Definitely must try. I got the purple rice yogurt and I thought the flavor was very unique. You can tell it's very healthy. The reviews were right -- it's not a sweet treat. So if you're craving something sweet this place is not it. However, I loved what I ordered. I can't wait to come back and try another flavor!
Yomie's has a vast array of drinks to choose from with unique combos! I went with their classic purple rice yogurt, which had a subtle sweet and tart flavor, but the rice definitely threw me off a bit with its thick consistency. It was nice to try, just not my personal preference. My friend got the mango pomelo sago yogurt, and thatttt was gooood. Really refreshing and creamy, pairing well with the soft sago. The employees were reserved but friendly. Inside was cool (temp wise) and minimalistic yet chic.
Stumbled upon this place using yelp and decided to give a try. I love yogurt, and was curious about their rice drinks. I ordered their haw purple rice and it was good. If you're looking for a dessert drink place this isn't it. Their drinks are not sweet or dessert type, this isn't froyo. I will say their staff was not very friendly, and made no suggestions or gave any helpful recommendations. We were completely new to the concept so I would have liked a description of the drinks or helpful recommendations. After buying here, I did a little google search on the brand, and found that the yogurt and purple rice have some good gut health benefits, so if you're looking for a place to help with that, check this one out.
Wow! I didn't know they had a Rose Lychee yogurt drink until today. It's now my favorite drink! I've had almost all of the fruit yogurt items on the menu - Melon Melon, Avocado, Mango, Pineapple Banana, Durian, Red Dragon fruit, Mango Pomelo Sago. Melon melon and mango were my go-tos, always with purple rice. Jujube purple rice yogurt is also a good choice for extra texture, but they use a different type of yogurt for that one. I prefer the yogurt used for the fruit drinks a little more. The shop is super cute, well decorated, and clean. I usually take my drinks to-go, but I see that they have plenty of sitting room. I especially love this location because the staff is really nice and accommodating. At the SW Chinatown location, they refused to add purple rice to certain drinks. But I've always experienced great customer service at this location. Don't forget to get a stamp card if you plan to visit often!
Initially tried to order the mango pomelo sago yogurt drink but they said they didn't have any more sago and didn't know when they'd get it again. :( thumbs down. If it's the most popular drink, I think whoever does the buying should ensure that they always have it in stock or on hand. Ended up ordering the melon melon. There were bits of melon but you couldn't really taste the melon. It was basically a yogurt drink. For a small drink, it was also priced quite high. I paid nearly $7. Probably will not be going back.
I came here for the first time and got a purple rice yogurt drink. It was in my opinion a really good drink, I asked with no sugar and still tasted pretty good. The people here are nice, and it's a really nice place to bring a friend and sit down and talk. Would recommend to anyone.

WHAT! I'm not the biggest fan of their purple rice drinks that they are known for, but they're not bad at all. However, the fruity yogurt drinks are magnificent. Utterly amazing. Especally the mango, the pineapple, and my absolute fave - the Mango Pomelo Sago. It's a variation of a very popular dessert in Hong Kong, and it's well worth a try. As far as these locations go, I had an iffy experience at the one down in Sugar Land, but this Katy one was wonderful. The owners are lovely people and their products are magnificent. Much like the one in Chinatown Houston on Bellaire, the products and service here really couldn't be any better than they are. Yomie's is one of the best chains around, and if you want something yogurt related, especially something fruity, you won't find anything better or more refreshing than these drinks. They're not cheap, but they're at least 10 times as good as a yogurt from the grocery store, at least 1,000 times fresher-tasting, so it's worth paying 5 or 8 times more, for sure. And yo, if you want to know who really loves these yogurts, then my answer is, yo, me! First time visiting here! Nice modern cool vibe I feel from this store! I ordered strawberry one and it was very gentle taste I love the fact that it's not too sweet but it's just perfect sweetness! Located in the Katy Asian town with plenty of parking. Yomie's is an excellent option for those looking to explore beyond the usual post-meal boba experience. You can choose between the grains and yogurt combo, fresh fruit and yogurt combo, or go for fruit tea. The sweetness levels can be adjusted. I'm a fan of the red bean purple rice yogurt. Sweetness from the red bean and yogurt and texture from the purple rice were a perfect combo. The drink is filling but not heavy. Service was friendly and the interior was bright and clean. I would definitely come back again.
This place is so cute! We decided to finally give it a try. Honestly, it wasn't our cup of tea because of how thick it was. BUT, it is a fantastic healthy option to boba! The base is yogurt instead of tea. Such a great unique idea!
The drink here is decent I would go here again if nothing is open. The service here is really good! The worker are nice and very accommodating to what u want in ur drink and took time to explain what's in it.

Yomie's Rice x Yogurt is such a unique and refreshing treat; it honestly feels like a healthier version of boba. I got the Mango Pomelo Sago, and it was amazing! Perfect balance of creamy, fruity, and just the right amount of sweetness. You can get it with rice added (I haven't tried that yet), but even the original without rice is absolutely delicious. Definitely worth a visit if you're looking for something tasty, satisfying, and a little different from your usual drink spot! read more

Good little addition to Katy Asian Town, a couple doors down from Lava Coffee, and the plaza next to Thaicoon and 3 Little Pigs. Their signature item is a purple rice yogurt, which... is exactly what it sounds like. It's a drinkable, tasty yogurt with chewable bits of purple rice. Kind of reminded me of bubble tea, but a bit more filling. Good snack. The place also offers smoothies and some other drinks. Inside was really bright, clean, modern, with a small area of toys for kiddos to play at. read more

Big fan of them in Bellaire so I'm glad to see that they're expanding. Yomie yogurt drinks are the perfect dessert to go to when you want something sweet after a meal but still want to keep it healthy. I prefer their yogurt over boba most days. Not too sweet and very refreshing, with bits of fresh fruits or purple rice to chew on. I would recommend the Purple Rice Yogurt, Strawberry Yogurt, and Mango Yogurt. read more

Absolutely the goat when it comes to drinks/ teas in the Katy area; the prices are fantastic, and the service has always been on top. I usually do pick-up orders but the vibes/ ambiance inside are very nice, I always see people studying or hanging out, and I've found myself sitting on the comfy green couches they have for longer than anticipated! If you're in the mood for a drink I'd definitely recommend this spot! read more
They have a great promotion running for the month of November (BUY 2 GET 1 FREE). Their Mango Pomelo drink is a must get. Interior looks very cute and spacious in there to sit with friends/family. This place is starting to grow more and more on me! There's so many boba spots in Katy Asia town but this place is slightly different than most. So clean, such friendly and sweet staff, and what an ambiance! Love the setting/atmosphere and music. Absolutely adore the menu options-- I'm a sucker for fun yogurt/rice drinks. Such a needed change of pace for asian drinks, nice to get a breather from menus that are tea/milk tea heavy. I ordered the purple rice yogurt. The yogurt is creamy and smooth and the rice adds a nice textural touch. I think next time I'll try the mango sago drink for more burstsbof flavor! I'm really happy to come across this place, hoping the Sugar Land location is just as nice :) read more

I got the purple rice yogurt drink and it was pretty tasty. I'm a fan of drinkable yogurt and the rice was nice and chewy, kept me from drinking my drink too fast because I had to chew after each sip. Pretty pricey though, and just so everyone is aware, they are giving out 15% off for posting 5 star reviews on Google or Yelp. read more
