I recently purchased a brand new Ultra Red Model 3 and was in need of PPF installation. I drive quite a bit on the 80 so cars take a beating. I swear I kill half the bug population on the causeway. I used Yelp to shop different installers in the Roseville area. Gold Wurks was one of the first to reply. GW has been installing PPF for over 20 years. I dealt mainly with Christine and she was very communicative about the services, products and timing. She worked with me on my schedule and answered all my questions in a timely manner. Her customer service was one of the reasons I chose GW. I felt she offered the fairest price for the most quality product: Xpel Ultimate Plus. Xpel is considered one of the leaders in PPF with 10 year warranty and self healing properties. Also they could do the install in one day. The protected the following: hood, fenders, front bumper, headlights, frontside of rear view mirrors, luggage strip on back bumpers and door edges. While the quality of the product is important, the quality of install is even more important. GW did an excellent job. The seams were clean and the ends were tight and nicely fitted. My pictures do not do their work justice. To that point, I hired a Detailer (also a PPF installer) to work on my car. That Detailer said they did a really clean install job. I also found out GW installs for a lot of the luxury dealers in the area like Volvo and Porsche. Christine and David were wonderful! We wanted to get our Tesla Y wrapped with paint protective film and it came out wonderfully. They got back to us right away with a very competitive quote and were able to work around our schedule. They were absolutely meticulous in applying the kit and even met with us on a Sunday to trim some of the film away from our parking sensors that had an issue seeing through the matte finish of the film. I dropped my car off at closing time so they could start work on it first thing in the morning, and they insisted I hang out after hours while I waited for my ride! We chatted about how they've been doing this work for over 20 years but just opened up this location in Roseville. They were so hospitable and friendly! I found them on the Xpel website, and they were listed as certified Xpel installers. I just bought my 2022 Tesla Model Y. This was my first time getting ppf for any car. David and Christine were so helpful when answering all the questions I had. They are mobile for a fee which is why I choose them since I had a toddler and a newborn. They used Xpel ultimate fusion on my car and you can barely tell there's ppf on the car. I'm happy that I can drive around without worrying about rock chips! I highly recommend this business for a clear bra or for headlight preservation. I personally used them to preserve and protect my headlights. I had them do it for 2 of my cars. A 2019 with older headlights and an older car that I bought new lights for. They were able to do the new lights for me that were still in the box and of course the lights that were on the car. I'm a believer in putting on the PPF because it really does keep your headlights from turning yellow. I've done it to both of my trucks 6 years back and they are both going strong, nice clear headlights just like new! I called them up and said bring it on down, it was a small job so they were able to fit me in the same day I'm sure if it were a bigger job this may not have been the case but they took care of and the customer service was great from the time I called to the time I left the office. Making the appointment was super easy. The couple came to our house and did a partial ppf on our new car. They requested that we wash the car ourselves before they came to apply the film. Dave and Christina own and operate this service business for over 10+ years and Dave has been an installer for 23yrs. Very friendly and detail orient people. They started off in The Bay Area and were contracted with Marin county car dealership, then moved to Rocklin area and are now contracted with Roseville dealerships. The usual cars they wrap are Porsche, BMW, Audi, Mercedes, Lexus, Maserati, Range Rovers and other foreign cars. And of course, as long as they have the configurations to your car on their database program, they will install the film. They own a machine that cookie cuts the film so it fits exactly to the specs of your vehicle. I chose Gold Wurks vs the other competitors because of the high volume car ratings on Xpel website, factory trained from Xpel, using the Xpel program for perfect cut outs of the film, and using Ultimate film. Another advantage choosing Gold Wurks is they are mobile as they will go to your house and install the film in your garage. Very convenient if I may say. After watching them prep and install the film, I was very impressed by the amount of detail and precession they used. It looked like they were wrapping their own car. As for pricing, it's the best compared to its competitors as I contacted 2 other business with the same criteria as Gold Wurks. One last thing, you will always get a live person to talk to as Christina will pick up call unlike other competitors, they will call you back 7hrs later. Keep in mind, Xpel is the best clearbra out there, hands down as it has a self healing process, and 10yr warranty which covers yellowing, staining, cracking, blistering, and peeling. When I brought my car over, Dave and his wife took a look at my car and went over the job which was to be done, setting expectations so there are no surprises. After a pleasant chat, I left and came back to pick the vehicle. When I got home I took a close visual inspection of the PPF job especially the bumper which is the most complicated, like every job, experience matters, experience matters a lot and Gold Wurks has been doing this for 20+ years. I know I'm not much of a reviewer, so credibility may not weigh heavily here, but here it goes: So the owners did an excellent job consulting me the best path for wrapping my Model 3. My original thought was to go with the partial front end since it was more affordable, but Christine recommended I went with the full because many of her clients eventually went with the full after some time. I did my own research regarding this information and confirmed it to be a valid recommendation. So full it is.... During the first visit, they noticed the paint chip marks on the hood. They could have easily continued wrapping the car with the noticeable chips marks, but they highly recommended I grab a touch up paint from Dr. Colorchip (where according to some sources, where Tesla gets their paint). So I went with their advise again... After 1.5 weeks, my Model 3 was wrapped with XPEL! Craftsmanship was on point! Also, they also included PPF on my rear bumper where it lines up with the trunk! I highly recommend their service, down to earth folks, and a delight to converse with. read more

Other places we called said it would take 3-4 days which I don't know why. I was able to make an appointment with Christine really quick which I loved. They also have awesome pricing as well. Where do I even begin! David and his wife are two amazing individuals who take pride in their work/business. I contacted David in regards to my paint protection lifting on the edges (installed by myself which I do not recommend) and he told me to bring the car by the next day so the film doesn't get ruined from dirt etc...
