Located on the west side of I17, down past Walmart, is a really nice, large and well stocked cigar bar, huge humidor, comfortable seating areas and well stocked bar, including Guinness on draft. Havana has the largest humidor I've been in around Scottsdale, Phoenix, massive selection including CAO, Drew Estates, RP, R&J and many many others. Boxed sets, individuals, selection packs, they have it. Staff are always friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Prices are surprisingly good too. read more

Large humidor but the few times I've been here half the boxes are empty. If you are a Rocky Patel fan then you'll enjoy the selection. If you aren't a RP fan, like myself, it's slim picking. The prices are a little higher than I'm used too. I guess being the only shop in Anthem means you can charge a little more. When I was in the humidor the guy working kept coming inside and moving things around. Since I've been out of the humidor and smoking, he hasn't gone into the humidor. Best way to make me never come back is to follow me around assuming I'm going to steal something. Tattoos and gauges doesn't equal thief. Plus side is they have bottled beer and wine. All in all, when I come to Anthem every Tuesday I'll just bring a cigar I bought elsewhere and smoke outside. read more

We decided to stop by here last minute on our way to crown King for a overnighter and forgot to bring some cigars. Jumped on google maps and this is one of the spots the came up so we decided to try it. Atmosphere was excellent the owner let us roam around without pushing us to hurry up and buy we Also asked que sand he was more then helpful. A very good variety of cigars. Havana Cigars not only sports the largest walk-in humidor in Arizona, the store itself is a great place to hang out and enjoy a fine cigar. With the free WiFi they offer, I call this place my office away from the office. The owner is super friendly and is great about throwing events that draw in the local crowd of cigar connoisseurs. Just returned from a Rocky Patel factory tour in Honduras and Nicaragua. Bobby Chadha put this trip together for 12 of the Havana Cigar Bar friends. He did an outstanding job of keeping the " Dirty Dozen" together and on point the entire four days of our tour. While dealing with a family emergency as well he never lost sight of his mission. Thank you Bobby and thanks to Rocky Patel for his hospitality and his staff for a wonderful life changing event. Met some great guys too. I've been here several times and can't really recommend Havana compared to other cigar lounges in Phoenix metro. Bobby is a great guy but grossly overcharges for both drinks & cigars. Most recently, was charged $20 per drink for rum and $14.50 for an Oliva cigar - Scottsdale pricing in Anthem. Another patron's comment about poor inventory is spot on - usually can't find what I want in the humidor. Overall, 2 stars is generous. read more

Great Place! We stopped in after dinner and met the gregarious owner, Bobby. Extremely nice atmosphere and a large humidor. Good selection of cigars. They had My Father cigars, which are my current favorite. Clientele was very friendly and the owner filled us in on the history of the shop, as well as cigar customer trips to Honduras, Dominican Republic, etc. The owner could not have been more welcoming to us! read more

One of the best cigar shops in town. The staff are very friendly and helpful, whether you are new to cigars or a long-time smoker. The humidor is HUGE and their selection is great. I came in with my wife to check the place out, I smoke a cigar a week or bi-weekly and live around the corner. Walked in, the place was dead empty but felt and appeared nice, so we entered the very large humidor. At first we were impressed with the selection, but were quickly hounded by the owner, "what can I get for you?" (he followed us in). I said, "we are just gonna look around and see what you got". Then he stood and stared at me and my wife where he could watch us the entire time. We could feel his eyes burning holes in our backs. I looked over at him and he never even bothered to look away. I told my wife, "lets go, apparently we're stealing..." I'm pushing 40, and yes, I have long hair, but I'm a devops engineer and probably make more money than he does, and have never stolen as much as a stick of gum in my entire life. Get over your stereotypes and quit treating customers like thieves. You just lost a weekly customer. read more

Not smart to snub an informative question about Macanudo with a derogatory "that's for beginners". America's most popular smoke is apparently too good for this store. Customer is king, but not here. Large humidor, but poor selection. Also, don't expect any understanding when you buy a bad cigar. I had two $10 cigars with a bad draw, but the owner could care less. Bye, bye Havana!
