When I arrived it was pretty busy between noon and 1 PM But again it was opening day today. I was able to find parking about two blocks up. When I arrived, my jaw was completely dropping on how beautiful everything was displayed!!! and I did notice that almost every employee with the red shirt on smiled and said good afternoon. Extremely helpful as well. So let's get to the hanger baskets! They ginormous and huge!! such a beautiful display of so many different kinds ranging in different prices. And they also have many many carts on site for you to use. Which was extremely helpful. I ended up purchasing two hanging baskets and they were absolutely gorgeous. Hopefully I'll be back for more. The whole front area is kind of like a cool DIY play area. There's a basketball hoop, there's an area where kids can smack on different sounding metal objects. There's a corn feed area where there's little diggers and scoop trucks to play with that. You can meet the farm chickens and they sometimes event host events (we went during a popcorn time which was super cool to try different popcorn seeds as well as spiced popcorn with plenty of variety!) There is an area where you can pay to slingshot apples at a target in the middle of a field. There's a corn maze that we weren't brave enough to go in and the apple picking was really great. We selected a larger bag we stuffed it to the brim and we definitely had enough apples to Last us for weeks and my husband made an apple pie. We will definitely come back next season!

The property is attractive and has stuff for kids to do. They have a couple different stores along with their orchards. I didn't really spend much time in the stores and was a bit surprised by the prices for apple picking. But I will say they had really nice empire apples and I got mostly those. They have others too but they were mostly picked over already as the empires had just at been opened up for picking. Mostly I was happy to get out to Wisconsin away from the boring Chicago Southwest suburbs, into less populated areas. I made a pie with some of the apples and it was really good. I would probably come back.

I visited the location in the village of Mount Pleasant (near Racine, WI) to check out their 8-acre corn maze. The theme this year is the Loch Ness Monster, but I wouldn't let the theme influence you either way as it did not have a significant impact on the experience. The maze is divided up into different sections/quadrants that can easily be identified by different colored (blue, yellow, white, and green) strips running throughout the maze. The colors don't ruin the level of difficulty; they simply let you know that you are progressing into the next section and are really something of a safety measure. I moved at a relatively brisk pace and was unencumbered by small children. That said, it took me approximately 1 hour and 20 minutes to complete, walking roughly three miles. I thought it was a neat experience, and it gave me a nice touch of nostalgia as I haven't done a corn maze since I was a kid. I recommend checking it out, but I think it would be challenging to do at night or with children requiring a stroller as the ground is obviously dirt and not even. *Also make sure to use the restroom prior to entering

I used their interactive phone service but was put on hold and finally just hung up. I know from shopping at Milaegers for year that they can really get busy and sometimes it takes a while to have your call answered. No big deal and I was able to find what I was looking for elsewhere. Today, 10/30/25, I received a call from one of the managers at Milaegers stating that she had noticed that I had called their store and that my call had gone unanswered. She asked what I was looking for and did I still need to find what I needed. I explained that I had found what I wanted and thanked her for her call. She did not need to call me, but she though enough about their customers that she took the time to follow up on and unanswered call. This is what I call real service and is just another reason I enjoy shopping at Milaegers.

Rewards system is questionable. This has been going on for a few weeks They ask you to call to see if the system is up and running. What I'm not appreciating is transparency. If they don't want you taking a discount during the holiday , then state that the reward can be used after the New Year. I really find this very disappointing and unfair to the customer.
