Here for the wine club dinner. Flank steak is tremendous and the service is great. As you can see by the pictures surrounded by wine barrels creates a wonderful ambiance. Oh the wine? Incredible try the 2017 Reserve 2nd crop Zinfandel.

The wine is good, too bad the service isn't the same. You can be meet with an Egocentric "gentleman " serving you. Poor customer service. He even treated his employees rudely in front of customers The Cave feeling walking into the tasting room is cool though.

Hatcher Winery was recommended to me by a few people so naturally I went to Yelp for more details. Dear Lord...the reviews! Hysterical (and slightly accurate). Let's dive in, shall we? I was actually nervous to taste at Hatcher because of what I read on Yelp. Thankfully, my friend is a regular and she assured me we would be in good hands. There is a certain etiquette here. Allow me to elaborate: -Do not enter loudly. This is a serious tasting room and your boisterous bachelorette party is not welcome. -You will most likely encounter Sewell. He owns the winery with his brother. Sewell is tatted up, straight forward and likes to tell crass jokes. He's basically the Wine Nazi. Follow his rules or pay the price. -Do not eat the sourdough bread they make before securing a tasting. You will be punished. -Your group needs to drink varietals at the same time. Do not deviate from this. If all that hasn't scared you off, I promise that the wine is excellent and you get to try A LOT of varietals! Also, the sourdough bread they make is delicious. Sewell definitely isn't everyone's cup of tea, but you probably aren't either.

Went during the Witch Walk. There were only 2 other couples in there but we were almost ignored. She was nice but barely had any interaction with us. Wine was ok. I bought a bottle just to waive my tasting fee, the fee was either $20 or $25.

For $20 for wine tasting they barely serve you any. And the owner was cocky and rude when we asked for a bag for the wine bottles he just threw it down on the counter and walked away. For it being my sisters first time time there, she told one of the girls working there he walked back and asked what's the problem, my sister told him she didn't appreciate the way he threw the bag down and walked away. His response was "Well don't ever come back if you don't like it. shocked!! To say the least. Never ever again. Should of walked out when we heard him being rude with other lady when we first arrived on the other side of us.

Not even a hello nor welcome when we walked in! Supposedly it's a popular spot, it's not visible on Main Street, tiny tasting room. Packed with 2 big groups! We stayed around looked at T-shirt's and a few boxes of wines on the floor! Then we left! Don't come here if you want this service! There is another 30 wineries/tasting rooms in the Main Street that would greeted you warmly and welcome you in!

Hidden gem in Murphy's. Wines were great and reasonably priced. They had one worker only and she was on top of it.

As you drive up, you're greeted by gorgeous landscaping and flowers everywhere -- the setting alone makes you want to slow down and stay awhile. We did a wine tasting and really enjoyed the wines. The Sauvignon Blanc was especially good -- crisp, refreshing, and perfect for a warm day. The Pinot Noir was also a standout, smooth and easy to sip. You can tell they put care into their wines, and there was something for everyone in our group to like. The grounds are spacious and peaceful, with views, gardens, and plenty of spots to wander or sit and relax. It feels more like an experience than just a quick tasting stop. The woman helping us was a bit reserved, but still helpful as we made our selections. Overall, Ironstone is a lovely place to visit if you're in the area -- great wine, beautiful scenery, and a relaxing atmosphere that makes for a memorable outing.

He made this adventure one of a kind and the best tasting experience we have ever had. We walked around the property found out in September there is a car show and got to see how beautiful of a wedding venue they offer. Buck told us multiple stories about the history of Ironstone and the area. The bites with the tasting were absolutely delicious and paired so well. I have food allergies and they accommodated my needs with no issues at all. The wine was wonderful and I can't wait to go home and enjoy them with dinner or dessert. Thank you Buck for make this a memorable experience and sharing your experience with us!

They are located just outside of Main Street where most of the tasting rooms are located, so it is a perfect place to stop on your way in to town. The grounds are charming and filled with a garden and outdoor pavilion for wine club members. A perfect place to enjoy your wine flight on a lovely day! Upon stepping inside you feel a sense of calm not only for the cozy atmosphere but the lovely lavender fragrance from the lavender bundles. Kirsten the owner is a fantastic hostess. She is a wealth of knowledge about her family's winery and history in the farming industry. The wine list was presented to us and we were encouraged to relax and enjoy the experience. Don't mind if we do! We made our way to the tables within the barn and commented what a perfect place to gather with friends and family while enjoying some delicious wines! Our flights were brought to our table on the cutest little serving tray along with some tasty treats to enhance the experience. Every single wine was delicious! I'm not a fan of big jammy reds at all and none of the reds gave that taste. I'm obsessed with their rosé and Aspen white blend. The Sequoia red blend is also a favorite. We were so impressed with the quality and flavor of the wines as well as the entire tasting experience. If you are looking for a new wine tasting experience in Murphys I highly encourage you to give Locke Vineyards a try. Cheers!

Unfortunately, Locke Winery was not a good experience for our family this time. This was incredibly…read moredisappointing because we had been the summer before and loved both their wines and their hospitality. We had even bought several bottles from them. This year we went with a group of 8 adults and 2 children and brought food with us for lunch. To be fair, they have a no outside food policy but we didn't realize that until we arrived. They only allow wine club members to bring in outside food. My husband asked if it was ok if our two kids even had a small snack because they were hungry, but the owner's daughter's response was "no, food is food." We went to eat sandwiches out in the parking lot before doing a tasting, which we were really looking forward to and had highly recommended it to our family. However, the owner's daughter came out and said, "Sir, I don't know what is going on here but I am not ok with this." We told her ok, that we'd leave but we were disappointed. She continued to say it's the state's rules and not her's, which is entirely untrue. She then said it was her property and she could make the rules. She continued to lecture us until I let her know she had made herself clear and we had already told her we were leaving. The owner, her father, came out to try and talk to us but we were done at that point. We understand that they have the right to make their own rules, but the snippy and untrue approach is what completely turned us off. Locke just lost money on multiple tastings, purchases, and recommendations to others.
