***DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS BAKERY. *** I was trying to avoid writing this review, but the lack of professionalism and the way my complaint was handled left me with no other choice. I ordered cookies and cupcakes for my baby shower, which was taking place yesterday. I spent $220 on my order, expecting quality products and professional service for such an important occasion. I picked up my order on Friday, and after a 10-minute drive (with the boxes kept flat the entire time), one of the cupcake containers had shifted so badly that several cupcakes were completely ruined. I tried to fix them, but the frosting had melted and smeared everywhere, making them impossible to fix so I had to throw them away. Even more concerning, I found a fly inside one of the sealed containers. This is a serious food safety concern!!! I immediately emailed the bakery with photos and videos. Up until that point, they had been incredibly responsive to every email. However, the moment I reported the issue, all communication stopped. It has now been three days, and despite being active on Instagram and continuing to post on social media, they have completely ignored my emails. The complete lack of professionalism has been incredibly disappointing. If I owed a business and a costumer reported a potential food safety issue I would make resolving it my top priority! Instead, I was left pregnant, the weekend of the 4th of July, scrambling to find replacement desserts for my baby shower because I had no idea whether they intended to respond or make things right. The stress and frustration this caused completely overshadowed what should have been a joyful weekend. I will never order from here again, and I cannot recommend it to anyone. read more

WOW! I'm always a Haley's fan, Cookies and Cupcakes truly awesome everytime! Last weekend I threw a baby shower for my son and daughter n law. I ordered a cake with a story book theme to match the invite and let's just say ROCK STAR! Delicious for one thing and gorgeous! I got the chocolate chip bar cookie. First of all, it was $4.50. Ridiculous. The icing was so sweet and tasted so bad that I couldn't eat it and I am a sweet fanatic. Procrastinated and needed some custom cookies made for a customer as a Christmas gift. My go-to cookie lady was booked up for the rest of the year so I went on a hunt to find someone to do last minute custom sugar cookies with my customers logos. First star is for their ability to take last minute orders and 2nd star is for quick turnaround on estimate and ease of ordering online. Overall, quality of the cookie isn't great. I guess I'm not a big sugar cookie kinda gal to begin with. The ones I got from here are thick and dry, really wasn't a fan. I was expecting some kind of custom hand frosted cookie, but the cookie ended up being a "print" onto frosting. I guess I should have asked to be sure, but with the time I had I just ordered them. I ordered two dozens and it came out to $132. Pretty hefty, but I wouldn't mind paying if they were good tasting quality cookies. Most likely will not return. read more

I love this place because you can just run in and get something amazing without planning ahead. Whether it's a cake or a quick snack to curb a sweet tooth craving. They have cookies, cupcakes, speciality sugar cookies, bars, kolaches, croissants, gluten free items, and they do custom orders. Highly recommend the oatmeal raisin and the oatmeal pecan chocolate chip. They have the perfect texture and they're not too sweet. There are nice clean restrooms, and a lot of merchandise to browse or purchase for gifts. It's very girly and whimsical inside. read more

We love Hayley's cookies. In my opinion you won't find better tasting decorated cookies than hers. They're like a sugar cookie shortbread hybrid. They're SO GOOD. I enjoy the regular drop cookies too. I've ordered many birthday cakes- which I find the cake to be too dense and not good, where I prefer a softer fluffier cake, however I still buy knowing this because the designs are so cute and often affordable, but they do end up being a centerpiece rather than completely getting eaten. I find the icing to be a little too sweet for my taste, but again, that's just my personal opinion and I know many people enjoy it. The cinnamon rolls are fabulous. We like the kolaches when they're available. We did have an instance where my fiancé tried to order me a birthday cake and they quoted him $200 and I thought that was a bit high because I regularly order cakes from here and while I know inflation is happening right now, there's no way it could have jumped that much, so I submitted the same cake inquiry and I was quoted $90. I found it to be funny; it's kind of like when I go to the mechanic for an oil change and then they start trying to uncharge me on things I don't need because they think I don't know better, well it seems like that's what they were doing to him lol I also wonder if they can see by my email and phone number how much I've ordered and that he never had, but who knows. I'm still a repeat customer and I take out of town friends and family here whenever they visit because these cookies ARE famous. read more

This is my second time ordering from Hayley Cakes; the first in 2018 and again in Oct. 2024. Six years later and the quality and value are still exactly the same. The cookies were beautifully decorated and meticulously packed. They were delivered from across the country in a timely manner and not one cookie was broken! Fan-freaking-tastic! We were feeling something sweet and happen to drive past Hayley's on our way home and made a quick turn. I'd never heard of the place before but the reviews looked great. All I can say is, wow. You walk in and instantly awed by everything displayed. It all looked amazing. Most difficult decision of the day was trying to pick one item to order. We ended up with the cookie dough and strawberry cupcakes. Both were indulgent as can be and drop dead amazing. I need to get back and try some of those cookies (or just more cupcakes)! read more

