Great service, booking appointment was very easy, I really liked that they came out to my residence to pick up my son for his driving classes. It was his first time getting behind the wheel. Our instructor for both sessions was Ms Alvina my son said, she was patient and instructed him well, she had my son get on the freeway on the first day, I was impressed. She was also early to pick up my son, and gave him an extra 30 minutes after each time, that's another of the many reasons why I was moved to do this YELP. The Guy teaching me how to drive was rude. When I made a mistake, he would hemistake, he would yell at me like a maniac. He only treated me with disrespect. He made things so confusing. As a new driver with previous experience driving in 2023, the idea of getting behind the wheel again was nerve wrecking. Taking this next step with EZ Wheel Driving School allowed me to grow as a driver and a young man. Thank you to all the instructor's that made this possible. Mr Ken had so many amazing stories that if you could extract the moral from each you'd be wiser every time you left that car. JD was very informative. I asked a lot of questions and learned some new things about the road. Fun fact, the circles on the pavement near traffic lights are actually censors for the traffic lights. Who knew!? What a horrible, unprofessional service. First, we specifically scheduled for a Spanish speaking instructor and then they didn't send one. Every student is late getting home because the next student HAS TO DRIVE THEM HOME - ie they are too cheap to actually provide the classes you are paying for and they are using the "instruction" time to transport themselves around. In one instance, the next student didn't show up and they refused to drive our student home for TWO HOURS essentially holding her hostage. Then, she failed her test because of a flashing yellow light they knew was on the exam and they openly admitted they knew it was on the test but didn't go over it in instruction. I am only writing this review because despite all of these mishaps they refuse to take her to test again without us paying again. I would only use this service if you like wasting your money and time. read more

You can imagine my surprise this evening when I was sitting in traffic on Crenshaw, just north of Century, and a white Japanese import with a sign on top passed me on the left, in the center turn lane that was not yet open (though legal to use within a set number of feet during traffic). When the driver got to the light and the light turned green, rather than turn left, (s)he cut in front of the car in the left lane and proceeded straight. I know no student driver would pull that move--it was an instructor. So my next thought was, "Is (s)he really that dumb to pull such an illegal move with a driver's ed sign on top?" Apparently so. I can't speak for my experience with the school, but I can tell you that I wouldn't want them to teach anyone in my family how to drive. read more

We used Ez-Will 2x for my daughter. She is visually impaired ( one eye) but is ok'd to drive. Will knew this. Due to this she needs to take a special test. Will said he would make the appointment. She took her test today, they took her. He had scheduled the wrong test and now will not take responsibility. He now claims that she needs to schedule her own test. We were not aware of that as he had scheduled in the past. I asked him to take her again and he refused to take any responsibility. Not only would he not hear of it, he was quite condescending about it. Beware He went from very accommodating to very rude in a minute. Not good for a business. He made a mistake. Fix it. EZ Will drivers are friendly and patient. You can have some driving experience, or none at all. When I signed up for lessons I had some experience driving, but I wasn't confident in my driving. EZ Will helped me gain my confidence. I took 3 lessons, each lesson about a week apart. I scheduled my driving test about a week after my last lesson, and I passed my driving test the first time! Had I known about EZ Will many moons ago, I probably would have had my license a long time ago but it's okay. Me and my sister had called in advanced to see if they would work with me, one lady had told us yes, then we show up and it was crazy. The lady at the establishment was telling me that I would not be allowed, and even called the manger who said the same thing, both were very rude. So I'm 23 years old and I was ready to start driving. I passed by the driving school. While my mother was shopping next door. The school itself is nice, clean, and the administration staff is young. Young 20's to teenagers. The driving instructors (besides one of them) are all older. It's a great school to learn defensive driving from. They do work with you and the type of levels your on. I took four classes which cost me around $400. The instructors I had were all different. If I had to choose a perfect instructor; ask for Cynthia (she is rough around the edges) BUT she is like any other MOTHER. She wants you to do great and will criticize you in a way where I think it's needed most. Learn from her! The other teachers I had were nice but just didn't teach me anything that I already knew or just say there and just told me where to go. I still highly recommend EZ Will Driving School. read more

Ay, when I came here I couldn't drive AT ALL. Like shaking behind the wheel, brake happy, turning in the wrong lane, the works. I did 10 hours training with these lovely people and got my license within a week of being with them. Shoutout Ms. Debbie, Brother Ken, and Mr. Larry, "Don't Speed, Pay Attention, and Don't Anything Stupid." I went with their company to the DMV in Inglewood and passed on the very first try. I won't lie, when I saw the price at first, I was getting ready to walk out but they worked with me and we were able to agree on a decent amount. If I am completely honest though, it really feels like I cheated because the service I got from them was worth WAY more than the money they asked for. 65/10 you should go with them if you are looking to get a license in a speedy manor. And they have very flexible hours also. Pretty much any excuse you can come up with to not go with them won't work. read more

