This store is massive. When you want to try a new import six pack that you have not tried before I would say Hatboro Beverages is a good place to find it. Prices aren't cheap but in line with other beer distributors. They also give you the occasional free beer cozy with your beverage purchase. The manager of this store, who acts like the owner, gives my wife the creeps. My wife will no longer go into the store with me if we don't have time to go anywhere else. I had nicely told the older gentleman who acts like the owner that he was being inappropriate around my wife, which he didn't seem too happy about. Still, I won't stand for someone touching my wife inappropriately. This guys creepy.... The owner on the other hand has always been very polite to us, she seems very nice. read more

Store has a great selection of beer, however it doesn't seem like anyone knows how long some of it has been there. Went in and picked up a 4 pack and a 12 pack. 4 pack was canned 4/05/19 and today is 3/19/20 and is completely skunked and disgusting. I will never step foot in here again, and have been coming here every Friday since 2019. Today, i was grabbing two cases on flights. and the one 12 pack was hung up on a six pack of bottles. the six pack began falling off the shelf. I caught the six pack, 3 fell out, glass shattered everywhere and i was soaked, the two guys working there, go clean up on isle 4 asked if i was ok, and we all laughed. I go to the front with 2) 12 packs of flights and a 12 pack of claws. The lady, "who i assume may own It" rung up 3) 12 packs of flights and a 12 pack of claws. I say, excuse me, you hit it three times, she adjusted it for a 6 pack now, and i said what's that for, she goes you broke a 6 pack, i said on accident not on purpose, she then asked if her guys did it or me. And i said no it was me, and it was an accident, and she proceeded to say, well we don't get paid out for broken bottles. I reply back with, it was an accident and I'm not paying for that, she did remove it, but to not cause if the customer was ok or cut by the class she's cared about the a monetary value of a six pack. will never spend another dollar there. i have never done a review before, and it's said this place had to be my first. shame i even have to give a star as well read more

Great place to find any kind of beer. They carry all the popular brands and as best that I can tell all the local stuff including Yards, Kenzinger, Walt Witt, Victory etc. Another thing I like about this place is that I see his advertisement on the back of local theater programs like the Arden and other theaters. I live closer to Hatboro bev. But I drive 1/2 mile farther, why .. When I get home I like to have a COLD beer. Not place it in the freezer for 30 min.When I exit the cold box in your store , yes not one time,it's 45 to 50 degrees on the display as you exit.Listen, I like you guys but the beer should be cold. You are loosing my business over 8 degrees. And don't use the " door has been open" line , your tripping over dollars to pick up pennies. read more

I'm not the beer drinker in our family, however hubby who loves his beer thinks this place is the best, and he won't patronize any other beer distributor in the area! Sure, they have the standard stuff you find anywhere, but what sets them apart is their supply of craft beers, local beers and imports. The guy who runs the place really knows his stuff. My husband will describe what he's looking for, and the owner knows exactly what to recommend and normally hits a home run with my husband every time. The selection here is extensive and always changing with the seasons. The staff (owners??) are unfailingly pleasant and very helpful. They are knowledgeable and willing to discuss beer with anyone. There have been numerous times when I've been given a free bottle of beer with my purchase as a "thank you". The only drawback at the place is that prices are not easily available. The staff will look up anything you'd like, but it'd be so much better if they were posted, especially since so many of their beers (and all of the ones that I look at) are relatively expensive craft, import, or local microbrews. read more

Owner is a loudmouth womanizer. Prices are higher than most other PA distributors but the owner thinks he can get one over on you by selling "specials" - basically old beer that the warehouse can't get rid of so they try to sell it to you. Watch the age of their other beer as well. No climate control so non fast moving beer can see wide temperature swings. Also, watch out for open cases or re-taped cases. I have been burned by missing bottles or oddball fill-ins. read more

I can't brag enough about Hatboro Beverages! We just had a wedding at Rosebank Winery in Newtown PA where they have kegerators permanently placed there. So here is my experience with Hatboro Beverages... The moment I walked into their facility they treat you like their close friend. On our wedding day Bert delivered on a Sunday morning (holiday weekend before 4th of July!!! He was so friendly and happy! AND here is the kicker!, I only went to their facility one time before to set up plans for our wedding day...a week later I passed by and decided to walk in and buy a couple of cases for personal use, an employee must have recognized me but didn't say so, so on my wedding day Bert brought those cases of drinks with him because the employee couldn't remember if I left the store with them or not. So he brought them just in case!....this is a group of people who look out for their customers with friendship and love!...I will be driving further to give my future business to Hatboro Beverages! read more
