We paid one of the big HVAC companies to come out and see what the problem was and the recommendation ranged from $3,300 to patch the system up (with all the things the repairman said was broken) and wait a week to get the part in or spend $8,800 to get a new system (if I hurried to get their July special)...otherwise the price would be $12,440 without the special. I told them I needed him to write all that down so I could talk to my husband. My husband said to get a 2nd estimate and my friends said to call Dorroh. All my friends said they are honest and fix small things for hundreds not thousands of dollars. AND THEY WERE RIGHT!! Dorroh's rep assessed the problem, repaired a capacitor that was faulty, and all totalled, I have working AC again for $140. Thank you Dorroh.
