The pepperoni pizza was delicious and would definitely get again. The margarita pizza was alright, would not get again. The wings were good just needed to be a little more crispier for our liking. Zero service, we sat outside on a Monday afternoon and my daughters went in to order-told that fries would take 7 minutes and lunch 30 minutes so we opted for cocktails first-mine was okay but the "famous" Bloody Mary my daughter ordered had zero condiments (as menu described), was absolutely horrible tasting and she exchanged it for a whiskey sour. Was charged $12 for the Bloody Mary anyway! Food was terrible, we finally went in 40 minutes later to check on our order and the waitress said,"I thought it was to go..." No mashed potatoes, no pizza dough. I ordered the Ribs and the fries were cold and soggy--inedible. Fish and chips flavorless and soggy as well. This place was a huge disappointment. I'm local (30 minute drive)and will not recommend this establishment. read more

Just left this place and it was great. Food and service were awesome. We had the ribs and chicken wings. Both were excellent. Bartender and cook were great. Both very personable and kind. Cook said he has only been there 4 months but he definitely made sure we were satisfied. Can't say enough good about the place. We will be back when in the area. I want to add that they definitely need to add the 3% charge for credit cards. We dug up enough cash to pay but I really like when they add the extra for credit cards use. No small business should have to eat that 3%. All us credit cards users are getting a kick back and no way should these small businesses have to eat that extra charge. read more

Just had a great visit to this cool spot!!! Don't be fooled by its low key exterior! Inside is all great vibes! Service was excellent! Food was excellent! Favorites included wings with the spicy peach wing sauce (!!!) and crispy chicken sandwich! Jojos too!! YUM!! Restaurant is super clean and has a fun local theme! But not just for locals! So then I ordered the Fish and Chips it came, I don't know what kind of breading it was, but it was not breaded, the coleslaw was nasty, it tasted nasty tasted bad didn't eat it. You do not expect a culinary mecca but the food is good, if they don't run out of early. The problem is the service. Nothing on time or what you order. If they run out, instead of telling you, they bring something else. I understand the Owner is doing his best, but restaurant management and dealing with bad employees are not for everyone. Everything we ordered was excellent. The Fish & Chips were perfectly crispy, and the Verde Wagyu Burger was juicy and full of flavor on a fresh house-made bun. The Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich had just the right amount of heat, and the mashed potatoes and gravy were a great side. After a long drive back from Moab to Scottsdale, we were starving--but didn't want to waste time. We started getting hungry around Flagstaff, but every good fast food option--like Chick-fil-A or In-N-Out--would've added at least 10-15 minutes with the detour and lines. We just didn't have the patience. Then we spotted Beaver Creek Restaurant right off Exit 293... and wow, what a find! This place blew us away. The Wagyu burger was cooked perfectly--juicy, flavorful, and served on a homemade bun that was soft, fresh, and absolutely next-level. My mom had the pulled pork sandwich and raved about it. Same amazing homemade bun, and the smoked pork just melted in your mouth. Bonus points: they brought out water for my two Shih Tzu pups on the patio . Great hospitality, quick service, and a location that couldn't be more convenient for road trippers. Skip the fast food--this is your go-to stop if you're anywhere near Exit 293. The service was good, but that's all I can say that is positive about this place. The moment I walked in, it turned my stomach. The smell reminded me of an old folks musty smell, UGH. But we ordered anyway, we wanted to give it a shot, we were looking for a new place to go. BUT! Never again. Their Wagyu beef hamburger was $17, and it was the worse we Ever had. Terrific lunch stop between Flagstaff and Phoenix. The bartender and cook were very friendly. The pulled pork sandwich was one of the best ever, with a heartyBBQ sauce on the side. Perfect hand-cut steak fries and flavorful cole slaw. Our daughter had the "mini" pizza which was a very generous 10" and quite tasty. Bathrooms were clean and attractive. I came here with a group of friends while we were at Cliff Castle for a conference. Don't expect much when you pull up because there's not much happening. It's plain and no frills. However, there's much more going on than meets the eye. Our server was a crusty dude with a GREAT sense of humor. I ordered the 2 piece broasted chicken with coleslaw and honestly wasn't expected much. Boy was I wrong. The chicken was fantastic! A thick breast that was still very moist and tender. This was some of the best fried chicken I've had in quite a while. The prices were very affordable and the only thing that really disappointed me was the fact that I live in the Phoenix area and I can't come here on a whim to get my fried chicken fix. This place had great reviews and boasted that it was child friendly. We were traveling through and excited to stop and check it out. Apparently it isn't meant for tourists. We walked in and stood there and not one person ever greeted us. It was like time stopped and everyone was staring at us. We had a lady point and whisper to her husband. Just so uncomfortable. Anyways after awkwardly standing there waiting to be seated or told we could seat ourselves and never being acknowledged, we decided to leave. We've tried this place twice now, and were disappointed both times, for different reasons. First time, we had to wait more than 45 minutes for our order to be brought to the table. Second time (today), we arrived only to find that they were out of about half the items on the menu. They do have gluten-free pizza (thumbs up for that) but no gluten-free bread or buns for sandwiches or burgers (which make up a lot of the menu offerings). GF bread or buns should not be a big ask in 2024. Even fast-food places have them. The wagyu burger was tasty but it looked awfully small on the plate with no bun. Over the years there have been several different restaurants in this building, and none of them has lasted very long. Can't figure out why, since the other eating places in the vicinity have all done well--and this place has the advantage of being closest to the freeway. With the competition from nearby good restaurants like El Patio or Thai Gardens or Robbie's, I don't see Beaver Creek Restaurant lasting any longer than the others in this space did--unless they get their act together soon. read more

After a busy morning/afternoon hiking and visiting national monuments and state parks we had worked up an appetite. Saw this restaurant while driving through and we decided to give it a try. The food was great and fresh! Red bear, the owner/bartender/waiter/cook, stated everything is fresh and you can definitely taste it too. The restaurant and bathrooms were both very clean. Went on a road trip today and stopped at the Outpost for lunch. It was an amazing time! Everything was delicious...the pickles in the blood mary's, the homemade ranch with the best smoked chicken wings, the pizza, and the pulled pork sandwiches. Stopped here on a Friday afternoon for a late lunch. Since is was afternoon, it was pretty quiet. The food and the service were excellent! I ordered the fish and chips and my husband had the pulled pork sandwich. Everything was cooked perfectly and tasted great. Fish was lightly battered and served with yummy potato wedges. My New Englander mom would have approved -- even the coleslaw was very good. :) The potato salad that came with my husband's sandwich was also very tasty. The yummy dill pickles on the side tasted like grandma canned them. We were very happy with the meal and prices were reasonable. We randomly stopped at this place on our way through, we lucked out!We could smell fresh smoked wings as soon as we walked in the door. There was no choice we had to order some. Definitely some of the best we have ever had. They gave us several options of local gourmet hot sauce, not necessary, they were perfect without sauce.