My son completed his drivers aid class online on Monday today is Friday I still have not received the certificate when I spoke to the Will the owner he gave me the option to pick it up but insisted on mailing it and I will receive it by Tuesday. So first off, it's very important for those of you considering this driving school to understand they aren't LGBTQIA friendly. I'm part of this amazing community and they did not respect my pronouns. Another thing, I paid 6 hours of driving lessons including the dmv service and they hardly taught me anything! The first instructor I got was very rude and very unprofessional. Disrespected my pronouns, consistently kept touching the wheel, horrible greeting the first time we interacted , and taught me nothing. She even had the audacity to smoke near the car while we were waiting for "another student" which is unsafe to have another student in the same car with the instructor during these times (COVID-19). They did not mention this to me whatsoever I had to learn after I took my first lesson! I called and complained they didn't seem to care much. I got a second instructor who was another individual on the next lesson. The instructor was okay, taught me more then the first individual and respected my pronouns.I didn't have him long unfortunately. They ended up giving me another instructor. When it came to the last instructor for the dmv, he was rude, he didn't respect my pronouns, he didn't care about me as a student whether I passed or failed. He was also speaking to random people at the dmv the whole time I was waiting to be called to take my behind the wheel test. Unfortunately I failed my test on the first try even after 6 hours of lessons paid. Even on my way back home disappointed, this instructor did not care or encourage me they just didn't care. I didn't learn much the instructor made me uncomfortable and did I mention they've also discouraged me? Yes, they have favoritism. I highly recommend another driving school. ANOTHER VERY IMPORTANT THING THEY DO NOT FOLLOW COVID 19 REGULATIONS. I took a two hr course just to prep myself a couple of days before my drivers test. Everything was going fine until my instructor made a racist comment the first 15 min of driving making the whole lesson awkward. I wanted to go off on the instructor so bad but like I said they said it at the start of my 2 hr lesson. They charge $50 if a customer cancel an appointment but don't give credit if they are the one to cancel . They cancel on my daughter 2 consecutive appointments and give her a month waiting period . EZ Will almost got no stars! Because of my first instructor. I'm 34 and never driven a day in my life and I explained this to Calvin (instructor) so not only did we pick up his dry cleaning, got gas and Lotto tickets, but he also got me on the freeway on my very first day!! The 405 to the 105 with no warning whatsoever. All while yelling at me to put some gas into it. He basically just let me drive with little to no instructions "stay to your left" was his go to. And taking over the wheel was his other tactic. Once we made it to Carson we picked up the second student of the day. He made me drive to the location which was a gated community. He also made me look for the students house. While we waited for her. He started sratching his lotto tickets. My time was now up and I'm all the way in Carson. So he has the second student drive me home. She is 16 we are on surface streets so it takes almost an hour to get home. That wasn't explained to me. All that was told was pick up and drop off. At least 30 mins of my paid time was taken up by running errands with this guy. He gave no direction or explain anything. I had such a bad experience I wanted to cancel my second day but I didn't and I was glad I kept my session with Melly. She was amazing. She had cool Auntie vibes and gave me detail tips on my turns and took her time showing me how to properly turn which was my biggest struggle She cared to ask unlike Calvin. She was super patient also and funny. I enjoyed my time with her. She was also very apologetic for Calvin's behavior. She showed me how to park and didn't take me on the freeway. I learned so much in my time with Melly and she got me home on time!! She didn't waste any of my paid time. I highly recommend requesting Melly! Overall the customer service is great and so are the prices. I would definitely use EZ Will again but only with Melly as an instructor. read more

My daughter is taking the online class. Don't take the class online. Take the actual classes at the school. The online videos are very old, boring and has a lot of irrelevant content as for as driving. I had read the reviews and was excited for my lesson because of all the good things that were said. I scheduled my lesson and confirmed the time and date. My card was charged that same day. Day comes,(today) and no one ever shows up. Never received a call that this lesson needed to be rescheduled or cancelled. I had to call and find out if there was even an instructor coming. As a company, if you are going to charge up front, have the decency to call and reschedule/cancel. Beyond unprofessional and unreliable. My friend recommended this driving school for me and I was very satisfied with the overall service. What drew me to them was that their prices are slightly lower than CIS Driving school. My drive instructor was really cool with me. Rather than yelling at me whenever I made a mistake, he actually crack some jokes and corrected me to keep me calm. By doing that he made driving a very comforting and relaxing experience for me. The only cons that I could think of is that there was some tardiness on the part of the instructor, but it was never more than 10 mins. But if it happened, sometimes he's let me drive 10 mins after my time so I could get my 'fair share' of the driving. He also ate when I drove, which was a little weird. But despite so, I was able to get my license and I drive alot more comfortably than I did before. read more

