Today they also have a nursery area for plants, herbs & tree's. This is a throwback experience to when produce stands and markets were plenty. A true outdoor roadside market, the folks that work here a helpful and friendly, the last of it's kind around these parts and it beats the prices, freshness, selection of those inside farmers markets. Plenty of handmade goods and grown items in the pavilion, and a lot of indoor shops and restaurants to browse nearby as well. This place has far more than we expected! I love Bear Creek Park so I'm glad that the Farmer's Marker is located here. I tried chai tea from a food/drink truck and walked around to check out different vendors. The vendors I spoke with were friendly and shared their story of how they got started with me. I bought some macarons, Nutella hand pie, lavender felt kit and hyacinth seeds for gardening. There were plenty of local vendors and some food vendors available. There was live entertainment whiche as fun. The desserts I bought were delicious and I'm looking forward to working on my lavender felt kit, as well as planting seeds. If you happen to be looking for a fun event solo or with friends or family, I recommend stopping here. I look forward to my next visit to the Keller Farmer's Market.

Going to a farmers market you go with an expectation that you are getting local grown products,…read moreright? Well, today I saw that is a lie, I'm paying a farmers market price mark up for the same berries and things I could walk across the street and get at the big name grocery store. As I stood there in awe watching the girl take the strawberries from the plastic containers "from California" on the side- great from the poison insecticide place I was trying to avoid- and putting them into cute baskets to charge me 350% more I guess I will stop believing this is local and just go to the grocery store. This was really sad to see this place isn't shooting local farmers and selling local produce just the same stuff you can find at the store for less and get the same insecticide sprayed produce at less cost. There are some local products (honey and canned goods) but the produce and things are straight from the grocery store and made to "look" local.
