Enchiladas verde
Izzy G.

This was my second time here with my first time being a wedding. The wedding was pretty good BTW. This time, I just met some friends and we had lunch out in the patio. The weather was decent, so we were able to enjoy the view. Our server seemed to be pretty at this, but he did a decent job. I ordered the enchiladas verde, and I thought it was pretty good. It was a green chili chicken enchiladas with artichoke, spinach, cheese and topped with avocado served on a bed of refried beans. It cooked very and presented nicely. Good overall experience.

Huevos Rancheros

Great brunch. Huevos Rancheros is Amazing. Good price and quality of food! The views are gorgeous and face bell rock. Great Ambiance. Service is slightly slow due to understaffing but they were polite.

The view from patio

Sat on patio, the view was amazing. Service was top notch. Throughly enjoyed our breakfast , and the bacon was to die for. Definitely will be back, highly recommend.

The green chile pork eggs benny was absolutely delicious. Views are remarkable. Brooke was our server and she was prompt, sweet, attentive and very kind. I would highly recommend a visit and seating outside if you can.

San Francisco Melt sandwich at Juniper.

Once again, a disappointing experience at Juniper. We are locals and decided to give them another try after avoiding the place for 2+ years due to consistently lousy service and okay food. Lunch took 45 minutes today, even though the room was 2/3 empty. I had to box my sandwich to go because we ran out of time. The food was awful (see photo of my burnt roast beef melt with a paltry amount of meat), and while friendly, the service was inattentive and utterly clueless. It's such a beautiful dining room and location, but this restaurant just cannot get their act together.

We came to watch the Argentina vs. Egypt World Cup match, and they opened at 9:00 a.m. for the game. They were running a fun, seasonal soccer-themed menu when we visited. Our group tried the prickly pear refreshers, and for lunch, we ordered the dirty burger, lattice-wrapped burger, and a regular burger paired with sweet potato fries. The burgers were just okay. A couple of people in our group noticed the meat was a bit chewy and tough, seemingly from being overcooked The only downside was the timing of the kitchen. Our food wasn't served together, leaving one friend waiting until the rest of us were nearly finished eating due to an order mix-up. Fortunately, the staff handled the situation well and applied a 20% discount to the delayed item once we pointed it out

I really wanted this to be a five star after reading the reviews and ordering their "award winning"…read moreburgers. We got three burgers (waco kid, funghi sublime, and Italian stallion - first two had won awards but we were assured we couldn't go wrong), and a side of yucca fries. Maybe we came on a bad night but the burger patties were way too salty - two were very salty one was less so but still too salty for a good burger patty - it ruined what would have been very creatively curated burgers. The yucca fries tasted great, not healthy if thast what you're going for when you think of yucca since it's deep-fried in a potato batter, but it was good. We did still eat the food, though I had to down a whole glass of water with it (which didn't get refilled until after I asked for the check.. it was not a busy night, we were surrounded by empty tables). When asked how our food was toward the end of our meal I mentioned that the patties were too salty but that the yucca fries were good. Nothing was mentioned/done about that for us but hopefully they checked on that for the sake of the rest of their customers after us.

It definitely puts you in the mood to enjoy probably the best meal you will have all day. We started with a simple Caesar salad and some chicken lollipops - which were full of meat and even though they were covered in a delicious bbq sauce they were somehow still so crunchy! For dinner I had the butternut squash pasta which came with a mushroom medley in the best sauce I have ever tasted! I would eat anything made in that sauce. And lucky for my husband or else I would've eaten his, which was so tender and rich. Truly the chef here is amazing! And if that wasn't enough, they had a menu for dogs! There is nothing cuter! Our server and bartender were arguing the whole time and we waited awkwardly for a while just to get seated. When we came back for dinner we had a reservation for 730. The manager finally greeted us at the host stand and informed us our table was not ready and parked us at the bar. The bartender was covering the whole Bartop and had thin patience and practically zero customer service. We were seated at a nice fireplace seat with front row music but the service was pretty awful. Sat for a while without drinks and when our appetizer came out, chips queso and guac. It was so bad. There were about 6 chips and the queso had a thick skin on top and the "guac" was just bland avocado. The mains were not great overall the food was so mid and our bill, for 2 drinks an app and 2 mediocre entrees... $300 Please do better. Just because you are in the resort does not mean you need to charge out the ass for mid food and poor / unprofessional service. For dinner there are tons of places in town and around the corner that are worth your time and money. For breakfast we didn't even give them a chance, took it across the street to juniper cafe for a much better time.

We left both of our meals 3/4 uneaten. We had the calamari as an appetizer- it was soggy, but that wasn't the problem tbh- it was the other two dishes we ordered: the southwest pasta tasted bad. How do you screw up pasta? The description of the dish sounds delish, pasta, mushrooms, chicken, spinach in a tomato cream sauce, it was horrible. Something must have been spoiled in the above listed ingredients to have it taste that way. I had ordered the chicken lettuce wraps as my main and it tasted reheated. The Paloma and Smoky peach margarita had way too much alcohol and also had zero flavor, we asked for them to be removed from our bill because we could not drink them. You can enjoy sunset without eating here as there is a lookout. Save yourself the waste of money and don't eat here. We literally left the Mesa Grill and had to go grab food elsewhere. This place is a tourist trap.
