Good to know before you go- there's a $1.50 charge for paying card, but there's an ATM in the back. I'd suggest coming prepared with cash so you don't have to get charged an ATM fee either! Hatch Nail Bar is my new go-to nail salon! The business was bright and inviting. Everything was kept clean and smelled great. There were a lot of seats for manicures and pedicures and a lot of staff. I was able to walk in and not wait at all! There were SO MANY colors to choose from, all in regular polish, gel, or dip. I only wish the massage of my pedicure was more of a massage rather than just rubbing oil on my legs, but everything felt great. The hot stones were my favorite. I absolutely love my pedicure. There wasn't even a drop of stray polish. The care and precision were amazing. I'll definitely be back regularly! read more

One of my favorite nail spots!! Some of my best acrylics have been done here. All of the nail artists are great and all do wonderful designs. My only complaint is that I have had a few instances where one artist in particular is extremely pushy and always tries to upsell. But if you're the type of person that can say no easily than you'll be fine. Other than that this place is great. The inside is also extremely clean and beautiful. Highly recommend!! read more

My second time to this place and I will not be coming back. The first time was for my nails. I got gel, which is supposed to be stronger than normal polish. However, the guy who did them was in a rush to get me in & out (which I didn't understand because they weren't busy - I went in the morning). After that, 2 of my fingers were already chipped days after. The second time was for my toes. I came back to give the salon another shot, but I shouldn't have. I got the basic pedicure, which I've done sooo many other times at sooo many different salons. When I tell you that this was the most basic (& again rushed) pedicure, it's not an exaggeration. I had polish that needed to be removed & it wasn't removed properly. Meaning there were still spots left on multiple toes (pictured). I asked about it multiple times (if she was going to clean it up during the pedicure part) & she kept saying yes. At one point, she did try to pretend like she couldn't hear me. She was about to paint over it with my new color when I asked again & she pretended to look confused. After that was finally settled, the new polish part was HORRIFIC (pictured). At this point, I wanted to leave since the lady was basically ignoring me, but decided to stay since I was almost done. It didn't get better - the scrub & lotion part literally took SECONDS I was shocked. And it still doesn't end there. She then tried to charge me an extra $20 for "gel removal" - I had normal polish. Absolutely the worst pedicure experience I've had. read more

I started going to this place when the first opened. I do think their prices are pretty high. Their pedicures are good and I love how they shaped their nails. They have knowledgeable nail techs! When it comes to making appointments, you might as well not make them because I always find myself waiting about 15 minutes. I also wish they were more transparent with the costs for nails because when you sit down you are told one price but they nickel and dime you for things such as shapes or length (that's not even long in my opinion). Everyone is pretty nice though! You might have difficulty finding parking due to them sharing parking lots with other businesses. read more

Great nail salon here in Suffolk. The interior is fresh and modern, in all white it feels clean and fresh. I got a powder dip manicure and gel pedicure, they did a fantastic job. They have an atm machine in here plus I think they do waxing services. I was able to walk right in on a Saturday and be seen immediately. Definitely will come back to check them out again! read more

I've been going to Hatch for about 2 years now & absolutely love it! I drive from hampton & when I was residing back in rva, I made the drive because the quality, service, & atmosphere is that worth it. I go to Mindy & she's she sweetest! This place was such a delight. Ive been to some salons where they are rough and it looks unhygienic so I have anxiety when someone ask me to accompany them. However, this salon was very personable and clean. My nail tech ensured to be gentle and considerate of my preferences, it was like she didnt even touch me! 2nd and last visit! Mike did a good job. Vibe was chill until you question why a basic pedicure listed for $35 is now $49. This "salon" is straight robbery!! If you have gel polish on toes and choose regular polish the next pedicure, you are charged an extra $10 to have it removed. If you choose gel polish there is no removal charge but a $18 gel polish charge. Still a service fee for cash? I guess because I don't get my nails done here, it's an issue. These shops are crazy!! SMH The girl at the front has no clue as to what is going on. I'll go back to my original shop where I can get all the perks without paying for every little thing!! read more

Not only is this nail salon beautiful, but the staff is so friendly and professional! They took the time to make sure everything was sanitized before I sat down and made me feel so comfortable. Kayla is an absolutely rockstar !!! She found the PERFECT color for me and have my hands looking better than they ever had ! Worst salon experience I've had. Nail tech was rude, overcharged me after extensively discussing the price, cut 3 fingers to bleed and wax rough with me the whole time. On top of that, my polish peeled just an hour after I left. DO NOT GO HERE. they tell you one price and charge another. read more

They do a very great job but over charge so much! I got a new set ombré and asked for name design and one gem on each nail plus a basic pedicure. $275!!!! she took it upon herself to add all the other gems, but then charged me for it after. I will never go to a place and pay $300 for a set of nails and a basic pedicure. This isn't Beverly Hills. If they think you have the money they up charge you. Plus if you use a credit card they charge a 2% fee if not using cash. I will NEVER go back with those insane prices. read more

Mindy was 30 mins late for one appointment and an hour late for another appointment, I did not complain either time because she does good nails, The hospitality is not great, she will pull your hands and jerk you around to where you have your elbows sitting in an awkward uncomfortable position. I've been to many salons and never was placed in such an awkward position every time. She also will rush you to pick your color. This was my experience every time that I visited and I never once complained. I also always tipped well but I'm done with being ok with less than treatment just because she does good work in the end. If I'm going out for a nail spa day I should be able to enjoy it. I will not be back. Customer service matters and it is lacking there. read more

