My favorite spot on the island hands down. I love their events. Especially the Cozy R&B parties. My last two events were the Rodeo and Chocolate City Party. It is located on 2nd floor in the garage. The garage gets packed quick. I highly recommend to uber. There is street parking available but you might have to do some long walking.

Wow. Most of the negative reviews are due to a rude bartender. We didn't have issues with the bartender though and really liked this billiard hall. It's pretty spacious with many large and bar-sized pool tables as well as darts. The tables, balls and cues were in pretty good condition too. Drinks and games are reasonably priced as well. Chill, local vibes.

They double charged me and still haven't given a refund

Hawaiian Brian's ensured me that I would get a refund a couple days later after they double charged me of my bar tab. I still haven't received it. To those that will go here to drink, bring cash, because their register may crash on you when you pay with your card.

Apparently 19 is a pretty good table number

It's taken me a while to review this place because I saw other reviews and I just want to start this review setting expectations. There's not many places in Hawaii for pool and darts on the cheap. I started coming here as an 18 year old who didn't wanna go back to her dorm but also didn't have money so $1 pool and darts at HB's it is! People complain about the ambiance of this place, but in all honesty, I never had an issue with it; it adds character of who/what Hawaiian Brian's is. Okay, the Crossroads venue could use some air circulation, but in Hawaii, venues like Crossroads are hard to find that are cheap and convenient. Would I come to an event here? Not really, just because I feel like the prices aren't worth it nowadays. I feel like HBs has 9/10 given just what I was looking for: a chill place to play a couple games to end off the night. Although, I do have to take off a star because pool is no long $1 anymore, I think it's per person, per hour now. But other than that, you can't expect a lot from this place, but that's a good thing. I feel like we all need someplace reliable like this and I'm glad Hawaiian Brian's has always been there to deliver.

A funky entrance location inside a parking lot next to 24 hour fitness held a surprising good venue for music. We were very pleasantly surprised indeed! Came for a jazz saxophone show for Nelson Rangell in their Crossroads space and totally impressed by the sound quality, lighting, seating, crowd and organization of check in. Would definitely come back.

EXTREMELY RUDE BARTENDER. I can vouch for all of the reviews below. The lady wearing the striped shirt (whom I can only assume is Danielle) is an absolute Karen (and that's being nice). One of the dart machines wasn't working but there was no visible sign or anything indicating that. The machine ate our money and when we brought it up to Danielle, she had the audacity to respond with a smirk "you can try to play on it if you want" & "sorry but if the machine doesn't work, then we can't give you your money back." Those statements alone should shed light on what a poor establishment this place is. Avoid this bar at all costs. It's dingy, smelly, and the bartenders couldn't care less if you spent money or not. Maybe they should take notes from the locals and chill out - it could do them some good.

Senior Chef Mung's Ono food station. He brought his own equipments. HB Social provided two tables with black cloth.

SB Social Crossroads was the perfect venue for the CODABUNGA concert! A huge shoutout to Lee, Ashlee -Event Supervisor I Bartender, Jon -Sound Engineer, Security, and crew. The team's collective expertise, passion, swift communication, and commitment were instrumental in creating an exceptional experience for the band and attendees. I also would like to thank Jon-the sound engineer for taking the time to share invaluable advice with Jason (the 18 y/o who spearheaded this project). Jon's expertise and dedication were evident and played a pivotal role in enhancing the overall experience. My deepest gratitude for the team's dedication to delivering a night to remember. Forgot to add: If you take a look at the negative reviews it seems like it's mostly for a bartender who works in the billiard/dart section. Restroom was all good during our venue.

