I took my two grandchildren here on a really hot day on the boardwalk. The air conditioning was very enticing. My younger grandchild did not want to play golf, I think she was a little frightened. But my other grandson and I were going to play a round. I had to pay full price with the younger grandchild who did not play. This place is already more expensive than the other mini golf courses on the boardwalk. I really thought this was very poor idea to charge a non-plane a child. On a good side, it's a nice golf course to play. And it is air condition. read more

Me, my sister, and my grandmother went here, and my sister did not want to golf. But they said if they come in, you have to pay for them to golf. My grandmother ended up spending an extra 18+ dollars for someone who didn't even play. The only good parts were the air conditioning because today was really hot and the visuals. read more

Let's bring this one up to the current. What's still good about this course is that they provide the obvious niche of being the only OC course that is indoors. Great in summer when it's 110 in the shade, raining cats and dogs or the boardwalk could have a February glaze of snow on it and...they're still open. The one pseudo-negative is like many others have mentioned, if you go in season when there are a lot of people playing, the holes in the black light room are stacked on top of each other and it always feels like you're in somebodies way or someone is in your way. There are many places you could get your putt-putt on in OCNJ and to me Haunted is somewhere in the upper-middle of the pack. It's nowhere near the worst (Goofy Golf) but also nowhere near the best (Tee-Time). Is it different? Of course, indoor with black lights always will be. Is the course "scary"? No. Is the course hard? No. Is it what you would expect from an OCNJ cheesy putt-putt course? You bet. read more

Have come here the past few years with my family and each time has been enjoyable. The building and golfing area is clean and well maintained, each hole has a different theme and skill level. There are multiple rooms that you walk through when moving to each course. Spooky music, lights and attractions fill each room as you walk through the building. The golfing areas are flat and taken care and not torn up or worn out. At the end of the day it's a fun place to go, will come back next year. read more

The course starts and ends pretty lame but some of the holes in the middle were more exciting. I liked all the black lights and fun little scenes in the different rooms. It's not very spooky which makes it good for kids as well, it's very tame as far as the haunted theme goes but it was still nice. It's different!!! It's dark as expected but not scary. How could it be? Especially when you're trying to concentrate putting. It's cute and great for the kids. Since it wasn't crowded, there were no conflicts with social distancing. I have a free mini golf ticket for Haunted Golf, however they won't let me go back with my 6 year old son if I'm not playing. Am I to send my 6 year old through by himself? Extremely rude, pointing to a sign that all golfers have to pay. My son won a free game, I'm not having him go by himself. My guess is the sign is for teenagers, not parents. This is more peculiar considering the amount of age restrictions at the OCNJ boardwalk now. You would want kids going thru with a parent so things aren't vandalized. For a general review, this is Not a very creative course to begin with. Disappointed and I don't recommend wasting your time here where they want 6 year olds to go into the dark hallway by themselves. lol read more

Coming in at $9 during the day is a bit pricey. That's close to $40 for a family for a round of mini golf. I will say on the plus side it's indoors so you can beat the heat and the sun on a hot day. It's air conditioned and dark on the interior with black light decor. The decorations inside are some of the best for mini golf and it's has good music playing inside. Golf itself isn't easy as there are not guiding rails to give you a hole in one. A bit more challenging but depending on what your looking for this might be the right place for you. read more

When the first mini golf place we tried to go was cash only we went to the next closest one which was Haunted Golf. It was $8.95 per person (before 6pm which after the price jumps to $9.95). We were looking forward to being in air conditioning but we were kind of under whelmed. The good: There are some cool spots in the course which are lit by neon lighting. The golf balls glow in the dark which give a cool effect. Additionally some of the decor was really neat and they played good music. The bad: The holes were on the most part basic. Some of the rooms has really cool decor then others were very sparse. We flew through the course in under 30 min. Not sure if the ac was turned on low but it wasn't very cool inside. Overall if you want a place to kill some time to get out of the sun this can fit the bill but it will be a much shorter experience that you are used to. Also the decor isn't very scary if that's your thing. Lots of kids. read more

Along the boardwalk there's many, many mini golf places, but I actually liked this one a lot. $9.95 per person for the 18-hole course, which is under black light going through a haunted mansion. Course is indoors and air conditioned with music playing in each room. Overall the vibes were good and it's 'silly Haunted' more than scary haunted (ghost wedding, animals talking on the wall, exc.). Light, fun atmosphere. No water features, bht has a few different cool holes and longer (holes individually) than some other courses on the boardwalk. A couple holes have trick shots to get a hole in one. I had a great time and would do it again. read more

