I was irritated with this company's service. Information about a faulty lock was sent prior to arranging an appointment. Despite pictures and details, the lock tech was unprepared and did not have the right materials. There seemed to be a lack of communication between the dispatch and the techs - not to mention a lack of thinking ahead. Rather than rescheduling the appointment in order to ensure the required materials were in hand, I was to be charged twice for the mobilization and service due to lack of parts. read more

They make key copies takes 3-4 min, quite fast . Not too expensive 2.78 for one key. The service was not the friendliest but they were good.

Wow, great customer service. I have an old lock and needed a duplicate key made. When I got home the key worked to unlock the lock but wouldn't turn back to re-lock the lock. I went back and they adjusted the key. When I got home the key was still giving me trouble so I went back again. This time the owner used a device to measure how the pins were dropping and made a key from that. It is an old lock and kind of worn so It made a huge difference. The keys they made worked and I didn't get charged for the extra key they gave me or the extra work they had to go through to get it working. This place goes the extra mile to make a customer happy and I would gladly recommend them to everyone. read more

Been using Havens (Edwards) for years and now have found them just to darn expensive lately. Brought in two Ford door locks to be re-keyed and they wanted $100 or $50 each! WOW! Took my business to Fresno Mobile on McKinley and was charged $25 each for a total of $50 out the door. Half. Sorry Havens, I have to go. read more

Popped in to have some new keys cut for my camper shell. Had to leave them as it was going to take some time to match the keys to my particular cylinders. My fault for not expecting that. Got a call about an hour later that they were ready. Nice people behind the counter. Fair prices. Just know that they can't always fix stuff while you wait. My Car key was not opening passenger side door.The tech said grooves are not good and if makes another key will still not work.He has to make decode key cost 45usd.He made the key it worked.After few months I had same problem again.Went to shop two people were looking into my complain and both were saying lock if spolied and have to fix it and cost 120uas or 45usd if I open and take it. I went to another shop the guy A and M lock in clovis made a new key from my old key and locks from both doors started working.It cost me 8.50 usd. So I feel I was cheated the first time as he could have made a new key and it would have worked and no need to decode key 45usd and again second time I would have been cheated.The name is big but no ethics of honest business in my view.So always take a second opinion .The A and M locksmith service was excellent too. read more

Just want to say... This place was a blessing. I went in to get my old, superglued car key replaced, and the gentleman who helped me got to it right away, was able to make me a new key and a spare, and even showed me how the key had deteriorated, what to look out for, etc. It maybe took 30 mins total, all employees were friendly and knowledgeable. From what I was quoted at a dealership, this cost approximately half of what they would have charged and I know the wait time would have been a LOT longer. I recommend them highly to any family, friends, and Yelpers alike! Check these guys out. All other key replacement places seem to be those mobile vans that come to you, but this place is an established business/storefront that you can drive to yourself (that is if you haven't locked your keys out, lost your keys, etc). I was using my phone to find the nearest locksmith to make key copies. This was the first time hearing about Haven's. I was greeted the moment I walked in by a staff member named Susan...I showed her the keys, and she let me know that it was not a problem. Keys were made quickly and painlessly. When she returned to the front desk I asked if Haven's carried any key holders and she immediately said they carried two sizes, reached for them, and displayed them to me so that I could choose which one.
