I'm already a happy repeat customer here and I've only been aware of this restaurant within the…read morelast month! I've missed having easy access to Cuban food after having so much access to Porto's when I lived in LA, and Havana House absolutely hits the spot. - Cuban Sandwich (5/5): Delicious and a HUGE portion. One sandwich can easily feed 2 people to satisfaction. - Ham Croquetas (5/5): Croquetas are one of my favorite foods and these are no exception. Only wish they also made chicken croquetas too! - Stuffed Potato Ball (4/5): Hefty, rich, decadent. I can really only eat half of one before it makes me too full (and I usually have a big appetite) - Maduros (Sweet Plantains) and Tostones (Fried Green Plantains) (both 5/5): Perfectly sweet and savory - Braised Oxtail: Can't speak for this one directly but my fiance loved this one. Their menu has so much variety, but everything I've tried so far has always been well made and flavorful. Looking forward to my next visit. - Ambiance: 3.5/5 - Food: 5+++/5 - Service: 5/5

It was the best lemonade I have ever had - I'm pretty sure that they make most of their own juices - you can actually hear a blender or a juicer going while you're there. All of the foods were amazing - my 6 year old especially loved the croquettas. My Cuban sandwich was huge - maybe enough for 3-4 meals. We also got a tres leches to go! If you're looking for fancy ambience, this isn't the place for you - not saying that there is anything wrong, but it's very casual. Service was very good! We will absolutely be back and looking forward to trying their pastries and ropa vieja.

I also ordered their strawberry lemonade, which had a thicker consistency for juice. It was refreshing and had just the right amount of sweetness and tartness. Their drinks are solid. I tried the Cuban sandwich, which was okay in my opinion. As I dove right into it, the pork flavor was interesting & every few pieces of the outer meat were a tad bit hard. When I ate it later for dinner though, the sandwich tasted so much better for some reason. Lol maybe cuz everything was marinating and softening idk. It's good, but I wouldn't order this sandwich again. I prefer chicken. I tried some of my dad's fricasa de cerdo. Loved it! Reminded me of a stew, but I would not drink the whole bowl because it is on the saltier side. It was served extra hot, and the chicken was tender. For the sides, my dad got the fried ripe plantains (sweet and soft) and the fried yucca sticks (tastes like potatoes - crispy on the outside), which paired nicely with a garlic sauce. Service was great! They are very warm and kind to their customers. I highlyyyy recommend this place to anyone looking for good Cuban cuisine. It's never too busy or loud when we go. Plenty of parking!

I normally get tocas thru the drive thru, but today, the wife and I went in. We went with our usual tacos - bean, bacon, chz y cilantro, but added a beef empanada. The tacos were great as always. The empanada was very tasty. They only have beef and chicken, so went with the beef. Excellent flavor. We got an additional beef and chicken to take home. As for the drinks, which I normally don't mention, unless it's ice cold beer, the wife had fresh homemade lemonade. Very good. I went with the mulata iced coffee. Wow....that was good. Way better than anything at Starbucks. My opinion. And, and...they have a full bar. Great prices. Give them a try.

This is definitely one of my new faves top five.ERICK makes superb drinks and he has superb service. You wouldn't expect this from a place like this amazing and Natalia was very helpful. You have to come see them. This is a local hero and best kept secret in KATY Texas.