I came in with two of my friends. We are on vacation and wanted a place to get our nails done on a rainy day. Hatch did great! I came in for a gel manicure with design and it was $47. There is a $1.50 credit card fee. Winnie did my nails and she made sure I liked it and it was correct multiple times, which was lovely! She also put on some cuticle oil, which I've never had at a salon before. The hearts on my manicure are a little crooked and large, but that's okay. She would have fixed it if I wanted. My friend got a regular pedicure and they look great. We called about an hour in advance. There was little to no wait. When we got there, we sat for about 5-10 minutes before being taken back (which was much shorter than the wait time they gave us). The only problem we had with Hatch was with the full set. It took almost two hours for one color. He was taking much longer than needed and we were getting frustrated. Additionally, the tech said he couldn't do lengthy nails... aka not much longer than the finger. No reason was given as to why. Kind of disappointed. read more

Overall not a great experience. The greeting wasn't really friendly at all. The pedicure was very rough. Just the pushing back of my cuticles hurt. The color I choose I will attach a picture of and the color it came off on my toes was a completely different color. I understand maybe they used a base to show the color but that should have been communicated to me. They said it would need to be very very thick to come out like the color I wanted which was the color they advertised. She was able to find a somewhat better color that still wasn't close to what I wanted but I let it go. Then for my hands they apparently charge for length and shaping the nail. I would understand if the length was super long. But my nails aren't. I will attach a pic of the final result and my nails were just a bit longer than the pic. They were also already round they did a take off which I understand charging for the take off but to shape the nails never have I been charged for that. $130 for gel pedicure, take off and gel manicure with design Very expensive compared to other places. I also noticed once I got home the pedicure was horrible I had polish on my foot. Very sloppy work. read more

I went to Hatch Nail Bar today with my date. My date and I decided to get pedicures. I got the basic package. The basic package incudes a foot soak in a disposable lined whirlpool foot tub, nail trimming, shaping, cuticle care, light lotion, a pampering treatment, sugar scrub, light callous treatment, hot stones, and a hot towel. My feet and toenails were not bad but after the pedicure I noticed the difference. My feet looked better. The young lady who did my pedicure did a good job. My dates pedicure and repainted nails looked good also. We will be coming back. read more

So ladies if you have hairy toes, please get that removed! Hairy toes are not attractive in any way!!!.. I took off one star because the lady asked me if I was paying cash because the price was $35 but I told her I was using a card. Then I said ok I will pay cash but when I got to the register the man charged me $37. Some where there was a communication gap, but I left a tip and departed!. I would return again...

I also noticed they don't really clean up your cuticles, which I wasn't a huge fan of. I also feel like they don't quite give you that "pampered" experience. I've been to a few nail salons where they massage your legs/feet during a pedicure and even put your flip-flops back on for you afterward. Maybe I'm spoiled, but I honestly thought that was a pretty normal thing at nail salons! My pedicure was very quick and efficient, though. I only got the classic pedicure, which was about 30 minutes. I also LOVE their color selection, especially the amount of neutral shades they have. One thing I really didn't like was the cleanliness around the nail stations. When you're sitting in the manicure area, there were pieces of acrylic on the floor from previous customers. It definitely takes away from the experience. The second time I came, I tried builder gel and I MUCH preferred it. It's thinner than the powder dip but still gives your natural nails protection. They also did a really good job shaping my nails, which I appreciated. Overall, I like the convenience, huge selection, quick service, and their color choices. I think I'll stick with builder gel here going forward or keep looking for cheaper salons!

I finally got around to trying Hatch Nail Bar, and I'm so glad I did. I initially stopped by for a walkin mani & pedi. I made an appointment for the next day, and the experience was lovely from the moment I walked in. The salon is tucked between Starbucks and Subway, which makes it super convenient to grab a drink beforehand. Inside, it's bright, clean, and has the cutest flower wall, perfect for a photo op. The vibe is super chill, helped by a great playlist that just sets the tone for a relaxing self-care session. I went in for a pedicure and left feeling totally refreshed. I even got a little bee design on one toe that I'm honestly obsessed with. For more detailed nail art, I'd probably visit another spot, but Hatch is definitely a place I'll be returning to for regular pedis. My daughter and I recently visited for gel manicures, and while the service was swift, the experience was deeply disappointing. My daughter's nail tech was warm and attentive, making her feel special despite her young age of 10. Unfortunately, my own experience was starkly different. My tech was disengaged, wearing earbuds and barely communicating, and the quick service felt impersonal. The real heartbreak came when we were charged full price for my daughter, contrary to what their website promised for children her age. After repeatedly being questioned about her age and told she didn't qualify for the "kids" rate, I left feeling embarrassed and disheartened. The Gold Standard for Self-Care! I cannot recommend Hatch enough! I always leave my appointments feeling like a brand-new person. The biggest game-changer for me is Mindy. As a fellow perfectionist, I'm usually pretty picky about my nails, but with Mindy, I never have to ask for a single correction. She gets it right the first time, every time. Her attention to detail is truly unmatched! I recently went in with an idea for Christmas confetti nails, and Mindy was so amazing and open-minded about the design. DO NOT go here the boss does not care about the employees nor their feelings. I could name a lot that happened in two or three weeks of training. but i'll just start with she(mindy) threatened me saying "Do it right or i'll find someone else" in front of all the other employees and clients over something very minor.
