of a flight so you can test out many flavors--mimosas, margaritas, cinnamon rolls, donuts, bacon, french toast, are just a few of the flights I remembered from the menu. This place has a minimum of one flight per category. This calls out to my "try everything" spirit. Hope it calls out to yours too! I have been to other Biscuits locations, but this was the first time at this location. My party had 3 people and it was around noon. We were greeted and seated promptly. Our waiter seemed to be working about 6-8 tables alone. She was as tentative as she could be and I'm not mad at her but it's seemed like she needed help. The food came out in good time and everyone enjoyed every last bit of our food! It did take awhile to check out as there was only one waitress working but the manager ended up checking us out to assist the waitress. We left full and with a to go box. Biscuits is a great place for breakfast and lunch all around but this location I will order to go next time. read more

Yesterday, 06/29/26, was my first visit to Biscuit Cafe. I met a friend for breakfast & it was SO enjoyable! The environment was comfortable, the food was delicious but, last but not least, the service was incredible! The hostess was so sweet to accommodate our need for a quiet area to sit and the servers were SO friendly and personable! Even the bartender, Steve, came over to join the "party"! Stopped in after my appointment for pancakes. Decided upon the BYOB with three choices-2 buttermilk pancakes, two sausage links and fruit $13.59 and chocolate coffee as my beverage. Pancakes had crunchy ends but too thick for me, sausages were crispy yet chewy and fruit cup had strawberries, pineapple, melon-delicious. I've been going to this location for years, I've always had an extremely positive experience. The staff are friendly, professional, and just do an amazing job. The atmosphere is nice, it's easy to enjoy a conversation. The tables, floors, bathroom and dining ware are always clean and well maintained. And most importantly, the reason I go is because the food is absolutely delicious. It's always fresh and exactly as advertised. I've never had anything sent back. I've never had a problem with anything on my plate. Absolutely consistently exceptional service. Oh my last visit I had the French toast flight and got to choose four different flavors of French toast. The appearance of it was amazing and the taste exceeded my expectations. We came with out-of-town friends for breakfast after a few intense Pickleball games. We started out splitting a huge Cinnamon Roll. 3 of us had a piece and there was still enough left to take home. This food is so overpriced and not good. We came for brunch and had to move outside after being seated at a table in the corner when the place was pretty empty next to a very rude group of people. This is a nice coffee shop that has a good sized restaurant area with ample space for seating different sized parties. They offer good portions at average prices but I have not found a special item on the item yet that would give me a compelling reason to come back next week. My wife and I shared a plate.We ordered the BYOB (build your own breakfast) combo. It came with pancakes, a couple pieces of bacon, eggs, and smothered hash browns (the plain hashbrowns were included as a regular part of the meal, however for a $2 up charge they will add cheese, scallions, and sour cream on top of their traditional hash browns... it wasn't worth it in my opinion). I liked the pancakes and bacon and would order them again. However the rest of my food tasted pretty unimpressive. The scrambled eggs were a little dry and bland. The smothered hash browns didn't taste very good. The basic hashbrowns tasted oily and kind of stale as if they have been fried on a grill that had not been properly cleaned in a while. I don't want to give the wrong impression. There were a lot of people at this restaurant and many of them seem to be enjoying their meals and this was only my first time. Sometime when I decide to try them again I will definitely try a few other things on the breakfast menu I'm sure I will find some things that I like much more than the first plate that I ordered when we were there last time. I gave them a three because I felt like there was a little bit of room to improve as far as the flavor of the food on the breakfast menu. Not sure why everyone raves about this place. The service is not great and it's outrageously expensive. We were sat in a corner next to other people when the place was empty. Loud inappropriate conversations led us to ask to sit outside after we ordered. At least it didn't smell like dirty mop water outside but there was bird poop all over the outside tables and chairs. I got the build your own with 3 options and it was almost $14. Others in my party got Benedicts and omelettes and they were over $20. There's no reason why a plate of breakfast should cost $20. Biscuits Cafe has become one of our favorite breakfast spots in the valley!! The staff are always so friendly and welcoming. The portions are great for the price and the food is so delicious. I had to ask our server about the strawberry jam that comes with the toast... it is TO DIE for!!! She let us know that it's Biscuits' jam made fresh in house; they make strawberry, raspberry, and marionberry, and pints are available for purchase!! The restaurant itself is always clean, noise level is pretty loud considering how busy it always is, and there is plenty of parking outside for convenience. A very solid cafe. The staff accommodated us quickly, took our order quickly and served us quickly. The ambiance is not that great, but I think the theme of Biscuits is to accommodate a-lot of people and to serve them quickly. They accomplished these tasks really well. The food was good. I had a hamburger. The beef had a great flavor and the ingredients seemed fresh. The onion rings were obviously made in house and were very good. My wife had an omelette and hash browns. She said it was really good as well. The only shortcoming that I saw was that there were not so many combos offered such as chicken fried steak and eggs. Everything was great! 1/11/25: Short version - popped in here because we were too early for the Arrowhead Farmers Market & we were both starving for a good breakfast. We got it! Also had a wonderful server, Jeremy. Longer version - we arrived close to 8 a.m. and were seated immediately. Within seconds Jeremy was at our table taking a drink order -- and throughout our entire stay he repeatedly walked by to inquire after things. I was happy to see that they offer one free refill for hot chocolate. We immediately ordered two, and a cinnamon roll to split. It came out hot and slathered in frosting. Normally I am a glutton for sweets (especially frosting) but I was not overly keen on theirs; neither was my sister. The best descriptor I have is non-traditional. The roll itself was awesome but its awesomeness was tempered by the "meh" frosting. I think they need to either put less on it so patrons can focus more on the roll, or better yet, change the frosting recipe. After ordering our food, it was maybe five to ten minutes before it arrived at the table. Excellent time management skills there. My sister thoroughly enjoyed her avocado benedict, and I did my chicken apple & avo sandwich, but again, not overly so. The sole reason being it was very messy not one to eat with your hands. The avo spread -- and there was a lot of it, so yay -- was in a large heap on the top. Why is that bad? Because the second you attempt to take a bite, it ALL SQUISHES OUT. Like I said: messy. I ended up cutting it up into pieces with a steak knife to avoid having to ask for a bib. :-) I would have enjoyed the sandwich more if it was not situated between two buns, but instead layered on one slice of thick toast. The bar isn't that low. Gluten free restaurants should make an attempt to create their own gluten free food. I want pancakes, French toast, waffles, biscuits and gravy, country fried steak! There are restaurants who do make the most awesome meals gluten free. When you can make those, then you should be able to say you are a gluten free restaurant, otherwise you just have bread options. read more

We had the worst lunch we have had anywhere today here. Started with being handed 4 nasty menus with sticky probably syrup on them. When the waitress came we gave our order and mentioned the menu's needed whipped down she rolled her eyes like she shouldn't be bothered to do that. Next we got our food. I was visiting family when they suggested we go to Biscuites Cafe for breakfast. I was expecting much when I realized it use to be a QT. We were there on a Thursday so it wasn't busy but I hear it gets pretty busy. I ordered a Mexican coffee and the server wasn't sure what I was asking for but someone there knew what I wanted and made a delicious Mexican coffee. The food was fantastic. HUGE portions and high quality food. I ordered and omelette with hash browns and biscuits. The homemade strawberry preserves were amazing!
