Great skate shop very knowledgeable. Easy and convenient to get in and out. If they don't have it, they can get it.

If you're looking for a place to grab food or drinks before heading to the game, this is a great option. The space is huge and so much fun. I loved that it's completely decked out in hockey memorabilia, which gives it a ton of character. There's also a great outdoor patio and the back bar can open up, creating an indoor/outdoor space, which is great for nicer days! Even with how unbelievably busy it was, our server did a fantastic job. They stayed friendly, attentive, and checked in often enough that we never felt forgotten. The one letdown was the North Star nachos. They were decent, but definitely not something I'd order again. All of the chicken ended up piled on one side while most of the lukewarm nacho cheese was on the other, so every bite felt inconsistent. I was also hoping for shredded cheese instead of nacho cheese, and the jalapeños clearly weren't fresh. They still had a nice kick, though, which helped. Overall, I'd absolutely come back. The atmosphere alone makes this place worth visiting, and I'd love to give some of the other menu items a try next time. Just skip the nachos.

An institution located in downtown St. Paul close to the Grand Casino Arena, Tom Reid's Hockey City…read morePub is a crowded watering hole/shrine to hockey (mostly about the local team, but a few things related to my favorite team). My wife and I ate a pre-game meal with friends, and found the atmosphere to be crowded but friendly, with good bar food and a nice selection of drinks. We came about 2 hours before the start of the Wild-Blackhawks game, and the place was packed. It's seat yourself, and my wife was skillful in finding a very recently vacated booth for the four of us. Our waitress was very busy throughout, but pleasant enough, and got us our food as soon as it was ready from the kitchen. There are two different menus here, with a before game menu having similar items, but higher prices (definitely an example of supply/demand). My wife got Downeast Cider on tap ($9), which she really enjoyed. A French Dip sandwich with fries ($17) was decent, on a nice crisp/chewy french roll, with thinly sliced beef (pretty sure it's the same supplier for Italian Beef sandwiches). I got a Canadian Poutine ($14), which was great with the melted cheese curds and brown gravy. The fries were OK (the poutine would have been excellent with better fries). As a drink, I got a pint of Lift Bridge Mango Blonde ($8) which was excellent. Got to try some fried battered cheese curds, and they were very good....wish they had something like this back home. Tom Reid played in the NHL, playing mainly for the North Stars (when they were in Minnesota). He continued his association with Minnesota hockey by being the color commentator for the Wild. The bar was hung with many hockey memorabilia, and I enjoyed walking a bit to admire them before we left to go to the game.

Great business service was great the selection of bows and even the in door range wand nice to seeread more

There are not enough good things I can say about VaporTrail…read more The first time I needed a set of replacement strings on my bow, I had come across their company and decided to give them a shot. Since that time, they are the ONLY aftermarket strings and cables I've used on my bows. So far, I've only had experience with their VTX line of strings and cables, and the advertising is spot on. I couldn't be happier with the quality of the material. I usually pick up a few fps of speed with these cables, and they are very stable across variable temperatures; string creep is non-existent. The other side of VT that I love are their arrow rests. I am currently running the Pro-V on both of my bows and I couldn't be happier with them. Built solid; setup and tuning is a breeze. The only time I've considered changing rests is because I really have my eye on that Micro-Elite... which just looks awesome. But for now, I love the Pro-V, so I can't justify spending the money to replace something that is working perfectly. I have now purchased more than a few offerings from VT; strings, rests, accessories... all of them top notch. That is one thing I can say about VT without question; if its got the VaporTrail name on it, you know it's going to be quality. Just as important as a company's products, are the people who stand behind it. VaporTrail customer service is second to none. Thats not just my opinion, that is a FACT. I have never seen or experienced this level of service from any other company, in any industry. When you have questions or concerns, they respond immediately. They stand behind their products 100%. They will do everything that they can to assist you. Last year, I had an issue with my strings.... and it was actually due to something that I had been doing. But the guys over at VT worked with me, and went above and beyond to make sure that I was taken care of. I was blown away with their drive for customer satisfaction, and on that day they earned my loyalty. I can honestly say, from now on... if there is a non-factory string on my bows... they will be from VaporTrail. If you have not given them a look, or have been hesitant to make the jump... do yourself a favor and DO IT! You will not be disappointed... I do not hesitate to recommend VaporTrail to anyone. Phenomenal company with outstanding products.
