Visited there today with my dogs ( 2 great danes an a old English sheep dog) an my daughter right away the women offered to get my dogs some water they were hot from the walk there. Got a table right away on the patio. All the staff were so nice an friendly making sure the dogs water was not empty coming bye an giving the pets. The food we got was so good an yummy. We stopped in Jerome on a day trip and decided to try Haunted Hamburger for dinner -- the haunted theme sounded fun, whether you're into ghosts or not. We arrived around 3:45 for an early dinner and were told it would be about a 45‑minute wait. Thankfully, they added us to a text waitlist so we could wander the nearby shops, as long as we returned within 10 minutes of getting the notification. Sure enough, 45 minutes later our table was ready. Inside, the restaurant leans into Halloween décor, with TVs showing sports and very loud music. Any chance of a spooky atmosphere was pretty much drowned out by the noise. Our waitress was friendly, attentive, and kept our drinks filled, which was a highlight. I ordered the Haunted Burger (medium), but it arrived well‑done and extremely greasy. Definitely not one of the better burgers I've had. Overall, Haunted Hamburger is an okay spot if you're already in Jerome and want a casual meal. I wouldn't go out of my way to return, and if I'm back in Jerome, I'd probably try a different restaurant. Also worth noting: there's no parking close by, so be prepared to climb stairs or use their shuttle. read more

I've been to Jerome many times over the years and never visited this place because I'd always assumed it was just another tourist trap with mediocre food . On 4/18/26 I visited with my wife, nephew, and his wife. I was pleasantly surprised. The wait was about 30 minutes, but well worth it. Quick & friendly service every time. There's parking throughout Jerome. Dogs allowed :). Just note, you can walk up a staircase or walk on sidewalk all the way around the street bend and up. No wonder this place is so popular even in a Monday noon for lunch. They don't have a lot of seats but the dining area is so wide open and had super beautiful view. The foods are very delicious in a reasonable price. Service is sweet! I think it is a great spot to check it out if you visit here. Lots of skeletons and cryptid-adjacent items on hand for staring at while we waited for our lunch. After a short time, we got our meals nice and hot and with a smile from the waitress--always a plus. I had the Haunted Burger and have to admit, it filled me up in short order. It was cooked to my specs and was good. The bacon was thick and crunchy, the chiles were just hot enough and the fries were done to perfection. I have had a lot of burgers in my time and this one was near the top. If anything, being so large cost it a star. Would definitely stop by again when the live music was playing to have a brew and enjoy the view over the desert. read more

Place was really fun to go to and delicious too. The chicken fingers appetizer was delicious as well as the sauces it caned with. The ranch and buffalo were flavorful and worth it. The burger itself and fries you can tell are fresh and not frozen or premade. The interior of the place is also nice and cute as it has that old town feel. Mixed with the decorations inside and outside to give it a Halloween and horror type feel. I bet this place is really fun to attend to on Halloween. While in Jerome, we had lunch at the Haunted Hamburger. The building was a former boarding house for miners . We were fortunate to be seated in the view bar with stunning views of the Verde Valley. Service was outstanding. I don't recall our servers name , but she was so kind and attentive. She had the warmest personality. My husband had the Chipotle Deviled Eggs and one of their Signature items, the Bourbon Jalapeño Bacon Bison Burger and Jalapeño Cole Slaw side. He enjoyed everything and I did try the coleslaw and it had a kick to it and a bit too spicy for me! I had the pastrami burger with fries. Burgers are not my go to food choice,but this sounded intriguing and after our server described it I had to try it and it was amazing . It was a juicy burger topped with pastrami, bacon, cheese and thousand island dressing. The blend of flavors complimented one another . My only complaint, it was large and messy.... haha. I always hate being "one of those people" who show up right before closing, but we arrived in town later than expected and they were the last place open. I am very grateful for their kindness. Tried this place for the first time earlier today. The place gets super busy, & they don't take reservations. However, can be placed on a waitlist & they call / text when a table is ready. Which i liked. We got seated around the tentative time they gave. Customer service was great. The patio views were pretty. I took a star off because although the food was good, I didn't think it was an 1.5 wait good. We ordered the chips & salads which was pretty good, & the PB&J burger to try something different. The burger was just a burger to us. Nothing special. We ordered two Moscow mules as well. Those were okay. We had a Moscow mule at the Connor hotel prior, & that drink was way better. It was tender, moist and flavorful, with a little kick of spice with the pepperjack cheese and green chilies. Plus, the bacon was a nicely added touch. We absolutely loved the Haunted Hamburger. The food and service were absolutely the best!!!! They are enlarging their out door seating with an extension of the patio. It was a little noisy but understandable why. When we return to the Sedona are we will diffidently visit again to try more of their creations. So after a long drive outside of Phoenix through the beautiful countryside, we finally get to this town that I've never heard of before. It was a famous mining town back in the 1800s and when they pulled out, it became a ghost town, but people came back and bought property and fixed it up and turned it into the destination that you see today. Most places do well if they can say they're haunted. Well, most of the places here are spirit themed as there seems to be a prolific number of ghost sightings in the town. When you get there, you can imagine Old gunslingers going up and down the street and swinging a bottle on one hand and shoot a pistol on there and the other. But the views are stunning from everywhere you go they look out over the valley across these red ridges. It's just amazing. When we got to the front door and came inside, there was a long line of people waiting to get their name on the list. Some people were very impatient left early and that just pushed us up to the top pretty fast. I couldn't have waited more than 10 to15 minutes. They took us to a patio outside next to the main building and it overlooked the valley and you could have your food there and enjoy the view. Everyone we met there from the front door to the receptionist to the lady that took us to our table to the server. We're all incredibly beautiful wonderful individuals. They were so kind and accommodating. I really appreciated that. But when the food started coming. I was literally gobsmacked. It was gorgeous on the plate and the flavors only improved what I was seeing. I recommend anything on the menu because what I ordered. I was busy tasting the other food of our group around me and everything was spot on perfect. I highly recommend this place to go. read more

I've been here a couple of times with a group of people and both times we had great service and good food. There is usually a wait, especially for a group so make sure to plan ahead if you're on a schedule. One reason we keep coming back is because the patio is dog friendly. They also have a fun variety of burgers to choose from. This last time I went with the hangover burger, and it was good, but I'm not too much of a fan of A1 sauce on burgers so if you're not either than you may want to go with a different one because that flavor comes through well on this burger. For the side I chose a twice baked potato because how often can you get that with your burger! It was a fun side to have. read more
