I was really disappointed with my experience here and honestly can't understand the high reviews. I went in expecting a proper back massage, but all I got was a lazy back rub that didn't help at all. To make it worse, the masseuse wasn't even paying attention--they had earbuds in and were clearly listening to a podcast the entire time. The atmosphere wasn't relaxing either, there were distracting noises coming from outside. For the price they charge, you'd expect way better service. Best deep tissue massage I've legitimately had in my entire life and I've had hundreds of massages. Back trice in one week. So if you are actually suffering from like muscle pain and you need someone to really get into your muscles, this is the place. Lee was next level. BEWARE!!! Walked in for a normal 45 minute massage. The massage itself was fine however besides that it was a nightmare! From the workers coughing up spit constantly and talking to each other extremely loud. My massage was interrupted by two men talking to each other. My masseuse literally got up and stopped massaging me. No part of this experience was relaxing BUT wait for the best part! I gave them an 18% tip. Which I thought was genous considering the circumstances. The guy at the front looks and me and says "Not 20%?" I was stunned. I then explained why and he shewed me away with his hand. I found this place on yelp, and based on the good reviews, I decided to stop by. I called and was able to get an appointment at the time I wanted on the same day. As others have mentioned, the place is very well-laid out and kept clean. There are mini private rooms for each client, and while you can hear people shuffling about and talking in whispered tones, there is calming music in the background and it doesn't take away from the soothing massage. I've had pretty bad shoulder/back pain recently, so I opted for the hot stone and oil back massage. It also includes some foot and head/face massage, which was a nice added touch! My masseuse focused on the knots on my back, but also did a thorough job massaging all over my body, so I appreciated that. My masseuse wasted no time healing my aching feet and bringing in the relaxation. And just when I was under his spell he whispers..."do you want more time?" Well yes sir, I DO!! Boy was I in for a treat!! The last 30 mins was even more incredible than the first hour. That thing you did with my neck and shoulders!! Yes, yes and YES!! But if that wasn't enough, you brought out the hot stones to soak in the delight!! Ladies my lashes may have come off during this interlude!! But who cares!! Good massage but the price was $85 per massage and we had two so it should have been 170$ got charged 191$(1 dollar cc fee) and then basically got forced to tip 20% . Even after being over charge. They basically would not let us leave till we changed the tip to 40$. So beware they will force a big tip on you and watch the price. I always tip very generously because I just feel that I get so much more than what I'm asked to pay for. Story: I once came in here after straining my shoulder at work. I told the woman giving my massage that I had hurt my shoulder and needed extra attention in that area. She took SUCH good care of me! Really. I felt as if it was her personal mission to help me feel better. And I did! My shoulder felt significantly better when I left and 100% better by the time I went back to work! Probably the BEST foot massage I've had (including total body massages, pedicures and other reflexology services). They have mini "private" rooms which was nice. My husband and I had different services but even with the massage therapist coming in and out of the room with the warm water, etc, neither one of us were disturbed. If you are looking for good foot reflexology, this is your place. Quiet, comfortable, you get to lie down while your legs and feet are massaged. When my therapist hit a sore spot, she worked another area that reduced the soreness. I stand on my feet for over 8 hours a day when I'm at work and I get this service when I start to have foot pain. My first time here, will be back. Thank you fir a lovely experience. I called for an appt, and the woman who answered the phone just happily said, "Yes we will see you then!" Didn't take my name, which seemed odd. When I arrived though, she said, "the woman who wants a back massage, yes?" Ok game on. I requested the 60 minute hot stone and oil back massage which is only $40! I would've easily paid more. Time was spent on my face, neck, arms, feet (lots of time there) and then my back. My masseuse Judy was perfectly firm without being painful. The space was relaxing, clean, and very organized. I showed the owner his website thinking he would honor the price on his website and he said "this is the price" and pointed to a paper on the desk. Second, this place offers little to no privacy and tranquility. The front door is constantly being opened and light comes into the open air massage "room" when you're trying relax. You can hear other patrons moaning which was entertaining and awkward at the same time. The positive is that everyone is wearing a mask. Paid $40 for a 60 mins full body massage. My person was Coco. I weight train throughout the week, so I have a lot of tight knots on my shoulders. Coco was very thorough and tried to massage my knots out. Super painful but I felt great afterwards. The place has sectioned areas so each client gets a private room. You're not out in the open like other places. The place was quiet but you'll occasionally hear the workers shuffle around or whisper but nothing too distracting. Place looked fairly clean. We've being going for Reflexiology for several years now and recently noticed this place opened close to where we normally go. The first time we went we did foot reflexology. Of course it was heavenly! However on our next visit we decided to try the "full body massage with hot rocks". All I can say is OH MY GOD! Yes, the inside isn't your typical spa decor but it doesn't matter: I had one of the best deep tissue massages I've had in years here. I've normally had to pay twice as much and received half the massage experience. I can't believe I didn't go here sooner. Seriously, this place is the real deal.
