My friends and I came here one evening and sat outside, it was a nice evening the outdoor patio was packed. Our server was very attentive and gave amazing recommendations. I ordered the crab cake and that was phenomenal one of my favorite dishes, the server also recommended us to get the sacchetti porcini and truffle which was an amazing recommendations and one of my favorite dishes. Lastly ordered the tiramisu with baileys and phenomenal one of our favorite Italian places for sure.

This was our second time coming here and we absolutely love it!!! The drinks are so yummy and the fish tastes so fresh. The calamari was fire it was very soft not rubbery at all!!! we would definitely come back for a third time! Service was very good and attentive and the ambiance was romantic. The carbonara was thick and we wouldn't get that next time but i feel that's more for preference!

11.1.25 - been wanting to try this restaurant out and finally tried it! Was able to make reservations the day of. Tried to switch it to patio seating but it was already taken by the time I looked again. It's a cute little spot. Parking is always packed on the weekends in this area but I was lucky to find one nearby. Order: Old Fashioned x2 or 3 Other cocktail (don't remember which) x2 Prawn Cocktail Short Rib Pappardelle Chilean Sea Bass Everything was shared between two people. The appetizer was good. It's the same anywhere you get it. Both of the entrees were delicious! I loved the flavor of the short rib pappardelle sauce. The sauce on the sea bass was good too but out of two, I would choose the pasta. Kinda wished I had tried the cacio e pepe as well since they make that table side in the big cheese wheel. Will for sure get that as well as some other items next time!

Acqua di Mare was exactly what we needed. We went on a double date and from the moment we sat down, the vibe was warm, romantic, and quietly special. This is the kind of place where you slow down without being told to. The cacio e pepe finished tableside in the cheese wheel was both a fun little show and genuinely delicious. Not gimmicky, just very well done. The seafood risotto was fabulous, rich and comforting without being heavy, and clearly made with care. What really stayed with me though was the kindness. When they learned we were still grieving the loss of my mom, they surprised us with a free order of cannolis. Completely unexpected and incredibly thoughtful. Food was excellent, but that gesture made the night unforgettable.

The wife and I have walked by this place for years and always wanted to give it a try. However you pretty much need reservations to get a table at a decent hour. I finally bit the bullet and got later reservations for a Friday night at 8pm. The restaurant definitely had availability at that later seating. But would still recommend reservations. The cocktails were very good. Complementary bread was delicious. We started with the Octopus and it was cooked perfectly. My wife loved her Aqua Di Mare pasta and I really enjoyed my rigatoni. Can't wait to go back and try some of their other dishes!

Be transported to Italy... no passport required Tucked in downtown Chandler, Acqua Di Mare is the kind of place that makes you forget you're in the middle of the Arizona desert. From the moment you walk in, every detail is intentional--elegant, cozy, and effortlessly upscale without feeling stuffy. Indoor + outdoor dining Even in the PHX heat, the patio feels like a breezy Italian beachfront. By 5pm it's fully shaded, misters are on, doors are open, and soft Italian music sets the vibe. True Italian experience This is white tablecloth dining done right. Fresh plates and silverware with every course, impeccable service, and a team that hustles. Niko (the owner) is in the action--not sitting back--and Alex took incredible care of us. No freezers. Everything is fresh. They fly in their lobster. They fly in their meats. And yes... the 44oz A5 American Wagyu tomahawk from Durham, NC is as insane as it sounds. Tableside preparations (rare for this area!) - Tomahawk carved right in front of you - Fresh lobster prepared tableside - Pasta dishes finished in front of you - A unique, zesty tiramisu that's delicate and unforgettable That tomahawk? Two men shared it easily... and there was enough for a third. The vibe Think small Italian village energy--intimate, warm, and intentional. Even the artwork (hello Portofino vibes ) pulls you in. Small space = reservations are a must (They are expanding next door soon with a more casual bar + seating ) If you love elevated dining, fresh ingredients, and an experience--not just a meal--this place delivers. Support the mom & pops. This one is special

Gina drink. Perfectly balanced. Italian Breeze??
    Kenda V.

