Husband liked his coffee though. I would never suggest going back here but it may be for you.

If there was an option for zero stars I would have chosen that. I have always enjoyed your coffee and was so excited to go back this morning only to be met with an overwhelming amount of political propaganda. It is very clear that this shop does not serve the community but rather a political agenda. People want to be in community with one another and gather and this shop does not promote unity nor diversity in opinion. Will never go back here. Higher grounds/local lion are safer spaces for those looking for a shop that really serves the community. read more

While visiting Boone with some friends, we stopped here to try it out and were blown away by the drinks, staff and atmosphere. The mocha nitro is absolutely amazing, especially if you love chocolate milk. We ended up going both days we were in town and had a great time talking with the two girls working. SO friendly, fun to talk to, and helpful. The inside is a little small, but very cute and a nice quiet place to get some work done. Will definitely be back!! They also have really cute mugs, like this one I got! read more

He is an owner and a Marine Veteran. We had some good laughs and I learned a lot about Banner Elk and the surrounding area. After visiting Fred and Larry's Coffee the first time, I realized I wanted to make exploring local coffee shops a part of my life; and here I am almost 500 coffee shops later. On my second trip I enjoyed a cortado while relaxing on Fred and Larry's big comfy leather couch. The barista was super friendly. She is definitely an incredible asset to the shop.
