I highly recommend this Traffic school. Alfredo the instructor was so very helpful and funny. Also the staff in the office were very helpful and nice. You have to call and schedule the day u decide to take the class. The lady was very helpful and they call u to remind u a day ahead of the class. Just went to traffic school here and I actually enjoyed it. Alfredo was our class instructor and it felt like hanging out with a good friend. He was professional but also had a good sense of humor. We were given coffee , juice and a snack during a break. Limited parking in rear too. A great place to go to if you need their services. read more

Back in 2016 I logged my hours with Justin. Justin is the fucking GOAT super chill!!

This driving school is the most unprofessional and irresponsible business I have ever encountered. I took 3 driving classes with Justin and was able to learn a lot from him. He told me to schedule an appointment for the DMV because I was ready to take my driving test, when I got home I made an appointment for April 16th and then called the Hawthorne Driving School's office and spoke with the manager and let him know when my test was. He then told me to cancel my appointment because HE needed to create the appointment. He then scheduled my appointment for April 23rd. I called a week later after that with questions and the lady I was speaking to told me I had a pending charge on $180 on top of the $260 I already paid for my courses. I asked what the pending charge was and she said it's for when they take me to my DMV test. The Hawthorne Driving School never mentioned that there would be an additional fee and made it seem like the day of the test would be included into the $260. I asked why they never contacted me for a follow up on this charge, and if they were planning on charging me and not telling me or if they were not going to pick me up the day of the test. The woman then apologized and told me there was nothing she can do but I could keep my appointment and not go through them which I agreed to. Now, it is April 23rd and I show up to the DMV for my test just for them to tell me that the Hawthorne Driving School never made my appointment. I had to be sent home and needed to make another appointment for 3 weeks out. I would NOT recommend coming to this driving school because they lack communication and professionalism. Save your time and money by going somewhere else. read more

I took 4 hours of driving and also did the DMV Service and my instructor was Justin. I really had a great experience with Justin and Hawthorne driving school . Justin was probably by far the best instructor I have ever had. He showed me Easy techniques to Park / parallel park and gave great advice for the test . AND I PASSED the driving test , because of Justin I can drive!! I had also took classes somewhere else before and they would just yell when trying to teach me , an it was hard for me to succeed . Hawthorne driving school is by far the best in the area !! Don't go anywhere else and also book with Justin ! read more

I took a two hour lesson from the school to get a review of driving. The instructor was calm, gave instruction in clear manner and explained in detail what to do and what to look out for. It helped me significantly understand the minutia of the tricks to pass the test. I took the same instructor to the driving test and he gave me a quick lesson to be ready for what to expect. I live in manhattan beach next city over and they wouldn't offer pick up, claiming I lived to far away. I live only 15 min away.

If you are considering to book with this establishment please be aware of their hidden terms in their contract. I paid $475 for a complete course and to my surprise you have to complete it in 3 months. Not one hour of driving was provided. Their customers service is lousy and they are unprofessional. The worse thing about a company is their lack of communication and hidden terms. They are pretty much ripping people off... I will never recommend them and will post in other platform of their deceiving businesses practice. read more

Just terrible and absolute waste of time. (I won't use real names so I don't single them out but I'll call them rude Blonde woman and disrespectful guy in pink shirt). The instructors are very impatience, rude, and disrespectful. While driving with the two instructors we pulled into Drive-through Starbucks on Hawthorne Blvd. This place is always packed in the mornings and the queue typically spills onto the street. We arrived around 8:17am and sure enough the line of cars ended on Hawthorne blvd. There was a black BMW In front of us that wasn't pulled in the entire way into the lot; to allow pedestrians to walk by without forcing them to walk on the busy street, but both instructors proceeded to start making obscene hand gestures swearing; honking and crowding the car as to muscle their way in through intimidation. I thought there was going to be a riot as people were looking at us with such disdain. I just simply left the car and called uber because I did not want anything else to do with these two megalomaniacs. If you are looking for driving instructors to teach you road rage and how to troll; go here; if not do a search and you will find true professionals in the area for a lot less. read more

I had three classes two hours each with instructor Justin, he taught me everything I had to know to pass my driving test. Throughout the course we worked on certain areas where I was having trouble like my left and right turns after an hour of specific practice he would take me into the big streets to practice with traffic. He answered all my questions and made driving easier through his mentoring. I also passed my driving test the day after my last session and I passed with only 6 pts off of 15 max with no critical errors. read more

Rosie is honestly one of the best instructors out there. Regardless if you have driven before or not, she is able to guide you to become a better driver. She is a very loving and encouraging person who truly cares about all her students. She has a way to make everyone feel welcome and comfortable with her in the car. I believe she is the reason why I passed and love her dearly for that. But really if you or anyone you know are struggling with driving get or just want a certified instructor, there is no one better than Rosie. Traffic school seemed as though it was going to be the worse day ever but luckily the day went fairly quickly and at most times enjoyable. Super easy to schedule and they give you a reminder call the day before. Our instructor was Jorge and he taught us a few things about safety while throwing in his subtle humor in as well. Place is horrible. The instructor had me go get food for him on my time that I paid for! They did not give me my full hours that I had purchased! Even worse the instructor is rude and unprofessional. He's dealing with first time drivers he needs to be more courteous to his customers! I'm not paying for more lessons to this place I recommend you don't either! read more