This review is for the walk through Haunted House attached to Haunted Golf. The only thing scary about the walk through haunted house is the PRICE!!! No need to do this again.......or even once!!! After spending a few hours out doors on the boardwalk and the beach we wanted to cool off so a nice indoor round of mini golf sounded like a great idea. We decided to give Haunted Golf a try and we were not disappointed. I appreciated the creative attention to detail and the themed holes throughout the course. What sets this course apart from other indoor mini golf courses is that it is mini golf course that has some black light areas, not every thing is fully black light, that is a nice change of pace for most indoor courses. They have about 5 or 6 different areas, each one is themed different and only one of them is in black light. This Halloween themed mini golf course is something out of a horror film. They have props, noises, and motion-activated parts, that distract and scare you while you play mini golf. Although this place is for kids and up, I wouldn't be surprised if some adults got scared of these props as they are very affective in achieving their job. They even do a good job working some humor into the different rooms. The holes were also unique enough to keep it interesting. Overall it isn't a long mini golf course but it sure does create a experience while playing it. If you have any extra time you should really try this place even if it's just once; you should really stop by and take a look. read more

For about $10 a person you too can play at the haunted golf! It's a fun, upbeat place that features different "spooky" golf rooms. It is friendly, not so scary environment. It is a perfect place to escape to while walking the boardwalk on those hot and humid nights. The air conditioning is super refreshing with spooky music playing. You can't beat it! Wish I could put zero stars. Not family friendly at all. No strollers (umbrella) allowed inside and only paid golfers on course. I have a three year old who needs assistance with golfing. I had to pay for us both ($12.95 regardless of age) to do the course, in addition to my older child and husband. Staff is rude and unhelpful. There are many other better mini golf places on the boardwalk! Midevil fantasy golf was so much better! read more

Haunted golf allows for a brief respite from the sun-or in today's case, rain. Cost was 7 dollars per person...went to 8 after 5 pm. the theme is well executed; animated special effects are cute, funny, entertaining, not overly scary.the course itself is ok....but not very interesting in layout, degree of intrigue, elevation changes, or thematic integrity. so, while the surroundings are entertaining, the golf isn't. best holes are towards the end. One minor annoyance was the lack of standing room between holes...nowhere to stand while waiting for that slow group ahead! Also of note, the final ball collector is like a pachinko game, and we scored free games on 3 of our 5 balls. nothing wrong with that! I'm glad we played it since it's opening last year, but I doubt it will be a.yearly tradition. read more

I have been to countless mini golf places and I think this is officially my favorite! The course is very well decorated! The first room is a monster wedding. Second, you have a library with animatronic animal heads telling jokes. While I could have done without the pooping rhino in the third room, my kids thought it was the best! You finish in a toxic waste room. The course is reasonably challenging and the ac is a welcome break on a hot day! If you play before 6:00 there is a discount and they will give you a coupon for their nearby Gorilla golf. Will be making this a yearly place to visit in the summer during our vacation! read more

Best mini golf I've ever done in regards to the setting. I've been playing a lot since I was a kid and in different locations. The only thing that could use improvement would be the creativeness in structure of each hole. The air felt great and I honestly felt a piece of Disney's Haunted Mansion going through. I read this in another review and thought, yeah right! Disney's Haunted Mansion is one of my favorite attractions and I thought it can't compare, it can't lol, but I did get that vibe. We won two free games in the end out of 7 people which else where is unheard of. Good job for a boardwalk activity/attraction...and way affordable. read more

A decent mini golf course on the Ocean City boardwalk. Prices are pretty much in line with the other mini golf courses. This is an air conditioned indoor course so probably a good idea to do on a really hot day or with bad weather (more so than the outdoor courses). It is decorated very well with some neat lighting in some of the areas. The big problem with this place is that it is very small and there is not a lot of standing room off the holes, this was especially problematic for us because it was very busy when we were there. Ended being a little loud and chaotic at times. Still, would recommend checking it out if it's not too busy. read more