Why: Our 20th Anniversary. Waited too long to decide where to go. Found Acqua Di Mare using Yelp. Only reservation for our specific 5:30pm Sat nite time slot was Patio. Nervously agreed. LOVED IT! Delightful cocktail & wine menu. Started with a perfectly balanced gin drink. Not too sweet. Not too citrusy. Had 3 to be sure Ceasar Salad crisp, lightly dressed, beautifully plated. Two perky anchovies hanging out for visual delight. Full bodied moist Bread w nice crust came in chunks, no annoying cutting board/knife & crumbs. Say "Yes" to the fresh basil & a small spoon of salt. Delish. Mains (no pics, forgot lol). 1. Chilean Sea Bass was luscious. Perfectly seasoned. Moist & fluffy. Wilted spinach & lightly whipped mound of potato were a great way to sop. 2. The pasta in the Parmesan Wheel is OffTheHook Good. Fresh pasta. Creamy rich but not oily. Full bodied flavor & texture. Husband added chicken, came roasted on the bone. Yum. Grand Finale: Cannoli Full disclosure, I dont even like cannoli. THIS one changed my mind. Outside crisp, flavorful. Filling Light! Fluffy! Just sweet enough to enjoy, not like the dense Frosting you find in most restaurants. Beautifully Plated - Every Dish! NOTE: During dinner we were already discussing what we were going to order on our Next Visit ......and the next after that!

We've been here twice now, and both visits have been fantastic! I usually stick to the same dish if I love it, but on our second visit we decided to mix it up and order family-style--and I'm so glad we did. We had the Caesar salad, the sacchetti porcini & truffle pasta, and the beef Wellington, and everything was absolutely delicious. The Wellington was especially impressive--I've had one at a Gordon Ramsay restaurant, and this one truly measured up! On top of the amazing food, the service is wonderful. The owner is incredibly welcoming, and our server was attentive, friendly, and made the whole experience even better. Can't wait to come back and try more from the menu!

If I could give more than five stars, I would. Aqua Di Amare is hands down one of the best dining experiences in Chandler. I've been there at least 50 times, and every single visit has been consistently outstanding. Chef Leo absolutely delivers--every dish is crafted to perfection, full of flavor, and clearly made with passion. You can tell there's real pride in the kitchen. And Nicola, the owner, sets the tone for the entire place. His attention to detail and commitment to quality shows in everything--from the food to the service to the overall atmosphere. It's rare to find a restaurant that stays this consistent over time, but Aqua Di Amare nails it every single time. If you're looking for authentic, high-quality food and an amazing experience, this is the place. Highly recommend--you won't be disappointed.

Pasta and cheese sauce with fresh shaved truffle
    Will W.

This is a quaint Italian restaurant with a great outdoor porch. The pasta was fresh and the cheese sauce was made table side with fresh truffles shaved on top. The steak was baked in a pouch with vegetables. It was very tender and the vegetables savory. The service was impeccable with the waiter very attentive and well versed in wine.

I tried Acqua Di Mare for the very first time last night and I was pleased! This restaurant has all the coastal Italian vibes--and dare I say the flavors seem authentic?--Yes, absolutely! Service was superb; our server was very friendly and attentive. He recommended the seafood risotto and the carbonara. My partner and I both truly enjoyed our dishes. We will be returning to try more dishes. Stop by and enjoy!

Salad of the day - wedge with balsamic glaze and Parmesan cream dressing

A cute spot with good pasta from what we tried. I came here with my bf for my birthday. We both ordered the Cacio E Pepe. I got mine with shrimp and he had his with meat balls. The pasta was delicious however, the price for this pasta without the proteins is a little over priced. At the end I had to order the tiramisu, but was disappointed. The cream had an orange flavor that I was not a fan of.

