James quickly understood what we were looking for and showed us items on the floor and as well as images of items of what would arrive soon. Our favorite pieces came from The Haven. Our experience with Haven Furniture, like "all" other reviewers, has been a solid 5 Stars. James is very creative with his design ideas and strives to learn the particular needs of his clients. His workers as well are equally professional and extremely careful when delivering furniture. We purchased a very heavy and beautiful dining room table. The delivery guys preferred to hand carry it over the rough flagstone - about 75ft. Each rest stop they placed blankets on the ground to lay the table on. And getting it through the small front door was slow going and never had a nick. We've had deliveries from other companies as well and have to say the Haven Furniture delivery personnel were the most cautious we've seen. James is doing all the right things in getting his new business off the ground. He's been very good about researching online and calling me letting me know when he has something like what I'm looking for. His delivery guys were so attentive and careful with my furniture, they went above and beyond and drilled a hole so I could hook up my cable! read more

I used to love Haven for years, until yesterday. The customer service we received from the staff was just awful. We ordered a bed frame the day after Christmas-the sales person who sold the bed was great to work with, and we were told to just call in advance when we were ready to come back to pick up the bed frame. So we called on Thursday, the two ladies who answered the phone had absolutely no clue what we were talking about when we told them we planned to come on Saturday. Then they finally said it should be okay if we came on Saturday. Saturday when we walked into the store, the ladies were totally not prepared. When I told her we came for pick up, her immediately response was : " oh we don't have anybody here to help so you have to load everything yourself". I was shocked at her attitude, but whatever. When we came to the "warehouse" side, the bed frame was not disassembled. The other lady then told us they have another one in boxes, but she didn't know which boxes. So two of us had to open the boxes ourselves to see which boxes had the bed frame. When we finally located the boxes ourselves, we had no help at all in terms of loading everything in our truck. Sarcastically, the other customer at the store asked us whether we need any help, but absolutely nothing from the store staff. The only communication we received from the store staff during the whole process was "if you want delivery to Tucson (where we live), it's will be $150 dollars". Then around 5ish, she asked whether she could close the back door and asked packing type back because she needed to close the store, when two of us were in the middle of figuring out how to upload everything. If you buy big furniture from them, and choose to pick up yourself, be prepared to receive the worst customer service ever, and do all the work yourself. Seriously, the worse customer service I've ever received. read more

JOY! what a fabulous experience I had at this shop. I had been shopping all day and was actually quite discouraged. Its challenging to find furnishings that are not over the top expensive but not cheap garbage. I wandered in on my way to Salt Creek (never made it...lol) and I just loved the vibe. Unique, well made and interesting furniture. Something for all tastes. Dawn helped me and she was fabulous without being pushy, and then I found out they are not a chain! YAY! shop local! I found a great couch, and a super cool cabinet and then I found these fabulous pics that I had to take home. They delivered it all 3 days later and even the delivery guys were fabulous. I can not say enough good things about Haven Furniture. I recently relocated to Phoenix from Southern California. Had a new home to furnish and looked at many furniture stores and fortunately found Haven, but more specifically the owner James. James and his co-worker, Dawn, have great insight into decorating and offer excellent suggestions on their unique furniture peices and where to place them in your home. Not only does Haven have a large selection of furniture in the store, the choices on-line with their preferred vendors is overwhelming. There is no reason you shouldn't find what you are looking for at Haven. I feel so fortunate that I found Haven early on and regularly go and visit just to see what is "new" in the store.
