May I just say that having this business look at my car was a big win for me. I took my car (Honda fit) in because AC was not working and it also kept "dying" on me. Quickly did he find the first problem and fix it as did the second AC problem was resolved just as fast. Other shop had quoted a $3k price tag and over here it was a fraction of that. 5 star experience from beginning to end. Dave and Russell are both friendly, down to earth gentleman. I coordinated my repair with Russell, who shoots straight, is very detailed in his answers, and explains concepts in layman's terms so you understand what is going on with your vehicle and what needs to be done. It's not easy finding honest people, much less honest mechanics, and I can say from my experience Russell is both. I was expecting my vehicle to be in his shop overnight as it was a significant amount of work which needed to be done, however much to my surprise I received a call the same day in the afternoon letting me know it was ready for pickup (I couldn't make it until the next day and he assured me that was no problem, they keep all vehicles indoors overnight, so no need to worry). He even lowered the cost at the end by not having to do additional work which he initially thought may have needed to be done, again much to my surprise and delight. I can say this about very few people in this world, but I would trust Dave with my wallet. Honest, trustworthy and highly competent. Sad when you take someone who does superior work for granted. Every time I need work done on my car I don't think about whether he will do the work well or that he will be fair about what he charges. I've had major repairs where I've priced the work at the dealership and Dave is always a fraction of that price and the work is always as good if not better. Dave can sound a bit intimidating over the phone, especially if you have never met him in person, but it is only because he is no nonsense and knows exactly what he is talking about. He is a trustworthy mechanic and is extremely good natured, always cracking jokes. I've been bringing in my Honda Accord Hybrid to him for years now and he has helped me with everything from oil changes to transmission problems. Dave always makes sure to give the best and most affordable options for service. For example, my AC stopped working and Dave figured out that all that was needed was a simple charge. If I had gone to the Honda dealership, I would have had to replace the compressor for hundreds of dollars more. read more

My in laws recommended this shop to my husband and I and I thought Dave was very kind. Initial phone call was average for a last minute drop off. I had left a voicemail about an hour before they opened and I got a call back about 30 minutes before they even opened so I rushed over when the owner said he would make time to service my car. Dave can come off rude at first but only if you don't ask the right questions. (Or make an appointment in advance) I came in as walk-in and right off the bat he immediately disregarded my presence. As with any business and especially around the holidays, it is recommended to make an appointment with Dave ahead of time. Just give him a call. Luckily, he made some time for me and I was able to leave my car with him. He is willing to help you and he does value his customers. Brought my vehicle in and Dave fixed it in a snap. (Took 2 days) Of course, with all mechanics, the price is something you just have to accept. He does give you an estimate but also charges a small fee ($40-$60) to diagnose your vehicle.