This was a year ago, I didn't get a chance to until recently. I wanted to check out Sweet Mango's showroom which happens to be at The Pineapple Patio. From what I read, they do pop up events at The Pineapple Patio. The location of The Pineapple Patio is on South King St. right after the pet hospital and Central Pacific Bank. Stay on your far left lane as South King St. is one way. Make a left when you see State Farm Insurance. What I dislike about this place is the parking lot. Parking is very limited and very tight. I had a hard time parking my vehicle and hard time getting out. Once you find parking, you hit the buzzer for your pop up business and someone will come down to open the glass door for you. Walk up the stairs and you will see all the different vendors. During my visit to The Pineapple Patio, I had to pick up my son and was in a rush. I didn't get to browse around to the other vendors. What caught my eyes were all the plant and succulent across of the Sweet Mango's showroom, I wanted to check it out but had to leave right after. I will check it out when I have more time. Sweet Mango's products and showroom is so neat and organized. I loved the pineapple design prints on most of the merchandise, it is so nice and colorful. I had to get a pineapple print Turkish towel in green for me and a towel for my mom for Mother's day. Besides Sweet Mango Hawaii, some of the Vendors at the event were Tidepool Love, Kahulale'a, Aloha Dreamboard, and The Writing Desk. I read that it is best to check Instagram/social media's Pineapple Patio page for the upcoming events. What a great idea and great place to get your shopping done!

Look for the pineapple sign on the left side of King Street. There are about 10 parking stalls underneath the patio and street parking on King Street. This place is used for small start up businesses such as clothing and jewelry. It's a good place to have pop up events on the open patio or in their room. Another thing that I'm thinking about is possibly holding a bridal shower here in the future. Looks like a perfect venue to rent out and cater food at. (Not necessary to get catering, but definitely an option) They also rent out their furniture and plants that they have showcased around the patio. Super cute place and hope to be back soon!

As a child, I remember admiring and wondering who lived in this estate that borders Kapiolani Park…read more It was once known as the Winstead House that was built around the early-1900's. The estate was huge as it included horse stables, garages for horse-drawn carriages (later for automobiles), surrounded by undulating and well-manicured landscaping. The estate once extended from the intersection of Diamond Head Road and Paki Avenue to Kapahulu Avenue, around where Jefferson Elementary now stands. Back in 1992, the house was dedicated to the City and County of Honolulu. During 2003 - 2006, the C&C did a lot of renovation to the property and had a lot of concerns about its maintenance and use. Prior to its dedication by the Winstead descendants and the C&C renovation of this property, the Diamond Head Neighborhood Board held community meetings or gatherings. This property was also used as a backdrop to some local television shows..uh, anyone remember Magnum P.I.? To date, I don't know whether or not they have been permitted to continue using the space as such. Currently, there are offices that occupy its basement area by the Parks & Recreation administrative staff. All I can say is that if I worked in this facility, it would be very difficult to get any work done. I'd be wowed by the cool, gentle breezes, sunny blue skies and close proximity of Diamond Head and Waikiki Beach. But, that's what makes this property perfect for the Parks & Recreation to own and manage! #306

Place is AWESOME!!! I totally forgot about this location for events too! Shoots!…read more They can hold over 300 people sitting side by side for a screening, move or even music or dancing. But they can also rearrange a sitting arrangement so there is open areas for people to stand and mingle. Then they have the lounge area. That's our favorite! The couches are enormous and the set up is immaculate! They had floor walkers and escorts who helped everyone find seats or direct them where to go. That's as a good thing. Usually m, people have to figure out what to do or where to go at these events, no?! Lol. But this was a once in a lifetime experience for us and it was AWESOME! Of course my son didn't want to watch himself on screen, but, we all loved it! He did well. In fact, they ALL DID! Every single film was done excellent! I wish we could've stayed for the whole thing, but unfortunately we had to leave early because the kids had school the next day. So we left around 9pm. Maybe next time we'll have a better chance in watching our son on screen again. Soon! For sure... Ok that's about it! OH! And the restroom! Oh my... it's an experience to have. Lol! It's amazing! One door for ALL to enter. Then as you pass the main door, your in the lobby of the restroom. Like they have in fancy theaters or auditoriums or hotels. Yup! Only difference is, there's no seats or chairs to lounge on. There's a long marble counter top with about 5 individual sinks. Each side accessible for anyone to wash up. Mirrors along the wall. And then the MENS DOOR for their restroom is on the left and the WOMENS on the right. Ever the bathroom stalls were cozy. Toilet seats were nice and comfy, not those public restroom toilets. But the hotel kine. Just without the extra fancy buttons. It's definitely somewhere anyone should go and see. Especially when they host an event there. OK NOW IM DONE! Thanks for reading!
