A few weeks ago, I was hit by a stolen car. My car was totaled and I was injured. The ordeal was…read moreoverwhelming! After looking at hundreds of cars, I was exhausted. I found several cars I could afford close by, but they didn't feel legitimate. I found a car online at Audi Hawthorne (the NY, not in NJ!) I e-mailed an inquiry, and Perry Snitkin in sales at Hawthorne answered. Perry was patient and understanding. We went back and forth with phone calls, e-mails, and texts, dozens of times, I even had a problem and couldn't show up as promised one morning. And he NEVER got aggravated. I realized he was a not a BS salesman, and I trusted him! All this for a car that was a trade in and he was NOT going to make a fortune on! Though there were similar cars much closer to me, I paid for an Uber, went, and bought the car sight unseen! I would give him and the dealership 10 stars if I could. The car was perfect and the warranty they give is exceptional. The dealership is also incredible to see, beautiful area. Sincerely, Michael Hirak

Their price to replace? Over $1,000. Yes, you read that correctly. Reading other reviews, it appears that Hawthorne practically gives the cars away so they can feed their highly-profitable "service" labyrinth. Sales picks up the phone right away, but good luck getting anyone on the phone for "service." My advice? Either find another service shop through Costco or buy a different brand. My 2001 TT is a blast to drive - when it works - but a very expensive and time-sucking toy to maintain.