Stopped in here because the women in our group follow this place on Instagram. Seems to be the designs of the cookies are famous. I will say the designs are very impressive. The taste is just okay though. I sampled a texas flag sugar cookie, and it was decent. The order pictured is what I ordered for $4. Not a bad price since the cookie was thick, but I wasn't even able to finish it. Very sweet, but an issue was these balls mixed in with the sprinkles were rock hard. They nearly cracked my tooth when I bit into one. I cleared the other 7-8 off the slice and was able to eat about 3/4 of it before I called it a day. The women in the group all seemed to love it and all ordered the creatively designed sugar cookies, and I think it's best to stick with that for an order. The cookies were cute and the guest said they tasted good. But I won't be using this business again because of 2 snarky emails from Chelsa and then a meh response from the male manager. There was no outreach after my initial order was placed, even though I had included a question in my order note. And when I reached out to the business to get an answer, it was clear I was bothering them from the tone in their email. If you acknowledge intent may come across wrong in an email, why not avoid it by going above and beyond in cheerfulness and kindness in your emails to customers? And then if a customer feels it's important enough to follow-up in person, why would you use interpretation as an excuse? I work in customer service and so I understand that a person can feel bothered by customer's questions and requests sometimes. But it is part of the job to be nice. Or at least fake it. Well the cookies here are to die for. They are always so cute and the decorations are hilarious but most of all they are delicious. The cookies are always moist for being how thick they are. It's not too sweet either. The variety of cookies to select from are amazing. I love the minis because it makes you feel less guilty. Depending on the time of day you go you might be able to grab their other treats like cupcakes, brownies, etc. but later in the day most of those items are sold out. There is always cookies though. The staff is always friendly and patient while you make your selection of which design you want. There is plenty of parking in front and easy to get in and out of. Their fancy, pretty, cute, naughty cookies are their claim to fame and they're very good, excellent, actually. Just about any cookie you could think of/want is available. And they are yummy. I wanted cupcakes, so I stopped in on my way to work. I got lemon, red velvet, gingerbread & rainbow (not sure if that's the actual name. I can't post pics bc unfortunately, they didn't stay level in my car, so the frosting is smooshed, but it didn't affect the taste. I haven't tried them all yet, but the red velvet is exceptional. Why? Because it is a true red velvet (as good as my homemade red velvet cake and that is saying a lot) with subtle cocoa flavor and rich moist cake. Not fake like most others I've tried. Delicious! I absolutely love Hayley Cakes and Cookies, I buy them directly from the bakery, or other locations they are sold. I've used them for bday parties, teacher gifts, just because gifts, etc. HOWEVER, it seems I have been blocked from their IG account because I reported how badly my kids and I were treated there once while visiting. I am extremely disappointed because I continue to support them and shop from them, and tell everyone I can about them. I am just sad that it came to where I wasn't even all that mad about how we were treated, just confused and disappointed, I never used threating, obscene or even mean language. This place makes the cutest custom cookies and cakes!! I asked for gamer cookies for my sons game themed birthday party and they nailed it! The cookies were so good and everyone wanted one. I called a few times before placing my order and it was a bit of a rocky start but we came to an agreement pretty quick. There was a misunderstanding about the cake. I thought I was getting a cake that was chocolate chip flavored. Turns out the cake was a big chocolate chip cookie with frosting on it. I would definitely go to this place for cookies! Super disappointed in my baby shower cookies. Pick up was for Saturday and I missed it due to last minute preparations but I am THANKFUL these were not served at my party. I asked for "just mini Dino feet in grey" and this is what I got. Expectation management needs work, they did not say the cookies would be round, they did not say there would be a background color, they did not say the cookies would be packaged in 3's vs individually and that the icing wouldn't not be smooth. This is the second occasion that I have ordered custom cookies from Haley's Cookies. The first was for a rehearsal dinner and the second was for guests at our Christmas Shrimp Creole party. Custom shrimp Santa cookies were created for our guests. We attached ornaments with their last initial from Pottery Barn. Not only are the cookies tasty, they were very cute. Rarely when you call Haley's cookies will you speak to a live person, 99% of the time I had to leave a message, but recd a PC back the next day. My conversations with Nancy at their South location at first was less than stellar, not as professional as I would have expected. However, the follow-up PC was very professional. I would definitely recommend Haley's Cookies, most especially for a special occasion. The minimum order that we were quoted was no less than one dozen, ours was $6 for ea cookie. read more

This is a cute spot that I didn't even know existed. I have a job outside of the bakery and decided to try it out. Plenty of shared parking. The guy behind the counter was super nice and made a great recommendation. I live coffee and it's hot outside so he made me an iced caramel latte. So good. I also got a iced bun on sale for $2. The only reason I am giving 3 stars is because they messed up with my order. It was a birthday cake with two cookie toppers. One was a wine bottle that said "Aged 28 years to perfection" first mistake they wrote 26 instead of 28 (I could have passed that one) But the cookie was broken!!! I literally freaked out in the moment. It was a pick up for a Sunday (noon) my birthday party started @500 they made one of their decorators get there to fix the cookie. I really appreciated that. Now the reason of my 3 stars is only because if something like that happens I would like some kind of discount for the future or even better than that, offer to deliver the cake at my place. The only reason for that is because I had to make 2 trips to the store, and I had a ton on my plate that day. Other than that, the cake was delicious! For that I would give 5 stars but for the experience I can only give 3.
