Ordered two pizzas, which are all 12 inches, so probably defined as personal size, but easily shared by two people. In our case we got two different pies. First up was the smoked trout appetizer that came with house made pita bread straight from the oven. The trout was really good, and the combination with harissa (which you can add or not as you prefer) really worked incredibly well. We sat at the outdoor bar and enjoyed some nice conversation with the bartenders Reuben and Brandon who were incredibly nice. We ate on a late Sunday afternoon, so the crowd was smaller than a prime Friday or Saturday, so there was no issue with waiting for our entree pizzas. Once the 'zas arrived, the crust was excellent - it was clearly fermented for multiple days and had wonderful flavor on it's own. It was on the thin side, but not cracker. I chose the "My Italian Friend" which featured Prosciutto, garlic, onion, parmesan, tomato, and basil. It was fantastic - cooked perfectly, close to that Neapolitan style, but yet still seeming to channel a good NYC pie. Hard to explain but it worked well. The other was the White Album pizza (shoutout Beatles reference) which featured ramp pesto. We both felt that this wasn't as good as it should be (or, we had higher expectations for ramps than they delivered). The fundamentals of the pizza were still solid. Fun cocktails, decent beer selection, staff was attentive and interested, and pizza was broadly really good. Highly reccomend!

There was hardly any meat or cheese on it and it was swimming in mayonnaise. I had to throw it away, it was inedible. I tried to scrape the mayo off and that's when I saw that there was hardly anything on the bread. I so looked forward to having another amazing sandwich from Peck's. It was $12.00 wasted. Our son's sandwich wasn't much better. I think retraining would be an appropriate measure here.

The sauce is the perfect mix of spicy and sweet, and there's a variety to choose from. When I'm in the area for work, and they're open, I make it a point to stop for a meal. The outdoor seating, right by the creek, is the right setting for such tasty food (also, the brownies are as big as your face and are fantastic!). Thanks to Jen and Ben (the owners) for keeping this place in my favorite spots with their friendliness, great service, and amazing food! But the Red Dot seems to nail every single dish. We started with the multigrain vegan waffle with fresh fruit and loved it! So clean and flavorful, with perfectly ripe fruit. I do think the fruit should have been included, because it would have been a bit plain without it. Next, we had the ancient grains kitchari which was incredible. We loved all the fresh vegetables perfectly cooked, adding a variety of textures and flavors. It is offered as mild, medium, or hot; we got hot, which was great but not overly spicy, and we might request extra spicy next time. Lastly, we got the breakfast paratha wrap filled with their incredible tofu scramble. We were so impressed by how non-greasy it was (both the paratha and the scramble). We are always looking for food that isn't overly salty or oily, which is hard to find, but the Red Dot managed to do everything perfectly. Also major props to their masala chai, made super fresh with your choice of milk. The soy milk was creamy and pleasantly sweet and it didn't even require adding sugar. So rare to find vegan masala chai. The food takes fairly long to come out, but we felt it was worth it because of how delicious everything was; we also appreciated the generous portions. I think we have found one of our new favorite restaurants!
