I really came here because of the playground and ability to eat and see my kiddos play. You order food and then sit down. Service was very good! So kind and friendly I was pleasantly surprised by the kids meals and a small burger. The bread was very soft and the patty tasted fresh. I liked their sweet potato fries more than the regular fries. The regular fries were just shoe string fries, nothing fancy. I liked the self service sauces they had so I could dip my fries in them. I used one on my burger and enjoyed it. Well I wish I could say it was a good experience but that's not the case. It is counter service which was fine but the seating was very close together and basically picnic style tables in the dining area. Not good for the elderly. They brought the food out and off he went. No "can I get y'all anything else or hope you enjoy it. You could tell he didn't want to be there. My sister opened her sandwich and it was the worst piece of lettuce you could have served. She asked for a new one and he said " what's wrong with it"? Then rolled his eyes at her she said. The food wasn't the best and some was cold. Pros- The food was great. I had a chicken sandwich meal and my family had the bacon burger meal. The food is made fresh to order so it's hot and ready when they bring the food to your table. If you have littles they have a playground and a nice patio. Cons- At this location it smells like old pee when you walk in. The whole dining area smell like old pee too. It's very off putting. We came here for the first time on a weekday evening. It got fairly busy after we came in - more than what I'd expect for a weeknight. From what I've heard, it can get pretty packed on the weekends. We really enjoyed this place especially because of the outdoor playground. Our kiddo enjoyed playing there with other kids. It's clean and closed off and there's a good amount of seating for parents to sit and watch the kids. It was pretty hot out but there are a lot of fans set up in the outdoor seating area. Customer service was good. The gentleman who took our order was very nice. They were pretty quick with getting our order out. Food was good. We were all happy with what we ordered. Quality was good. Found Hat Creek Burger Company thru Yelp. Due to the volume of high ratings, I thought it would be a pretty safe bet on good food, and I wasn't disappointed. I ordered the Pretzel Jack and made it a combo adding Sweet Potato Fries and Unsweetened Iced Tea. My burger was juicy and flavorful. The pretzel bun was soft and tasty. Sweet Potato Fries - this is a challenge for most places that serve them to achieve some type of crunch instead of being limpy. Aside from that, the Fries had good flavor. The parking lot was packed on a Saturday afternoon, so I went through the drive-thru. Service was prompt, and the price was a bit steep for my combo meal (almost $16). We love this place! They have a covered outdoor area with seating for eating that is open to the playground for the kids, so you can eat and watch your kids play. It's great. We have even made little play date friends here! The food is pretty good. I love the keto burger bowl to cut down on carbs. It's very filling. But I've also had their regular burgers and they're also great! They have 3 sauces, a sweet, a mustard and a pepper sauce so a good variation of sauces for dipping your fries in. Hat Creek has its indoor seating and ordering area is a lot smaller than its outdoor/playground area. Interesting! Hat Creek is modernized and is well thought out. It made for the 2020s decade with a throwback to the 90's. Great for both adults and kids of today. I got the Big Hat burger and it was quite tasty! Definitely a step up from your normal fast food burger. The quality and taste is definitely a step up from that. However there are more gourmet burger places that you can find with a better product. We had a birthday planned at Main Event and they called us 45 minutes before and told us they had no power. We got an estimated time but never got a phone call or update. We took our kids here on a Sunday and the weather was perfect! Sat outside and let them play on the playground. Food was delicious- it's Nolan Ryan beef so it's great quality. The GM was working the drive-through and implied she wasn't wasting any time today. The turkey burgers moist, and tasty. One of the things that sets this burger apart from competitors, is that the vegetables are so fresh and crispy. I didn't get a chance to really survey the menu completely. But it did look like there's some other options I'd be interested in trying next time. The fries are comparable in size to McDonald's, but definitely have more of a homemade feel and taste. The regular size shake is a good portion, but slightly smaller than comparably priced or sized shakes at other locations such as Grub or Smashburger.
