I proceeded to hook up the camper and I discovered the batteries were both low. I went back inside to borrow there booster and returned to the camper and had no success with the poster, both batteries were completely dead. So I purchased 2 new batteries and proceeded to replace them when the salesman came outside and approached me to discuss the damage that another customer did to our camper. At no time prior did anyone mention our camper was sideswiped by anyone. I do appreciate him coming to tell me but I was amazed it wasn't the first comment from there staff once I arrived. There was a good chance I would have left without noticing it. I asked if we needed to call the police and he reassured me that this was going to be covered by insurance and not to worry. So I proceeded home and contacted my insurance company, acquired estimates for repair and have had the camper repaired by an awesome facility on the east side of Madison. Insurance would only cover the repairs and not my time or milage taking this in for it repairs! Well as of today Mound View will not return my calls let alone compensate me for my lost time or milage for the damaged that occurred on there property. Back when Sherry owned this business , she would have worked this out. The new owners hide and are not reachable. I will never return here for anything and so will anyone I have talked to. As a business owner I know how important open communications are with customers and how we need to work together to resolve issues as such.

Great place to buy if you plan on doing your own maintenance and repair. Purchased several units…read moreover the years. They were great to deal with until the last few years. The last unit we purchased here was to be for our retirement travels, it came with an expensive price tag and costly maintenance/warranty plan. This front slide leaked from day one. Never fixed. Toilet leaked. Replaced once but refused to fix or replace going forward. Never could get satelite tv connection to work. The last winterization took months to complete impacting our trip south. Ironically we replaced a faucet the following spring. We are assuming winterization happened after cold weather set in. The final act of poor service was finding holes in the vinyl floor by a slide when unit maintence and winterization finally complete. There were no holes in the floor when the unit was dropped off in October. In December, when we were finally able to bring unit home, we fould two holes with similar pattern cut into vinyl floor by the kitchen slide. No mention of damage when we picked up the unit. When we asked about the damage they acted like they were aware of it but had no plan to fix until we asked. No return calls, after several inquiries on status. We know that a slide that needs adjustment can cause this. We only wanted it fixed an were even willing to pay if the warranty would not cover the repair. After no return calls for weeks, we decided to buy a new unit. We like the convenience of Mounds View since its close to home and thought we would trade again with them. When we called to talk to sales we got the run around about no floor plans for new units. Promised to call when they had something. We waited several months again with no call back. We traded elsewhere. We found a company that takes pride in their exemplary customer service. 5 hours from home. We are very happy with our decision even if not convenient. We know we are "Fussy" and most likely that pain in the 'a55' customer" but we were only asking for service we paid for and better communication. We heard you loud and clear Mounds View RV. You don't care that we want to keep our unit on good shape. You don't want our business. You will also no longer get our recommendation to fellow RVers.

One of the techs quickly pulled up my RV and gave me something to try and reset the monitor. Went back and it worked perfectly. Even knowing he was not going to make a sale, he took the time to walk us around and educate us. We want to buy used so he told us of a couple units located 10 or so miles away. When I contacted them to explain the situation, they refused to respond. I took it to another repair shop and they tried their best, however it was ultimately deemed irreparable. Finally got ahold of Zach 2 months later. There was no effort to remedy the issue or discuss any reasonable solution. They did offer to charge me $50.00 an hour to look at it AFTER telling me it had a catastrophic electrical failure. It felt like once the sale was complete, customer service no longer mattered. I understand that used cars can come with risks, but a vehicle failing almost immediately raises serious concerns about how it was inspected or represented before sale. I would strongly caution others to be very careful when considering buying a vehicle from this dealer. Make sure to get an independent inspection and understand exactly what you're getting into, because support after the purchase will not be there.

She was talking down to us the entire time and saying that she isn't in the business to give away free drinks. Absolutely absurd! A better approach might have been to pretend the customer matters and not try to humiliate them in front of friends and employees! My mom's friend owns the place so my opinion may be a little bias but they do quality work nonetheless. I used to sport long hair and I used to get it trimmed here. After I cut off my hair I went here to get lined up and they still delivered results. Eldy is very friendly and the staff is very accommodating. Few of the workers speak English but they all seem to enjoy working there which is a huge plus. Eldy a few years back purchased or leased the adjoining business and expanded her salon but has recently scaled it back to it's original size. The fact that the business has been around this long says a lot. Mostly everyone who goes here is Spanish and the place should have a sign that says "We speak English too." However, over the years I have seen the clientele change as more and more white people go there so that's good! All in all, it is a place I'd recommend going.