I received driving lessons here over ten years ago (when it was still Goodwill Driving) at two different times, by two different instructors. I was extremely nervous about getting my license because I had been in a few car accidents over the years always as a passenger (the last one left me permanently injured), and at that point I had a child who was in early elementary that I would be driving around. The first go round, my instructor was Will's brother (so sorry I forgot his name), and the second instructor I had I believe was Tina; truthfully, I was blessed to have both! Will's brother taught me the laws and rules of driving; Tina taught me common sense driving; and together I was prepared enough to get my license on the first try. Because of fear, I was in my early thirties when I finally bit the bullet and got my license and I would not have been able to do it without them. It's so weird that even 10+ years later I still hear Tina's voice asking me 'what I think I'm doing with my foot' when I prepare to brake unnecessarily. LOL! read more

After failing for my test 4 TIMES! i was quite scared and nervous to take my driving test, i went back and forth looking for good driving schools, with amazing prices because I am still a student and i wanted something i could afford! i came across EZ driving school a couple of times and i was still reluctant! finally i picked up my phone and called the driving school to ask for some advice and just to confirm if the prices matched. I spoke to the owner Mr Will, he was so kind to me and we had a long conversation about my driving and this was prior to the test, he put some insight in my mind that made me pick the 4 hour lesson instead of one. I booked for my test and called the school a week later and spoke to Mrs Roberta, she was so sweet and lovely and I became more comfortable with the school because of their professionalism! I felt like i had known the staff for years and this was just over the phone. the day prior to my test Mr Eric called and came to pick me up! he was prompt, and we immediately got along, i felt like i had been taking lessons with him from the beginning, he was VERY PATIENT and encouraging! he knows his stuff! please when you guys go to EZ ask for Mr Eric! we take an hour break during the two hour period and we stop by the school! i had a chance to meet Mr Will and Ms Roberta, they were such lovely people and VERY ENCOURAGING, that encouragement alone made me feel like i was going to pass! i took my test and the dmv i failed at 3 times prior! and i passed with only 5 mistakes. First let me start by saying that the owner of this company once worked for another driving school as a driving instructor many years ago. I recall him stating that he wanted to start his own driving school. Fast forward, as an adult now, I would see driver-training vehicles with his name on them. So I wanted to support and signed my son up for lessons. The package I purchased was close to $700. It contained two parts: A virtual session & Behind the wheel. My son provided them with his information for login purposes for the virtual portion. When it came time for the behind the wheel portion, the receptionist called my phone out of the blue, stating that the instructor was outside my residence waiting for my son. I explained to her that for one, my son was still at school. Secondly, I never received any notification (via phone/text/email) stating the date & time of the behind the wheel training...She then proceeds to tell me that there is a $50 cancellation fee for the missed appointment because some other student that was present in the vehicle had completed their training. What sense does that make and what does that have to do with my child missing out on the behind the wheel driving???? I asked her to repeat this over to me several times to see if she would catch how redundant that sounded. She also stated that my son would not be able to move forward with the training until the cancellation fee was paid. From that point, I asked to speak to her superior. She first stated that he was not in. Then all of sudden he becomes available. So I spoke to (I'm guessing Will himself, the owner) and I explained to him the same info I had told his receptionist. He stated that the driver needed to be compensated. Therefore, the cancellation needed to be paid because that's the company's policy. They claimed they had sent the information for the appointment date/time to my son. Why on earth would they send correspondences to a minor regarding the appointment, but they contacted me (the adult) directly for him to meet the instructor at the time of the alleged appointment??? The information that they read back to me was none of the information provided when I initially signed my son up and purchased the courses. So the owner, first stated that he would look into the matter and get back to me, but then decided to issue me a refund instead, for the behind the wheel portion. No offense, but I'm a small business owner myself. Why would anyone give up hundreds of dollars over $50, all because "the driver needs to be compensated"????!!! If these are his business practices, then I don't understand how he is surviving in this economy against other competitors...None the less, I wish him well, but I cannot recommend this place due to lack of adequate customer service and business practices. read more

I recently had my daughter take this class, HORRIBLE . Someone will come take you out to drive for your hours, however they have extremely bad communication within the company on rates and hidden fees. They will tell you one price for your service and tell you it includes several things then tell you something totally different with extra prices from a different representative ( cross communication ) after you completed your hours, basically my daughter didn't learn anything for $ 320.00, and we have to take her to get her license and drive on our own, which defeated the purpose.