I didn't know about this place until my friend wanted to visit for a little celebration. My friend sold me on the "pasta made with a cheese wheel" that I'm sure many of us have seen on Instagram, so I definitely ordered the Cacio e Pepe. We had the calamari (fried squid) as an appetizer, it was gone in minutes! My friends ordered the Acqua Di'Mare and the Short Rib Pappardelle, both were delicious from the tastes I had. The cacio was decadent and wonderful, I probably should've had a protein with it but it was also just as well without one. I enjoyed watching the server prepare it tableside and he was happy to answer any questions we had. Overall a great experience and I'll be back someday!

We shared their popular short ribs (they charged $2 for plate share) which were cooked to tender perfection and served over a creamy white bean puree. Delicious for sure! We finished with some of their Black Forest Cake which was the bomb! My last trip here though I had to ask about why the menu had stopped changing as often since we were one of two parties there in the middle of happy hour and there was a large framed picture of a bartender with a bunch of signed notes on the bottom of it beside me at the bar. It turns out that one of the oldest curators and bartenders of the bar and restaurant had passed from a drunk driving incident and I had not known at all! Gosh I was so disappointed in myself that I had ever complained about not having a new menu to try after that...but at the same time it was amazing to hear so many great anecdotes and to learn so much more about him and the history of the bar itself while dining this time. I had a lot of fun times at this bar - including remembering the first time I met that bartender and sharing that memory with the staff that told me their story. When we entered, we were advised to be seated wherever we liked with menus on a table to grab. Our server was over pretty quickly, and appreciated him offering an appetizer and entree suggestion. What We Ordered: - Cucumber Elderflower Spritz: I've been on a spritz kick since having one at the beginning of the year at Disney World. The perfect refreshing drink for a humid day after rain in July (2" in Apache Junction). Loved the cucumber and elderflower combination, and would definitely order again! - Shrimp Medina: The server recommended, and our favorite of the meal. The scampi butter with the heat of the red chili flakes was perfect. I'd honestly look to see if there is a pasta dish like this next time as that sounds like perfection. - La La Vodka: My friend ordered this, and said it was pretty good. She remarked how large it was and wish for a lunch portion that you could order half, but thankfully, we were heading back to her house after to be able to drop off leftovers. - Pasta Picante: This was recommended, but I wasn't all that fond of it. It was not really spicy, and I didn't like the sausage in the dish. It could have just been my preferences, but my friend ended up taking as leftovers her kids would enjoy. Overall, this place had both comfortable seating and comfort food. Italian is one of my favorite things to dine, and get that dopamine fix from pasta. I ordered the vegetarian pizza (with tomato sauce vs cheese to make it more vegan friendly). It was topped with artichokes, hearts of palm, and olives, and it was absolutely delicious!!! The flavors were well-balanced, and everything was seasoned perfectly. Between the excellent service and the outstanding food, this was a fantastic first experience. I'll definitely be returning!

We had bacon dates to start. These were tasty but not quite like we imagined. They were sweet and salty which was great. The blue cheese stuffing didn't quite jump out like we expected. For wine, my wife likes sweet wine. She tried the Riesling first, then the Moscato. Moscato was hands down her winner, it was sweeter. For me, I tried the Murphy Goode red blend and I enjoyed it a lot. Good balance, complexity, and smoothness. For the main course my wife had the Pasta Bolognese. It came with rigatoni noodles. The sauce was nice and thick and coated the noodles really well. It had a big robust flavor but wasn't overpowering. I had the Chicken Saltimbocca. The sauce was a bit on the sweet side for my preference due to what tasted like a bit of balsamic, but I still enjoyed it. The chicken was well cooked and tender. We tried a cannoli for dessert. The thing was huge! Shell was thick and crunchy. Filling was moderately sweet with a subtle brightness to it (like a touch of lemon). Ends were dipped in chopped pistachio.
