These tamales are made with yellow corn meal and simmered in a WELL seasoned broth! These tamales were so seasoned, warm, and good. I only wish it had a little more meat. But overall they were perfect. I got a half dozen for $9.99. The menu had other items as well. I ordered a mango lemonade. My lemonade was so tasty! The service was fast and friendly. The desserts on the line didn't look appealing, but one of the staff told us that we could choose from various cakes as we got closer to the check out. What I saw next was inexplainable! I looked at the area with the cakes and it was in complete disarray (look at my pictures). There was a guy cutting store bought cakes and putting them in individual containers. The area was messy and the entire setup was unprofessional. While we were eating, I looked over to the food line and a guy was stirring food with one hand and talking on his cellphone with the other. Again, very unprofessional and unsanitary. One of the waitresses was also constantly drinking in front of the drink machines. The only plus worth mentioning is that the restaurant itself is nicely decorated. This place has a long way to go, so I'm not certain I'll be returning.