Every Summer I visit Ocean City for a "mini family reunion" with my brother and his family. Mini Golf is a must - but we'd always visited other places because my youngest niece was a bit sheepish with the whole "scary ghost "thing. Now that she's seven - she loves AALLLLL that stuff. Bring on the spooky hilarity! Haunted golf reminded me a bit of the Disney Haunted Mansion. The portraits that go all creepy and zombie. The Dancing ghosts. Undead Elvis. The girls had a great time and we all loved the music and the corny humor. It's now my favorite mini golf on the boardwalk. What inspired me to write this review was the incredibly thoughtful and kind staff. Later during the day I had visited Haunted Golf - I noticed that my necklace was missing. I searched all the rides and the boardwalk - no luck. I figured it would be a long shot (pun intended) to check the mini golf, but my sister-in-law encouraged me to try everything. I went to the counter and asked the two young women working there if anyone had turned in something like it. The said no - but then one of them took a flashlight and said "I'll have a look". It was late, they were busy, and they could have easily just said "no, nobody has turned in anything". A few minutes later she returned - she found my necklace! I was shocked and so incredibly grateful - I'm angry at myself for not paying attention to both of their names. Let me know who you are and thank you so much! In short - come for the golf and the staff of people who see you as a person and not a bother as a tourist. read more

During my annual summer visit, Mr. Bones sprayed on my kids and I LOL The wonderful Miss Carol was eager to greet us upon entering of this fine establishment She is a wonderful sales woman and convinced us to buy some of her novelty balls, I was not going to purchase these balls since I already had my own balls but this purchase will be close to our hearts and remind us of the great experience we had with Miss Carol. While golfing Miss Carol noticed the Devil in the Boiler Room causing some trouble with us... the little devil was up to no good Carol came over and rescued my little Shaniqua and I So grateful for you Miss Carol. I had to take a spooky dookie, but unfortunately, there was no public bathrooms On the way out, our new friend Nigel did a little jiggle, song, and then dance for us. We wanted to tip the man inside the costume but he wouldn't stop dancing LOL Looking forward to our return next summer with our free game tickets and our 4 lucky balls. read more

The good first. The theming, the main reason you're here, is pretty good. It's definitely a fun place with some animatronics, talking ghouls, pictures, and projections. The music is fun, too. The place is in very good shape. Too many mini golfs have torn greens or worn down tees. And the place was air conditioned. The not as good. The actual golf. Way too many pretty straight shots without any obstacles. The few that have the fun ramps that should give you a hole in one actually don't. The ball isn't aimed properly or comes out too fast and bounces over the hole. Luckily, all of this can be fixed by adding more obstacles and adjusting the ramps. So, overall definitely worth it. A bit spooky at times but just mostly fun with great theming. read more

My boyfriend and I went on New Years Day and decided on Haunted Golf because it was the only one open because it is completely indoors. It was $15.90 total for the two of us. For the price, there was much lacking from the course standpoint. The paths were mostly straight-aways, the putting green wasn't kept well and had wrinkles, and there was no real advantage to aiming for the different pathways that normally get you a hole in one or at least closer to the hole than just hitting around them. We did win a ticket for a free game - with print on the back saying the free game is only available before 6pm. That seems odd as well. If it's the only mini golf course open and you really would like to play, this might be the course for you. But if it's a summer night and you have the option of any course on the boardwalk, I wouldn't recommend this one. read more

The reason for the 1 star is simple. I have 2 small children who wanted to play this. (Ages 7&9). I was told "the policy is only players are allowed in." They don't want my kids unsupervised and they want to soak me an extra $8 to supervise them. This place is a tale of stark contrasts. The theming and environment are fantastic, like nothing on the boardwalk, while the actually golf is severely lacking. Unlike most golf on the island, this place is 100% indoors and air conditioned. It is themed liked a haunted hotel, compete with several animatronic figures telling their ghostly tales and often jokes. They clearly spared no expense when designing the theme. The golf itself is another story. It is in the put through the windmill type of mini golf genre, but the obstacles themselves are easily avoidable and they usually do not pay off with a hole in one. Also, the carpeting they use is really cheap and has some wrinkles in it. Also, none of the obstacles move, unlike Goofy Golf or Tee Time. I would suggest going once and you will have a good time. The first time through, I spent more time noticing how cool the animatronics were and not how mediocre the actually golf was. Unfortunately, my wife won a free game and we completed the course a second time. If I had to review based on the first impression, it would have gotten 4 stars. read more

Most of the course is flat and the obstacles not too difficult to get around. Some are hard to get through if you are not precise or hit too hard.
